Very good pizza chain. I usually get the deep pan pizza because the crust is soft and gooey. This time I got it with pepperoni, spicy sausage, and extra cheese. Yummy pizza from my favorite fast food pizza chain. Marco's stands out to me because they have old world pepperoni. The pizza is good and fairly consistent however it can be difficult to understand the person you're speaking to when placing an order. I could be starving to death in front of this location and not step foot inside to purchase anything from them EVER again. Let me start by saying, i have loved Marco's since moving to vegas in '17. Is it gourmet? absolutely not but it gets the job done in a house with 5 kids. So we order often. Typically the guys that answer are extremely pleasant and tonight was no different. The pizzas are always a toss up on getting your order correct or not but hell it's cheap so I'll take that chance most times. Tonight though i was kind of fed up with wasting my money. I placed an order online. Everything looked good but as soon as the website got my coins, the receipt screen loaded big as day. NO PIZZA SAUCE included in my pizzas description. EVERYONE I KNOW KNOWS THIS LOCATION HATESSSS TO PUT SAUCE ON THEIR PIZZAS WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR DOUBLE TO GET A REGULAR AMOUNT. I called that exact same moment because i knew they'd make it pretty fast. A guy answered. I told him what happened and he placed me on hold while he "went to get a computer" almost 10 minutes later the phone starts ringing as if i dialed them up again and CLICK. He hangs up on me. So I called back and got put on hold another 5 minutes. So i called back AGAIN and got the young man who put me on hold for the 5 minutes. He apologized we laughed about it because honestly i don't think he meant to hang up the second time like the first guy by the way he continuously apologized. He then told me he seen the error on my receipt and he knew there wasn't any sauce put on it and since the order was placed 15 minutes prior, it had already left the building. Again, I'm exhausted yet still exhibiting patience, he then told me to call back after the pizza arrived in 30 and to check it out. If i didn't like it or it had no sauce let him know. He would send another out. Pizza arrives, NOT how i wanted it. I called back to let him know. He then hands the phone to the absolute most sarcastic, condescending, and out right most disrespectful "general manager" who is nameless because she not only talked to me with the MOST disgusting tone to appear as if she was being nice. I explain to her the situation over and over. All she wanted to talk about was the receipt and what it said when i was explaining to her what was also NOT ON THE PIZZA. She hung up on me as i was trying to explain it to her for the 4th time. Did not call back so i called her back. She stated "oh man i didn't mean to hang up on you" in the most sarcastic way I've ever heard it. In anger, She offers $10 on my next order and to return the pizza. I said no because that's not what i was told what would happen. She then said she would send pizza in "25 to 30 minutes". So i have to wait 30 minutes and wait for it to be delivered? Umm NO. I told her i would just come to the location. At that point I was pissed. So i told myself me going up there would not be a great idea for us both. So i called back to just get her supervisors number or email. She refused to give me her name. She laughed when i asked for a corporate number then said "There's no point in calling corporate, we're a franchise". I then asked for her supervisors information. Her reply was "i am the general manager". I then asked for her boss or the owners number. Laughing again, she says "I'm not giving you that". This lady made a bigger situation out of something so easily fixable. Then she says "I'm trying to find you a solution" sarcastically again of course. When she just wanted to argue. It must be very easy to get promoted at this location. She shouldn't be working with anyone in the public EVEN AT A PIZZA PLACE. She was so rude, i will be there every single day until i speak to her boss. I live that close. Do with this information as you will. I order 2 pizzas for delivery at 3:24pm while placing the order I was told it would be roughly 30-45min. I called back to check the status of the order at 4:15pm and was told that the person I ordered with provided me with wrong delivery timing. I called back at 5:08pm approximately two hours after placing my delivery order and was told that the driver have already delivered my pizzas. After explaining to the staff that I never received my already paid for pizza, they stated that the driver was unable to locate my address and brought the food back to the restaurant. Wow.... Seeing all the recent negative reviews shows that i'm not alone and this place has fallen off a cliff. My story involves an order where they literally messed up every single item i ordered. 2 pizzas and chicken wings. The pizzas were poorly made and must have been cut by a blind employee. The slices were so ridiculously cut that they almost had to have it done on purpose. Giant slices and then little slivers. 1 wasn't even cut in the correct number of slices. The chicken wings were supposed to be in buffalo sauce but unfortunately when i arrived home... they were plain with no sauce. Whatever.... I don't like to complain and everyone was hungry so waiting another hour or whatever to complain and possibly have it remade didn't seem worth it. Places can have an off day but i've noticed the quality slipping. Busted out a bottle of our own hot sauce and made the best of the awful pizza we received. I did get a survey request so i did choose to complete that survey and express concerns. Marco's had been one of our favorites in the past and i'd love for it to return to the higher standard. I actually received a follow up customer service call which gave me a little hope. But they didn't even have the details of the story correct which had been spelled out in the survey notes. She had no idea what they did wrong and just offered me a $10 credit to "fix" the issue. I kind of laughed and said that it doesn't really sound like they actually care to make things right.... But just want to check me off of their list by throwing a measly $10 at me. She asked me to hold so she could talk to a manager. What??!! Some random employee is making the customer service calls? Well this seems to confirm my thought that they don't really care about the issue and just going thru the motions. I sit on hold for longer than i would have liked.... I was just trying to go about my day and she called me to try and fix it.... Now i'm on hold for an extended period of time. She gets back on and explains how she had a conversation with her manager and how does $15 credit sound. Lol At this point, i'm annoyed and told them that clearly they don't care and this isn't supposed to be a negotiation. I told them i won't be back so don't even worry about a credit that i won't use anyways. But also that they just didn't seem to actually care. She asked me to hold 1 more time as she claimed to understand my frustration. She comes back and said that they would do a full remake of the order whenever i would like. They wanted to show me that they would get it right. I explained that this seemed like a more sincere effort and i'd be willing to give them another chance. She ended the call with a snarky "Hope you have a better day". Cuz that was necessary.... Lol. And my day was just fine prior to you calling and trying to do the absolute minimum to get by. Now fast forward several weeks and we finally decide to take them up on the offer. We give our name and say that we should have a remake from a previous order. Well our account now shows a $25 credit instead. We spent over $60 previously so we asked what happened to the remake? They had to get a manager again and we were told that there was no way they could do a full remake b/c it was too big of an order. 2 pizzas and some chicken wings.... So if it is MY $60+ i am supposed to just deal with a messed up order. But if it is THEIR $60+ then it is too much for them to honor. They explain how the only way they could have done a full remake is if we addressed it the day of and brought the food back. So another stupid policy as these places think we have unlimited time to sit around for a total of 2 hours to have them botch the 1st order then come back end have them remake everything while my family sits at home hungry and wanting to do other things. So even in that scenario..... the customer still loses. We ask why we were told they would do a remake but now won't.... He said that they just can't. So that makes them liars on top of it all. So no thanks.... Keep our $25 credit since obviously it is so important to you. And keep racking up these 1 star reviews. Super disappointed but customer service is dying. But now they take forever and their time estimates are waaay off. Quality control is non existent. I've witnessed unprofessional behavior when waiting to pick up food and employees talking trash about the people who call in to make orders.... I have been coming here for YEARS, at least 10 for sure and although this rating isn't for the pizza because it's delicious but the service here is the worse ‍ They have about 12-15 people working in the kitchen and nobody is ever at the front. I ordered 2 small pizzas for pick up because they said delivery was 90 minutes. Pick up was 40 minutes. I arrived at the 40, I was told they are behind by 15 minutes. Ugh. But ok. I wait the 15. I see folks walking out so I think ok I'm ready. I go in and I'm told another 10 minutes. WHAT?? Now mind you, I don't know other folks and when they ordered but I'm like wtf is going on?? Second wave of folks who was here before me still got out before me. Now I'm waiting still. I sure hate it. Now we can't order delivery on line because it says our address is out of range. We're in the same zip code as the store.
