Do they realize customers don't like pushing a cart around? Do some data analytics on that for customer experience. Not to mention, the carts take up literally the whole aisle. And don't get me started on those stupid things with other products on it within the aisle that you have to maneuver around -- I think they have enough space on the shelves since most of the time it's empty... While I poke fun at the empty shelves, I do feel like this giant eagle at least has more stuff and it's bigger in nature. While it's not the greatest grocery store in the world, I'll take my shopping experiences here rather than the Avon Lake one.

Staff is friendly, however there are times they cannot be found. The biggest downfall is the self checkout. It's a mess. Put too many items away too fast you have to wait. Scan too fast? Wait. Move the wrong way? Wait. Now, this wouldn't be a problem...if there was a checker to help. But they're never there when I am. So you wait FOREVER. Time is my most precious expediture and I often skip Meijer to avoid spending it.

I know it has been a little bit since the change, but it was a little sad to see. They still offer grocery pick up for those who prefer to pick up their items. Make sure the cashier doesn't miss scanning anything or you will look and feel like a criminal as you try to make your exit. This really loud alarm goes off and barking dogs come out of this dark hidden room. Helicopters, snipers and swat units surround the building and the store is temporarily shut down. If you just believed all that you should probably be careful what you trust and take literal on the internet. Lol. Totally joking but it does suck when you're in a hurry and they're busy so you have to go back to the end of the line and wait to pay for your missed item. Or you can do what I did. I rudely jumped the entire line and said "excuse me I have to pay for this because you forgot to scan it." Aww well if you upset them, they'll do better next time. Lol Other than the receipt police system I really have no issues with this wholesale club. And just to clarify, it's not the receipt police employees I have an issue with. They're just doing their job and they're always very polite. I just think it's a stupid and annoying setup.

Customer service rep,…read more Have been a daily shopper for my needs for the last two years at this location and am about fed up with the service from a few of your employees that always seem to have an issue when I go through those lines at customer service. If it's such a problem being polite and doing your job without rolling your eyes , breathing heavy, and the redness on the regular, from the last who is named Tiny. If she doesn't like her job then she should quit, and if it's just a personal thing and she hates everyone. Regardless. If her attitude does not shape up, I'll find a new store to do all my shopping at. I live literally right next door, but it is not even worth the convenience of being so close to have to get the attitude. I manage a local restaurant and deal with customers that are sometimes hard regularly, and never is it okay to give these attitudes. Your company should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this attitude to go on so much. I have spoken to someone about he before and they say that's just how she is..... Maybe it's time you change that and ask your staff to start being polite and just do their jobs. You have until new years to fix this issue or I'll shop elsewhere.
