The rolls she brought out had been sitting for a while before coming to our table. They were cold and tough. Everything on the plate had different temperatures. One vegetable was piping hot yet the food not evenly cooked. The other vegetable I got was the roasted potatoes. These on the other hand were lukewarm and did not have a good taste. They almost tasted like dirt. The other person in my party said the same thing about her food being lukewarm as well. I left over half of the food on my plate. The other person I was with dead as well. Our waitress never came back to check on us until after we had finished eating. There was no routine checks to see how the food was if we needed anything or if we needed refills. When she finally did come up, she did bring refills, at that point I just said check, please. Needless to say I paid $30 for two meals and I left hungry. Another important detail. The restaurant was not busy. Other than my table, there were two other tables that had guests. And those other two tables the waiter/waitress was there every few minutes it seemed like. But our waitress was off in the wind for all I know.

My first time at Marco's Pizza in Sanford. What a disappointment. While the pizza tasted ok, I was left wondering what I paid $32.89 for. As you can see, there is a full 2 1/2 inches (or more) of bare crust on the outside of the pie. The box of course shows toppings piled right to the edge. I did the math, a large (14") pie has an area of 154 square inches, take away the 3 inches of bare crust and you have 95 square inches, or basically a medium pie. When you figure the percentage, there is only 62% of the pie that has toppings. Lemme see, $32.89 x 62% = $20.39 or $12.50 for bare crust. Check out the Chicken pie, can you see any chicken? Look closely. Ahhh, there it is 5 tiny pieces spread over 3 slices. The pepperoni pie was equally void of toppings @ around $2.50 per item. I count 5 bits of sausage on half a pie...count for yourself. Can you say ripoff? This will be my one and only visit to Marco's I stopped by and told the manager about my experience. Stephanie made it right. I will be happy to give them another chance. read more
