This is an incredibly generous rating, and only because the staff is great. As far at the pizza itself goes, it likely has value if you're drunk, stoned, or looking to trade a pizza for a Titanic DVD at a garage sale. Otherwise, it's not going to be inspiring. However, we can add starving to the list. If you're starving, you might like it. I don't mean like Ethiopia 1986 starving, and I don't mean like you didn't eat breakfast. Somewhere in the middle. Maybe like you climbed Mt. Washington, only had a PB&J on the way up, got stuck at the peak overnight, and woke up 'starving.' Then again, you would wake up frozen and wouldn't really care. Anyway, these are the thoughts that came to my mind after eating Marco's Pizza + one night sleep. This is solely based on the pizza eaten: XL half cheese, half pepperoni and XL meat. Overly doughy, unsymmetricaly sliced and lack of toppings. If you love extra crusty qnd tiny 1" slices next to 6"+ slices along with a meh cheese and toppings, then Marco's is for you! The price wasn't ridiculous, but for a lackluster pizza then it is. $20 for an XL meat and $14 for an XL 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni. Came today got the heart shaped pizza for the kids I sit for. I ordered an XL but only got a medium. When I paid for an XL, if it was an extra large it was super small pizza. I had to make the kids something else because this pizza didn't fill them up. Don't waste your money on the heart shaped pizza. read more

Had the late night munchies and ordered delivery from here. Love that they are open late and have delivery. Just ordered a plain cheese large pie. Delivery was quick:) when i looked at the box it looked small for a large pie and when i opened it It looked like many other franchise pizzas out there so i wasnt expecting nothing great but when i took a bite the pizza was still HOT and the sauce had great flavor. The cheese was good and melted stringy. Pizza was pretty good only thing is that it was small for a large. The guy with the sale sign outside was dancing and inviting us over earlier in the day. Best pizza around no doubt. I pick this over jetz, papa johns, cicis, dominos etc any day of the week when Im ready to order out a pizza for the house. Always made fast. Unfortunately they don't deliver to my area so the pizza can some times be alittle cooled down when I get home but I believe that lets the cheese settle and gives it an even more flavorful taste. Not to say the pizza is cold or I enjoy a cool pizza but compared to other places in mooresville its the best. read more

Love the food. Number one go to for the large gatherings we have at the house. Menu is diverse and thin crust pizza is the bomb!

6 kids visiting town and I decided the easiest way to keep them together was to buy some pizza. We got 2 XL pies with double toppings thanks to a coupon. The place is pretty noisy but I would not really think this was a good place to go to dine out unless with a loud group of kids like me. Felt a little sorry for the old couple and family with a new baby that also were in there. But the pizza was great! The service at the table good and really liked the register guy who worked out the best deal using coupons for us. We all loved it and will be back next time we visit. 2 to 3 times a year we come here so we shall see you in the spring! read more

First time ordering from the mooresville location, first off the girl told me the wrong price, then they forgot the garlic butter crust topping and they cut my pizza into 14 small annoying slices. If you want New York-style pizza, this is not the place for you. Don't come in expecting that style and then give a bad review if it isn't something that it doesn't claim to be. I am one who enjoys a good NY-style slice, but I also appreciate all the other great varieties of pizzas in the world! Marcos in Mooresville has a small seating area if you want to eat in, but I get the sense that they are primarily a carry out and delivery kind of outfit. We ordered a large pepperoni pie and a Hawaiian. We really liked that they put chicken on their Hawaiian--it added a little extra something. The crust is a little thicker (though not Sicilian thick) and has a great flavor: a little crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. My son ordered a steak sub and while it was good, the roll was a little over-toasted. We also got one of their brownies and it was delicious! There are a lot of pizza places in Mooresville, but Marcos is unique enough to stand apart so it should do well. read more

Highly recommended by a friend I gave it a try. It was the 2nd day open and it was very good. Customer service was excellent, very over staffed but mostly in training and there were several managers working to keep things running smooth and it was working. I was very impressed with the he quality of ingredients used (if you like Italian sausage, you must try theirs). They do deliver and seem to have a wide delivery range and have takeout. There are tables for eating there, however it is not a large seating area. Highly recommend giving them a try, great pizza for a great price. read more

Ordered a medium half cheese/ half pepperoni tonight, square cut. Order was wrong and pizza was overly greasy...as in, a substantial amount of grease dripped off of each slice every time I took a bite. Couldn't fathom to eat more than two pieces and that was only because I was starved. Anyhow easy to order online .... gives you a tracking monitor and ETA which so far has always been beaten ... The reason for the 4 Stars and not 5? Never can get their coupons to work on the online site. Tried numerous times but have failed. Printed off a coupon for $10 off $$20 order. Ordered came to $22.40 total with tax. Went to pick up my pizzas and the employee tells me I'm .2 off the $20.00 order. I said I'll pay the extra .2. He did try to overide the system,but the system refused my coupon. He wanted me to order a $1.79 drink to make It over the $20.00 before tax. I don't drink soft drinks and walked out of the store without my pizzas. I will never go back to Marcos. They need to get their website updated. I guess Pappa Johns will be getting my money for now on. Sad they lost a customer for life over .2 read more

I live 7 minutes away from this place via car and that's in the notorious Race City traffic even. I placed an order for a delivery while busy at home. Prior to that order I have picked up several times from them. Food is fine. Service is awful. Then girl on the phone was a blank slate, unable to work within any improvisational level whatsoever. Put me on hold to get answers to common questions ultimately refused my 42 dollar order because I was a pinch out of some undesignated (publicly at least) delivery area. I'm pretty sure corporate policy is profit and retaining a loyal customer base. Good job messing them both up. read more

I was getting my oil changed at grease monkeys across the street when I saw this pizza joint! I'm a sucker for pizza and thank baby Jesus it was lunch time! Walking in I had pretty low expectations and after my first bite I literally was shocked, mind blown and confused that this place actually made awesome pizza! This is wayyy better then the known big chain pizza companies! Wouldn't go as far as the best but def. better then the chains!!! Now that I have discovered Marco's it will definitely be my new order pizza night spot! (Papa johns was it before). Called my roommate to share the awesome find, because that's what real pizza lovers do! She had already known about Marco's and completely agreed with me on my new discovery. Last night the power was out when the family got home. It was about 6pm. I called to order thinking that we would have to wait awhile since I knew we were not the only ones without power. Ordered from here for the first time today because of the reviews but I guess being from Chicago my standards are higher than most. If you want the same quality as Little Caesars well this is for you. Toppings were of good quality which is the only plus. We often order from Marco's on Brawley School Rd. Delivery and always pay cash. Tonight I order online (as normal) at 7:41pm. Email verification received. Delivery window read 8:35-8:45pm. I kept refreshing "track my order" which said "we're making it." At 8:59pm I called and was assured it was out for delivery and that their app was not working properly. (I did not use the app) Okay, great. My husband opened the garage (all outdoor lights on) to wait while I took a shower. At 9:20pm still no delivery or call. I called at 9:23pm, the manager said the delivery driver waited outside for 15 minutes?!?! And that she personally called me 3 times. I put her on speaker to double-check. No missed calls. I tried asking her if he went to "drive" or "place" because it is a common mistake (though since we order often, hard to believe) but she kept talking over me and would not let me speak. No anything, but it was my fault and she was the manager on duty and personally canceled the order. As we have many other choices-we will be now making another choice. read more

This pizza is AWESOME. Great sauce. Great crust. Generous toppings. The wings are great also... not all fatty like most pizza places send out. Real meat on those bones. They will even dump extra buffalo sauce on them and make them super hot if you ask. My special order wings actually made me break a sweat, which is refreshing. They did forget to send the blue cheese, but they dropped it off shortly later. New location, so I'm not holding a little slip against them. We added a Greek salad to the order this week, which was fresh and full of toppings and an extra dressing packet. SO much better than other places. Very impressed with the food from Marco's, and thanks to Bill for making sure our family dinner experience was top notch.
