THE CHEESESTEAK SUB WAS HORRIBLE. I REPEAT, THE CHEESESTEAK WAS HORRIBLE. I literally had to chew through no less than 4 different pieces of inedible meat/gristle in a 12 inch sub. NOT GOOD. We've all had cheesesteak subs that might have had a bit of gristle. It's steak. Meat has gristle, but this sub had it throughout. It was horrible. I was so disappointed - I really wanted to take it back, and ask someone from the kitchen to take a bite. But, alas.... As someone who eats cheesesteak subs, I'm pretty lazy, so I just spit out the gross part and kept eating it. But then I thought I would write a review on Yelp about how bad it was. Ya know, like a lazy person. On a bright note, the pizza was outstanding. Stick with the deluxe pizza w/extra cheese, and you'll be happy. To the Marcos management team.... You should really think hard about offering such a sub par cheesesteak sub. Maybe switch to minute steaks, or a better cut of beef that is all meat. Just my two cents. Or, just stick to pizza. We came here for the full moon special of half price pizza when the moon is full most every month. It is very busy and a constant flow of customers arriving for mostly carry out pizza. We ate outside on their patios and only waited about 35 minutes for hot and tasty pizza and a side salad. The deluxe with full toppings was good and it is always better when eaten hot read more

I was really looking forward to my first visit to a Marcos Pizza. People told me how good it was. Also, that they had a full moon/once in a blue moon special. On the day of a full moon pizzas are half off. How can you beat that? You can imagine the place was jumping. There was plenty of staff and orders were moving quickly and efficiently. I did a carryout and the online tracking system was great. There was outdoor and indoor seating. Seemed ample. Honestly, I was very disappointed in the pizza. Something was lacking. Frankly ... This is really more of a 3.5. They offer Gluten Free Pizza and it is good, but expensive (but that's normal for places offering a GF pizza). You will pay close to $20 for a GF pizza with toppings and it's basically a small but it's worth it if you really want pizza. Their regular pizzas are fresh and delicious, from what my family tells me. We love the new location in Magnolia Plaza in The Villages. We did try the wings one night and they were disappointingly small. I wouldn't do the wings again. Definitely worth a stop by if you want pizza. read more

We've ordered numerous time from the Wildwood Marco's Pizza since they opened. Unfortunately, the last three times have not been favorable. Last night I placed an order at 4:36pm, with an estimated delivery time of 5:06pm. Using their App to track my order, it showed they were baking my order. This continued until shortly before 6pm. Numerous calls to the store were made, however each time I received the on hold message letting me know about their specials. No one ever answered. At 6:32, the delivery driver arrived with my order, which I refused. The delivery driver suggested I call the store to cancel my order. Ha. The positive : there thin crust pizza and italian sausage are the best in the villages. The negative : very disorganized people at the cash register and constant phone ringing where people are standing trying to order a pizza. Either bad training of staff or hiring the wrong people or combo of both. Phone ordering should be done only in the back not outfront !! They should have online ordering similiar to Dominos . I waited for Marcos to open for what seemed months...I should've waited longer! What you get here is he same ol thing...no better, no worse than any other local place. Their dough lacks the "yeasty" back note I prefer. WAY to much sauce on my pizza and $14 something for a 3 topping medium is easily $5 high. Ordered one small pizza and six chicken wings tonight for dinner. The wings were the smallest dried out I have ever seen in my life. Two bites each and they were gone. Time for an update & I have rated this particular Marco's another solid 5 stars. We, as Villagers are not always the easiest to please nor are we the most patient (and when you read the lesser rated reviews you'll see this clearly). Hubs and I just sat in-store for the better part of an hour and watched this already busy place explode in waves to off the chart busy. Not only was every customer handled pretty darned efficiently but Lauryn, who seems to be here every time we are, was, as usual, pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful to all who walked through the door - EVEN THE GRUMPY ONES. Lauryn is a true asset to this business and I hope her employers recognize her for her diligence as well as her amazing attitude. In fact she holds three of these stars all by herself! The rest of the team was working like a well-oiled machine (we were at the table closest to the kitchen so could see and hear) and they were churning out pizzas, wings, calzones in impressive numbers. Went to this restaurant just after It opened and had a great pizza ! I just loved the pepperoni and how it curled up and was crispy. It had a wonderful taste ! I have been there twice now and each time it has changed and not for the better. First they are using a totally different pepperoni with a flat taste, you can see the original pepperoni on the web site which they still use to advertise. When you get double pepperoni they now say they layer the cheese pepperoni so that you never really know if you got what they charged you, plus the lower never really cooks the same. They charged a high price which I was willing to pay but now it tastes like papa johns or Little Cesars . No need to return . read more

So I ordered theirs in advance to be picked up right at 11:00 a.m. when they open and picked up one the same day to try it out. It was delicious! Both my husband and I were pleased.
