When we bought an older home, we knew it would need repairs, and finding the right service provider felt daunting. After receiving a flyer for Beaver Heating & Air Inc., we decided to give them a try. Beaver sent a technician to inspect our system, and after that first inspection, we enrolled in their maintenance program. Twice a year, they serviced our heating and air system, took photos, and provided a detailed checklist. Their inspections also gave us a helpful estimate of how long our old system would last. During our most recent inspection, Leo, our Beaver technician, let us know that our system was nearing the end of its life. He offered to have a team member come out to discuss options for updating our existing system or replacing it with a new one. A few days later, Marlon, the Beaver systems specialist, arrived and took the time to explain the available system options, including the pros and cons of each. He also showed us detailed installation photos and explained the expected timeframe. Once we chose the best system for our needs, Marlon contacted Mike, the installation manager, to schedule the appointment. We opted for a new Trane heating and air system, which was installed just a few days later. The installers, Dustin and Adrian, were efficient, respectful of our home, and completed both the indoor and outdoor installation perfectly. The state and county inspector even commented that it was a perfect installation. We highly recommend Beaver Heating & Air Inc. to anyone looking for professional, reliable, and high-quality service.

Mark was prompt and came over to my house for an inspection to be able to provide me with an estimate. My system is two 3-ton AC and furnace units for my 3700 sq ft 2 story home. He mentioned how inefficient the system was. The system was 23 years old and was inconsistent with the distribution of heat and AC. We froze during the winter and stayed hot during the summer. Come to find out when this house was built in 2002, the developer's contractor slapped the system together with inefficient ducting runs and improper plumbing of the copper pressure lines. We were amazed at the shoddy work and how the county inspector passed the work. Anyway, Mark provided us an estimate for a 3-zone York system with two of them upstairs and one being downstairs. This allowed the house to have separate areas controlled by 3 thermostats throughout the house to ensure each area had consistent comfortable heating and AC. Mark's estimate was very well priced beating out other estimates. He was very meticulous and very attentive to detail. After living in this house for 23 years, we cannot believe how much this system evenly distributed the heat. We were unable to run the AC due to the cold weather. However. I'm sure it will perform well this summer. If you want an honest person who is knowledgeable, skilled, and can beat the competition, Alpine is your company. And stay away from those big corporate outfits that upsell and normally don't tell you the truth to make a sale.

Knowing how hard it is to succeed as a business on a review site(Like Yelp) I knew that this company would be a good business to deal with but Bryan and Alexander exceeded my expectations. Last summer I installed a 36000 BTU mini split system with 3 ductless head units and in a rush to cool my house in the heat of the summer I ended doing a sloppy job and making a lot of mistakes. I wanted to have a reputable company come out and recharge my system and check on my mistakes and that's when I contacted At your service. When Bryan came out he saw all the hazards from my sloppy install and seemed much more concerned with fixing them for the safety of my home and family rather then finding problems that he could charge me to fix. To cut costs he recommended some things to pick up at the store before his technician came out. The last thing Bryan said to me was "I don't want to just recharge your system and leave it as is, If I do work on it I feel responsible for it even though I didn't install it, I want to fix it up to my standards." He basically told me that for the same price of just recharging my system, he was going to reinstall it to a professional standard. When his tech, Alexander, came out he kept talking about how great of a guy Bryan was and what a great company he worked for. He went above and beyond in every way. And after getting to know him I found out that he was a worship leader at a local church. If Bryan reads this I'd like to let him know from business owner to business owner that he has a great employee with a great work ethic. Thank you At your Service! I will recommend you guys to everyone I know.

1 Star…read more Unfortunately, I have to leave Absolute Comfort Heating and Air a one-star review based on my experience and the results of the work performed. I want to be fair and say that the individual employees and installation crew I dealt with were pleasant and professional. My issue is with the overall recommendations, diagnosis, and outcome. I originally contacted Absolute Comfort because my upstairs was not receiving adequate airflow and would not cool properly. My main goal was simply to solve that problem correctly. Cost honestly wasn't a major issue for me--I was willing to spend the money necessary if it resulted in the problem actually being fixed. Based on the recommendations I received, I paid $7,824 for the furnace/blower installation and another $2,250 to replace three duct runs, for a total of $10,074. Invoice #67040526.pdf Unfortunately, after spending $10,074, my original upstairs airflow/cooling problem is essentially unchanged. That's ultimately why I'm leaving one star. At different points throughout this process, it has felt like we were trying different things to see what might work rather than definitively identifying the underlying problem first. I was initially advised that replacing the furnace/blower and modifying the attic ductwork should help. Now that those things haven't solved the problem, I'm being presented with much more substantial solutions involving potentially creating a separate system for the upstairs. Had the underlying airflow/design problem been identified from the beginning, I would have much rather put my money toward the correct long-term solution instead of spending over $10,000 first. I'm particularly disappointed with the $2,250 ductwork portion. After personally going into the attic, I found areas where the outer jacket/insulation around some connections appears opened with fiberglass exposed, along with areas where some of the flex duct appears tightly bent or compressed around framing. I also cannot personally verify how the inner duct-to-collar connections underneath the insulation were mechanically secured and air-sealed. Their written scope states that obvious and accessible duct leaks would be sealed with "mastic or tape" and also references an airtight plenum transition. Invoice #67040526.pdf I want to be very clear that I am not an HVAC professional, so I am not claiming that what I'm seeing in the attic is necessarily improper, defective, or a code violation. These are simply things that raised concerns for me after looking at the work myself, particularly given the amount paid and the continued lack of airflow upstairs. The applicable city inspection is also still pending, and I understand that the inspector will have the opportunity to evaluate the permitted installation and relevant areas. I intend to let the appropriate inspector make any determination regarding whether the work meets applicable requirements. If the inspection identifies any issues or required corrections, I will update this review accordingly. Likewise, if the inspection confirms that these areas are acceptable, I will be fair about updating that as well. I also wish I had been presented with more equipment choices. The furnace installed is an 80% AFUE, single-stage furnace with an ECM blower. Invoice #67040526.pdf While there's nothing inherently wrong with that configuration, I would have appreciated being presented with higher-tier equipment and more comprehensive system-design options from the beginning, especially since my priority was solving the problem rather than finding the least expensive solution. The most frustrating part is that I wasn't trying to do this cheaply. I wanted to do it correctly. If I had been told upfront that properly separating the upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems was the appropriate long-term solution, I would have seriously considered putting my money toward that rather than first replacing equipment and ductwork that ultimately didn't resolve my original complaint. As of right now, I've spent $10,074 and haven't gotten anywhere with the primary issue I originally hired Absolute Comfort to solve. I have reached out to the company privately in hopes of reaching a fair resolution, particularly regarding the $2,250 ductwork charge and determining the correct long-term solution. I am absolutely willing to update this review if Absolute Comfort makes the situation right. Again, the individuals I interacted with were pleasant. Unfortunately, I have to judge the company based on the results of the recommendations and work I paid for, and more than $10,000 later, my original upstairs cooling and airflow problem remains unresolved.
