The restaurant took my online order and I called afterwards to confirm it. They said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. When I called back after waiting an hour they said it would be two more hours. Never offered any sort of compensation or even a future deal. Manager was rude and hung up while I was speaking to her. I've always ordered from Marco's Lilburn but today I got the most rudest person that answered the phone she kept going back and forth with me... I asked her to hold on to get my glasses she hung up I called back and asked why would she hang up she said i put you on a brief hold she stated in a rude voice.... I have never been treated in such a manner from a place I've ordered from for 4 years.... I understand people have bad days but I'm a paying customer and didn't deserve what she did today... Tonight I placed an order for curbside pickup. Simple enough-or so I thought. After arriving at the scheduled time, I called and said I was outside. The employee said okay my order would be right out. He literally said, "I see you". I waited and waited. Over 10 mins later I called back inside and asked about my order. 5 mins later it came out. I explained how long I'd been waiting and the employee went inside, came back out questioning my initial call and I left feeling inconvenienced and frankly blown off after showing my phone and my 3 calls. Food was correct and tasty, but a coupon for my trouble perhaps? Customer service seems to be the exception not the norm these days. Sad read more

We decided to stop in Sunday night for some post shift eats. My husband ordered a meatball sandwich and I ordered a veggie pie. Ordering was smooth. The seating area was very clean. We were the only diners in the place but saw a steady stream of folk coming in to pick up to go orders. The in house staff were nothing but polite and hard working. I think it was 3x we got a thank you for dining in. For quickn fast food pizza Marcos is our go to chain. I forgot to take pics but the veggie pizza has all the toppings in good quantity and my husbands meatball sub looked to have a good amount of sauce and cheese. I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning but their soda machine's lemonade was really good. Usually I can't stand the 'fakex taste but i was in the mood for something caffeine free and it really hit the spot. We'll continue to patron this location. read more

I dream of my favorite Chicago-style Pizza Lou Malnati's Deep Dish Pizza. I thought I would give Marco's Pizza, a try. If I don't have deep dish pizza, then I like crispy super thin pizza, not the floppy stuff(New York Style). We ordered BBQ chicken pizza and it had a great amount of cheese on it, and sauce. Also, we ordered it online, and it was nice and easy, and you save a few bucks by doing that. They deliver, but apparently we are like 1 mile past their delivery line. So, my husband picked it up. I'm not normally a pizza chain kind of guy, but when I want a good quality cheap pizza, then it's Marcos all day. They are very consistent and their pizza topping choices are great, especially the old world pepperoni (YUM). The crust toppers are definitely a plus too. The cheesy bread is basically a medium pizza without sauce cut into strips, very cheesy, and they give you two dipping sauces of your choice. My only gripes are, one: the website ordering process is a little clumsy and they don't give you an option to pay in store with cash. Two, they always seem to have a wait once you arrive in store for pickup, especially considering the order is already paid for and they pretty much just have to hand it to you. Overall, though, it is a very good pizza for a chain and I will be back when the craving for that old world pepperoni surfaces again. read more

There are pizza places in New Tampa that outshine this one, but I'd call it one of my top 3 go-to's. The management seems good but not outstanding. They have delivered my pizza to my neighbors several times and though they always correct the mistake, they have never offered to compensate for the lost time and inconvenience that were the opposite of the reasons I had for giving them my business in the first place. Tried the Hawaiian pizza for the first time and it was a hit with my family. On a recent visit, due to the social distancing rules the curbside service was the only option for takeout. The staff member (I presume) walked up to my vehicle wearing a plain blue shirt, shorts, and flip flops to deliver my order. As the gentleman was approaching I thought surely it was a customer that happened to be walking out with his own order; only to find him at my window seconds later. He threw me off guard since he was not wearing any identifiable Marcos paraphernalia. While he seemed nice, it was not professional at all. I understand there may not be customers inside of the store during this time period but brand reputation is everything. As a patron, I still expect a high level of service and that includes a clean appearance for staff handling food. This reminds me of another visit when I dined in and saw a man and a woman wearing street clothes setting up the pizza boxes in the open dining space. Not sure what's going on with the staff criteria but it is rather strange to me. Usually they have good service and good food here, but it's no longer one of my favorite pizza restaurants. I was staying at the Ramada Inn in Temple Terrace and I saw their little ad on the nightstand, so I ordered delivery, and it was actually pretty good. $10.99 for a large two topping was reasonable. I also ordered a small Greek salad for $5.99, which was recommended by many Yelpers. I had to call to get the prices, couldn't find them online or anywhere else. I appreciated the pizza not being greasy, and very tasty. The salad was above average- I would have appreciated more tomatoes and less olives. The delivery man was kind enough to bring packets of crushed pepper, Greek dressing for the salad, and plates. I was told he would take 45 minutes to arrive, but he made it in 30. Wish I would have tipped him more. The one star reduction stems from repeating myself more than once when ordering. It was so loud in the restaurant that the lady answering the phone could barely hear me. Though she was really nice, the noise level was annoying. She also had to put me on hold twice to finish taking other customers' orders and put them on hold. I didn't mind that, but obviously she needs more help answering the phones. I still like Papa Johns more because of the garlic sauce, but Marco's gives it a good run for its money. read more

Very disappointed in this location today. Have been ordering here recently due to their pizza bowls which allow me to have pizza flavor and satisfaction without the crust/carbs. Today I'm not responding about the food (haven't eaten it yet) but about my in-store experience. I arrived and my order was ready. Upon checking it I noticed that I was given black olives when I'd ordered green. I spoke to a worker and she was going to remake it for me. Her manager was nearby and asked about it. The manager seemed reluctant for her to remake it but she conceded. The manager okayed it while standing around 4-6 other employees and she had her mask hanging off one ear. Yes she had a mask in her vicinity but it wasn't doing anything as it hung from her ear. The original girl who remade my pizza bowl left as her shift ended. A different worker was responsible for getting the food out of the oven. He had on a mask but it was under his chin - not doing anything for him either. I asked the girl at the front if she'd ask the guy who was about to touch my food if he'd put his mask OVER HIS NOSE AND MOUTH. Of course she didn't get to him in time. The manager asked the girl at the front where her hat was. The girl left it at home. Not having your hat is a problem but not wearing as mask isn't I guess. This is food service and all the people handling food here aren't wearing masks. Shameful. Trying like hell to support business and still eat out while being careful. I ordered chicken fresco pizza with parmesan crust topper... So mouthwatering good. Made on time, coupons saved me money, and the best is the richness of flavors in the sauce and chicken not dry and plenty of CHEESE! its delicious. The customer service at this location is awful!!! I called twice to order pizza and was put through to the call center to order. The person at the call center didn't seem to know what she was doing, it took at least five minutes to order a pizza. When the pizza was delivered there wasn't a credit card slip for me to sign so I called the store to make sure that the guy that delivered the pizza would get a tip. When I called I was hung up on twice! I called back for a third time & asked for a manager and the person didn't say a word just put me on hold. When the manager picked up the phone she could have cared less about me being hung up on or the driver getting a tip. They need to do something about their customer service!! read more

Wow, best pizza in Tampa? Pizza Mania up the road in WC has some of the best pizza I've ever had and I'm from Philly and my wife is from NY. We know pizza fairly well. I will say that Marcos is DEFINITELY the best pizza chain out there. It's a good pizza for sure but too many New Yorkers have set up pizza shops in Tampa to allow A chain like Marcos to take that claim. read more
