We've had pizza from this location a handful of times since we moved Statesville. The first time we were iffy because they didn't seem "done" enough or cooked long enough. The other times everything has been spot-on and fantastic. Pizzas are great but the cheesy bread is my favorite. Actually have really good deals/coupons sometimes, too, that keep us coming back. This place have good pizza the problem lies with promotions they do and how they are deceiving .they have a half off promotion that really got me.they charge a high delivery fee then tell you that you must have at least a 10 dollar minimum order after the half off to deliver really .you charge a large fee for delivery then you still want a minimum for the order its suppose to be half off .really not good to get new business.sad thing the driver doesnt get that delivery fee your company does.and we are still suppose to tip on top of it.people need to know this about your company.you do have great pizza but these promotions are wrong all wrong. read more

We have been ordering pizza from this place for a very long time. It is going downhill fast. We were waiting on our pizza to be delivered and it never showed up but said it was delivered. We went driving around the neighborhood to find out if it was delivered somewhere else. They just put it on the doorstep of one of our neighbors. Their dog ended up eating the sandwich which had onions, which are bad for pets. When we called to get a solution we were put on hold for multiple times over 10 minutes and hung up on twice. We were told that they couldn't refund us the money for the sandwich and that they would only issue us a future credit. They have issued us future credits for problems in the past and they never honor them. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else than here. read more

Extra Crispy aka Burned Crust We've ordered pizza for out employees twice from Marco's and was not impressed either time. First time, I was willing to give Marco's a break. Second time unfortunately was the same results. The pizza crust is very thin which I normally like. Each time we ended up with something close to Charcoal. Thin crusts can be tricky. You want the topping to be melted but at the same time, you want a somewhat crispy crust. How do you achieve ths? Cut back on line speed and temperature to afford proper cooking without burning the produte. Each time we ordered, we picked it up. Each time, evey though we were given specific pickup times, it was not rady when promised. Would not recommend. Quality and Service is not there. read more

This is that good late night pizza spot! They are consistent with the quality of their pizza. They'll have it ready between 15-20 min which also comes with a free movie rental if you'd like to enjoy a movie at home. My recent pizza that I ordered was probably the best pizza I have EVER ordered from Marco's. It was baked perfectly, the pepperoni was crispy, fresh spinach and tomatoes. In my opinion this is better than Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Little Cesar's. Their wings are pretty decent as well. For cheap pizza this is worth it, no cardboard box taste like their competitors. read more

Tonight I ordered 3 pizzas, wings, and breadsticks from this location and DID NOT have a good experience. One of my pizzas was for a child who has a severe allergy to dairy products and specifically asked for no cheese. When we opened the box there was feta cheese on it. We called the store to explain the issue and was on hold for at least 10 minutes. I then got transferred to two different people to explain the problem and was told it was our fault but they would send another and it would take 20-25 minutes. Apparently feta cheese does not fall under the same category as "no cheese". We then waited and the pizza was still not here after 40 minutes. We then called the store and waited another 10 minutes on hold. I was then explained that it was our fault but it was on the way. Not sure what the point was to argue about the pizza when they already apologized for the mistake and agreed to send it out. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 we ordered for delivery to KOA in Statesville. A very nice man took our order and was extremely pleasant and kind. The wonderful delivery girl was a bit lost as to our site location and called us and found us immediately. Great pizza. We had the all meat pizza. Perfect sauce and large chunks of meat. I know many of the reviews for this location talk about the problems with their delivery service. While I haven't had delivery yet, their pick up is very good. When I order on-line, they estimate that my order will be ready in 15 minutes. I usually get there just after 15 minutes & my order is ready for me. However, I do have a problem with the coupon codes they have on their ads in the mail. They NEVER work. Maybe it is because they are code for a call in order? I don't know & the ads don't specify whether these coupons only apply to call in, delivery, on-line order, or pick up. I always have to look on Retail Me Not or other coupon websites to get valid codes. read more

Of the two orders Ive had from Marco's, they've both been delivered to my home. The orders were placed online which was easy. The wait time was minimal and the drivers, courteous, the prices fine. The food is decent. Ive only ordered there because they deliver salads as no one else does in the area. I've also tried a pizza, and meatball bake. I suggest trying a pizza here because although it's not my first choice restaurant for one, it could be yours. Depends on what you like! Place is terrible food was bad for a salad worst salad I ever had service was slow and online ordering was difficult. Got there and order was wrong had to go back in to get it fixed and had to wait forever. I have nothing but good things to about Marco's. I checked into my hotel after driving for 9 hours and asked about a good pizza place who delivers. Marcos was recxommended. When I called, they said that they were a little backed up due to weather, and that it would be at least an hour. I said that I was famished, but to do their best...well 40 min later, a HOT pizza and Cinnamon Bread was delivered (in the pouring rain)! I was so grateful...and The pizza was great. Medium crust that is crunchy and stands on it's own, a sauce thats not sweet but not just tomatoes either, and pepperoni that was crispy. yum! The 10 inch pie was perfect but if I had eaten all the crusts I wouldnt have been able to finish by myself. I thought the cost was good. We tried to use their web site to order a pizza. It did not work out too well. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we called to get an update. The person who answered the phone said it was "on its way." Then we called back after 1 hour and 45 minutes and they told us that the order said pickup and not delivery. We ended up cancelling the order and getting food elsewhere. Pizza is good when you actually get the crust toppers ordered. May seem petty but the crust toppers make a huge difference. Let it slide the first time, but 2nd time I called and they told me they won't give me a credit but I can bring my pizza up there and get the toppers. So...they want me to drive 10 minutes back to the store get crust toppers on a cold pizza and then eat it. No thank you. This was the second time in three orders. Was tired of Statesville's pizza chains and Marco's chain is a welcomed breath of fresh air! We like their regular crust and their pepperoni has a really good taste. Do not really care for their sub sandwiches; steak and cheese was definitely NOT a Philly cheese steak!! YUK. Some of their salads are good, not all though. I like they have a loyalty card and you get double "punches" on Mondays (maybe Tuesdays too?). After 10 punches you get a free pizza. Employees are nice too! Wish they had a seating area so we could eat our pizza hot! Some Marco's have regular restaurant style seating. (You have a choice of crust types. We stick with the 'regular' and NOT the thin or deep dish). read more
