Pizza is okay if you ask for extra sauce. It is reasonably priced. My biggest pet peace is they can't seem to ever slice the pizza all the way through. When you pull a piece out of the box it always tears because they don't slice it properly and it makes a mess. If you read my last reviews of this place, you know it's a go to for me! Earlier this year things changed! Not seeing old familiar faces, lunch menu changed not for the better, and they took the napkin dispenser off the table (you need more than one for pizza!). My biggest disappointment is the lunch menu! I almost weekly would get soup or salad and one slice. Now it's 2 slices or soup and salad. Many of us have mentioned it but to no avail. Last time I went I got the antipasta salad ... same house salad with dome rolled cold cuts... again disappointed! My wife and I were looking forward to lunch at Little Joey's after a good dining experience a few weeks ago. It was lunch time on a Monday and the place was not at all busy...but we stood by the door waiting to be acknowledged by anyone. There was no sign indicating diners should seat themselves, so we stood there waiting.. A couple of servers seemed to have seen us but we didn't receive a cursory "please seat yourselves", or "I'll be right with you". Nothing at all! After waiting for about 5 minutes of no acknowledgment, we walked out and drove down to Piesano's instead. I guess they're doing good enough business where they can afford to turn customers away for this meal...and possibly future meals. Disappointing! Needless to say, we won't be back anytime soon...if ever. read more

We have been going here for over 20 years and it never disappoints. They have the best pasta fagioli ever! I tried to duplicate the recipe at home and just can't get it right, so I stopped trying! The servers are all so attentive and helpful with suggestions when I can't make up my mind. This restaurant is like stepping back in time. It's a neighborhood place where regulars are known by name. I ate here with some family when I came into town. I tried the chicken francese and it was very tasty. First of all, it's a huge portion but it was well seasoned and delicious. We first loved this restaurant but after getting our favorite pizza a few weeks ago we were very disappointed. They have a Super Deluxe we always ordered however apparently they have decided to cut back on the toppings. We thought maybe it could be because they were very busy so today we decided to give them another chance. Took my wife here a couple weeks back for lunch. The place seemed dated, because the furniture was worn, as was the signage and faux brick wallpaper. The booth we sat in seemed made for oversized customers, because the booth's table had me over extending to reach for my plate. We ordered from the dinner menu and tried the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which arrived hot, but lacking in cheese and the chicken francese, which was alright. Our server was cordial, but failed to return to check on whether we liked the food or refill our drinks in timely manner. The lunch menu stated no refills, which led me to think they were trying to save money even for those people ordering from the dinner menu. The first time we came here we got pizza. It's was very impressive. Being from the north east it's hard to find good pizza in fla, but they definitely nailed it. The next time we went back we just got some subs. They were also very good and very reminiscent of a northern sub shop. I had the ham and cheese and my girl had the meatball. Both very good. So we decided the next time we went back to get an entrée. Well those were not so good. I had lasagna and she had stuffed shells. The sauce was bitter and not very flavorful, and it just didn't taste right. While we will definitely go back for pizza and subs we will not be getting any entrees again. After finding this place on Yelp while we were driving to my in-laws we phoned in an order for a pepperoni, mushroom and olive pie (my favorite combo). It was ready 20 minutes later and when we picked it up I added a couple cannoli's and it was not an issue. We got the pizza home 10 minutes later and it was perfect! Still hot, the toppings were plentiful and the flavor was delicious...I wish they had added some red pepper flakes in the box, but we found some at my in-laws. 42 of us who live in Oak Run's neighborhood of Laurel Oaks had Father's Day dinner here (a few days before Father's Day) The service was quite good especially considering that there were 42 of us. My lasagna wasn't quite temperature warm enough, but the staff took care of that problem. Ok here's the deal being from Chicago which I told her when we ordered a pick up 16" C P M P thin crust pizza it was great except the soggy crust no soggy crust in chicago. Need to put some corn meal in the bottom of the pan just toss a hand full and spread it equally. It will absorb the liquid. Just try it you will have crunchier better crust trust me. Great neighbor restaurant with friendly staff. Immediately felt comfortable in the booth. It was a busy night with a full house. The young waitress was smiling and pleasant. The menu surprised me with numerous pasta chicken, beef and pork entrees. I order the creamy tomato sauce chick re n on pasta. It was delicious, more than I could eat, had leftovers the next pay. I was debating on posting this but it has bothered me. I was in last week with my husband. I kept noticing a woman making weird movements that caught my attention. Finally I heard her tell the server there was a large cockroach that she caught, the server said no it's a water bug. A water bug is a cockroach.... Look it up. The lady never made a scene or anything!!! Later she got the bill and I heard the server say 15% was taken off. Only 15%?!?! There's a large bug where someone was eating!?! Possible infestation of bugs if they're so calm about it... Should've given her a meal for free it was just one person enjoying her meal and time to be bothered by a large cockroach. Very disappointed in this place. Horrible owner or manager to have done that. They should've done more in my opinion. read more

The chicken francaise was great, the chicken Marsala my dad swears is the best he's ever had (and he lives in NJ) and my mom's pizza was great - thin crust, not soggy at all. A great little spot.
