Really appreciate Mark to be able to come out on short notice to repair the A/C in my house. Air had suddenly stopped coming out of the upstairs (where all the bedrooms are) but was working normally downstairs. I had already replaced the damper motor to the upstairs zone but that did nothing. Realizing that this may require opening up the plenum and/or duct system, I figured I should get a pro in here. I initially went with another company, but their technician wasn't able to figure out the problem and instead said he would need to come back at a later date. I was willing to make an appointment right then but he said someone from the office would call later that day. Fair enough. But since i'm writing this on Ecology's page and not a competitor's page, you can safely assume that I never heard from them again. So I reached out to Ecology the day before triple digits rolled into town. He said he could squeeze me in the next day and showed up on time, ready to go. He listened to what I had to say and within 30 min had figured out the issue (an insulation blockage on the zone duct) and the just like that the a/c was flowing freely again. When that repair didn't fix the systemic issue due to no fault of their own(ancient machine) his dream comped me the repair for a replacement for a discount. We hired Ecology Air Innovations to move our AC unit from the back of our house to our side yard. It ended up costing $7000, took approximately a month to get done after contacting them, and we have had to have the unit serviced less than a year later. You can get the same work done for a lot less and not have to suffer their inflated prices and unprofessionalism. I reached out to get an itemized invoice for my records since ours only had a total price without a cost breakdown. Mark sent it with snarky notes, attacks on my intelligence, and name calling embedded in the invoice that I need to use in the records for my home run business. I will include photo below but the invoice states: "Included in Above estimate!! for idiots who can't read." "We obviously didn't use the one you ran for your pool equipment." "The listed below is the itemized cost for whatever "project manager" is to ignorant to recognize from the previous invoice." He also appears to have been confused or just made up cost amounts up because the first itemized invoice sent to me had our electrical work at less than half of the actual cost which I corrected him on in text and then was sent an updated copy with the correct price. read more

Mark arrived to my residence promptly. He diagnosed the problem with my furnace. It was due to a faulty thermostat; therefore, I did not have to pay the service fee of $49. My A/C was replaced a few years ago and it was working properly but I wanted routine maintenance. Mark was professional and punctual. He recommended cleaning the condenser which was done. Very smooth process from beginning to end. I replaced my entire 28 year old system including ductwork and the system was installed in just one day. There were a couple glitches with defective parts but replacement was quick and easy. I keep waiting for a large electricity bill with my increased use compared to previous years, but the new system is so much more efficient. My bill is substantially less. If you're looking for AC repair or general maintenance, look no further than Ecology Air and Innovations. My AC stopped working during Sacramento's 100 degree days. I was desperate to get someone out and they were able to have a tech come out within a day! Their estimate fee is only $50 which is waived if you use them for repairs. I called 8 other companies and they had non refundable estimate fees of $90+ and the fee didn't go towards the cost of the job either! On the day of service, Jake arrived about 20 minutes early which was perfect. He diagnosed the problem quickly and then showed me exactly what wasn't work and what needed to be replaced. He had the needed part on his truck and got my AC back up and running. The entire appointment only took about 30 minutes. Woohoo! My furnace stopped working so I looked for a heating and air conditioning company near me. I call Ecology Air Innovatioins and explained my problem. The owner Mark came out the same day. He discovered a malfunctioning gas valve. The furnace and air conditioner was ore than 16 years old. Mark said he could order the part but it might time some time due to the old furnace. The gas valve was very expensive and Mark pointed out that there were other parts on the furnace equally expensive. I thought about my old equipment and I decided to replace the heat and air system. An appointment was made to install the system. The workers arrived at 8:00AM and the job was finished at about 3:30PM. I was very pleased with the quick service I received and I appreciated the workers. There were pleasant and answered all my questions about the new thermostat. I decided to go with Ecology Air Innovations after my 33 old HVAC system crapped out on me. They installed a brand new Trane two stage heat pump, variable speed air handler, and all new ducts. I had been looking into Trane equipment because, while a little more expensive, I wanted to go with something reliable and Trane is one of the best. I received multiple quotes on that type of equipment and Ecology Air Innovations beat everyone else's price by a mile. Mark, the owner of the company, initially responded to my request and responded back very quickly. He came out and gave me the estimate the next day.
