This was my go to pizza for the last few years, had not ordered in awhile so I ordered a specialty pizza and Greek salad. My first disappointment was that they no longer have their own delivery people now Door dash so the pizza was cold waiting on the delivery person to get there pick it up and deliver it to us. This is not true since no one came to our door or called our phone. So they just cancelled our order and left us hanging for over an hour. Never again. Terrible attitude and terrible service. My coworkers order @ Marco's no crust pizza and it was good we barely missed eating the crust. The cost was decent and delivery was not late. Though it was a time we had to go pick up and the location is not by HillCrest anymore but Siri will take you there so FYI it is now by the urgent care on East Main Street (lol I use land marks for directions) they have a drive thru on the side of the building (don't blink you may miss it) other than that employee was very fast and friendly I only wish they would give more coupons on pizzas with no crust read more

Pizza was delicious but the service was a huge negative..... fortunately for them lowest is one . I have eaten at Marco's in many cities but this was my first time here at this location. Placed our order went to pick it up, doors were locked. However, there were two employees in the register lobby area.... Neither offered assistance help or anything. It was only when we discovered the drive thru/pickup window on side of building that we were able to get our food. When we tried to inquire about why they didn't come to door it was made to be our fault and we were rudely cut off from trying to explain it was our first time visiting..... and from their customer service it will most likely be our last visit. read more

Ok, this is for the brand new store in Boiling Springs. This store just opened up about a week ago. We order thin crust pizza and it was good though a little to crispy. The topping were good as well. Pizza took about 10 minutes to cook. I thin it was a little better than I expected. The resultant does not have a lot of parking and is adjacent to Starbucks. read more

Let me just start by saying I've never been a huge Marcos fan. But tonight really changed me. I walked in at 9:30 pm (30 min before close) on a Tuesday and the only person in there was the manger. I asked him if he was there by himself and he told me it was him and a driver. When I said that was ridiculous he kind of just responded exactly how Marcos corporate would want him to respond. This man is exactly why restaurants are alive. I give 5 stars to this man and this man alone. TO MARCOS CORPORATE: You should be ashamed. This man(ager) made my whole order by himself. Handed it to me...told me "I think youll really like this" and I'll be damned if I didnt. It was the best Marcos pizza I ever had. And the fact that a huge chain like Marcos has there manger in there cooking pizza at 9:30 BY HIMSELF is just repulsive to me. as a professional...as a chef....if your corporate dogs will learn any new tricks.....let it be to be just a bit less greedy and ignorant. Your salaried employees should only be out there hustling if they need to be and you can tell by the energy in that store that he was exhausted and just done. But he smiled and showed me respect and made a FIRE ass pizza and cheese bread. This pizza is typical of these types of chain restaurants. It's edible and hits the spot when you just want something quick. I called in an order and they had trouble with my one syllable name which made pick up confusing and awkward. There was also some type of addict arguing over the type of pizza he ordered holding everyone up which is par for the course for Spartanburg these days. Other than the local drug problem, inattentive teenagers / young adult employees, this place isn't that bad. The order took them 16 minutes to process. The pizza is a favorite of our family, but when we walked in, there were three people total working in the restaurant. One on the phone, two in back. After a few minutes, someone came from the back to take our order, and immediately said it would take at least 35-40 minutes to prepare our food. Looking around, there was only one other table occupied in the place, so we ordered. It took at least 50 minutes to get our food. The food was fine. The experience was not. The guy who took my order was new. Fine. 12 minutes later, I got my meatball sub and antipasto salad ordered. Delivery was very fast. Unfortunately, my salad was a Greek salad with the words antipasto salad written on it. I call to get the salad remade and delivered. After they ask me to come pick it up and I refuse, they tell me it will get sent out the next time a driver comes my way. One hour later, nothing. I call to get my money refunded, and they proceed to tell me how it is to complicated because I used a credit card. If I could give no stars, I would. They couldn't care less about customer service. Philip in particular. I ordered a pizza late at night, so I tipped very generously to make up for the fact of how late it was. The pizza was prepared and on its way very quickly. I got a notification that it was delivered and when I opened the door it wasn't there. I called the store and told the girl who answered that my pizza was not delivered like it said it had been. She said she'd call her driver. I had to call again 15 mins later and she said the driver said that he was 100% sure he left it at the correct address. She said there was nothing they could do now because they were closed and the driver was going home. They didn't even offer to have the driver turn around and bring it to me. They offered a refund which I didn't want, I wanted my food but there was nothing to be done. Then a few minutes later I get a call from the driver, Philip, who said that he was absolutely sure he left it at the right place. I told him no, he didn't, because I didn't have it. He then proceeded to belittle me and say that I was wrong and that I didn't know how to put in my own address and then hung up on me. The entire experience was infuriating and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation and were extremely rude. I understand things happen and mistakes are made but there was no attempt to fix it and I ended my night by a delivery driver telling me I don't know my own address. read more

I tried to order a delivery over the phone and they were VERY rude and unprofessional. I am visiting the area for work and staying in a hotel. They refused to complete my order when I said I didn't feel comfortable with giving out my room number. I asked if they could just call me so I can go to the lobby to pick up my order and they insisted on having my room number. The man on the phone raised his voice then hung up on me. Ordered pizza and hot wings this evening. Pizza was bland but the hot wings buffalo sauce smelled weird, like it was stale. After eating a few wings, stomach started to hurt. Went up to the counter staff and complaint that their buffalo sauce may be bad. Just got blank looks and excuses. No manager present, just a group of kids running the business. We always go here for good pizza. We pick up and never have it delivered. I have never personally had a problem with service. The last time we went I had a coupon for 50% off an order over 20 dollars. For some reason the coupon would not apply on the internet and I called. They told me to just place my order and they would take it off at the store. When I got there the manager acted like since the code wouldn't work I would have to pay full price. When I explained what the code said he manually discounted my meal. He did not have to do this but better to have a happy customer than no customer. This, to me is excellent customer service and I hope others can look past minor problems and give props to a very above average pizza chain. read more

Usually we don't have a problem with this place. However, today was quite different. My family ordered food to our apartment building with instructions that the entrance was " entrance in front of church", which is across the street. Apparently, this was understood to mean that there was an apartment INSIDE of the church, which has an entirely different address than what we gave. They claimed they called our phone multiple times, but there were no missed calls or voicemails. The driver was argumentative and extremely rude, the manager just the same. The only excellent service was the immediate refund (gained after three minutes of arguing to get it). They must have lots of practice at putting in refunds if this is how they handle problems. So basically I received 2 great coupons, stating on the back of both that they can be used in conjunction with other offers. Which means things that are on sale, or other coupons including them together. So I called before hand to be sure that I was reading accurately and explained that I was ordering online so that I could gain membership points. The girl that answered the phone was no did not want to give me information incorrectly, so she handed it off to her coworker who had more experience. So he said to not pay with my debit card on the app but to pay at the window and hand him the coupons upon arrival. When I gave the coupons to the girl working at the window, she said you can't use these with other offers. I said well I called to be sure , She said she knew exactly who I talk to and that he would tell me the same thing. So she called him over to the window without me even asking to speak with him. I wanted to try Marcos for the first time. I looked up the restaurant online. It had the correct address and I called and placed my order. When I arrived 25 minutes later they said they did not have the order and asked where I got the number. I told them online. They said that number calls Greer and the order must have gone to Greer. I left and the redialed the last number in my phone. They answered and I asked what location I was calling. They confirmed east main Spartanburg. So the statement about my order going to Greer was not true. I had a number of people waiting at my house for food. Great first experience.??? read more
