I got takeout from Marco's and had a great experience. The staff were super friendly and even though I'm sure most people order takeout or delivery they still had seating available. The food was really good. The vegetables tasted fresh and they were very generous with the toppings even though I just ordered the standard pizza with no extras. The pizza itself was thick and doughy which I know some people love but personally I'd probably go for a thinner pizza next time. Also they do BOGO every Tuesday which I didn't know. My mother observed an employee here handling cash, working on the cash register, and handling food. All of this without washing hands. He felt this was okay. Told her to go someplace else when she notified him that she no longer wanted the order she placed. The staff member took this as his opportunity to be rude when he was in the wrong. Explaining he was the only person working that evening. It is not okay to not wash your hands between handling money and food for customers. Marco's should hire others to take the pressure off one person trying to handle everything in the store. This employee is not concerned about customers' health. Gentleman chopping lettuce with gloves on but stop to answer his phone and went back to chopping lettuce without washing hands. Absolutely disappointed in the service I received from this location. I went in while running errands and ordered a pizza to which a young man (Jonathan- manager) told me it would be 10-15 minutes. I told him I would finish my errands and return to pick it up. I went to the grocery store directly behind the shop and when I returned a different young man went to check to see if it was ready, then returned telling me it would be out in 5 minutes. I stood in the lobby waiting for exactly seven minutes and Jonathan who had taken my order told me that he had forgotten to even make it. I was waiting for a pizza that wasn't even in the oven. *Note to your staff, it is unprofessional as a manger to not be in sync with the staff you work with. Communication in the food business is key. It is also unethical to lie to customers who are waiting to be served. I could have gone a different direction and cursed and shouted and demanded my pizza. I didn't, I addressed the concern, as well as the lack of communication. And THEN I addressed the lie. I asked how he wanted to handle it to see if me or my business really mattered and he offered me a discount. We've had pizza from here twice recently. Most recent they were not doing deliveries, in fact just the owner couple doing everything and only providing take out/curbside pick up, busting their butts and doing a great job. The pizza is very pleasing. Love the Pepperoni Magnifico. Also enjoyed the Deluxe but prefer the All Meat. The classic crust is very good, love the dough. So my review would be 4-5 stars because we have enjoyed their pizza. The only reason why I'm giving it a 1 star now is due to cleanliness. I work close by and we have been noticing that they have been opening and leaving open their back door for hours at a time. There are a lot of flies, flying bugs and other insects in this state. Their pizza is pretty standard - I've tried a few types, and I like the fact that they offer a variety of toppings. The service has been friendly so far, as well. My biggest qualm is probably the cost of the pizzas - they are on the pricey side, and in my opinion, not quite worth it. Compared to Papa John's, Dominoes, or Pizza Hut, Marco's is probably a slight bump up, in my opinion. You just end up paying for it. If you were to ask me where you should buy hot pizza, I'd tell you Costco. Best bang for your buck. Placed a large order (8 pizzas, breadsticks, & salad) at 5:35 with a delivery time of 6:20. At 6:14, someone from the restaurant tried to call (2x's), but I was purchasing groceries. At 6:15, they called again and I answered. They informed me that, if they placed my order, it would use all the dough they had made for the day. When I asked why they waited until 5 minutes before our order was due to be delivered to inform me of this they stated they tried calling (I.e. the calls I missed 1 minute prior). When asked why wouldn't it be a good thing to guarantee they sold out, they rudely responded, "Look, my manager said we're not going to fill your order so I'm sorry but we're canceling it." We had to scramble to get food for our group. It's one thing that they weren't interested in fulfilling our order (which would have guaranteed they made all the pizzas they intended to make for the day), but to call at the last possible minute and to be so rude is just poor service. read more

I would love to give this place more than 2 stars. The pizza is worth a trip. However, the customer service is severely lacking. When I first started getting pizza there it was great. They'd call out our name when the pizza was ready. They would show you the pizza before giving it to you as a quality assurance. My last couple times have been awful and they haven't even been busy, no excuses. When someone's pizza is ready and you say "uhh here's your pizza." I don't think that's the standard. But then again, what do I know? Maybe it is for this location. Then asking if I need to sign anything or if I can have my receipt and being completely blown off. Again, probably not the standard. Also, the employees need to remember that it's open kitchen. Meaning we can hear you while we (the customers) are in the restaurant. May just be this location. Who knows. read more

Pretty good pizza. Crust is on the thicker side but not the puffy white bread like Dominos, papa John's etc. Tasty and chewy but nothing super. They do have have specials (2 med 2 items for 7.99 each) and its reasonable. Sauce is good and topping are tasty. Here is where it goes wrong: if you get an XL with 4-5 toppings it will be $25+ and its not a 18-20 inch pie. And thats for pickup. That same pizza will be $30+ after delivery. The wings are doll house size small. Hot wings are not very hot. I had not eaten wings for a year to give my cholesterol levels a break, so I was a bit disappointed by these. Although the wings were not terrible, I can't really recommend anyone getting wings from here. They didn't have that good crispness surface.
