Area of refuge behind these doors

Haven't been to the movies in years and decided to see the new "Twisters" film. I assume there are 17 theaters since we were in #17. Pro Tip: If you go and can't find screen 17? Don't look over by screen #16, it's on the other side, at the end of the #1-7 hall. Theater 17 has the Ultrascreen DLX, which, to be honest, I'm too old to tell the difference. Sure the screen is bigger, but placing speakers throughout the house was a waste on me. The leather reclining seats are old and worn out, in desperate need of reupholstering. The heater in mine didn't work, but since it's July and it didn't feel like the a/c was even on, it didn't much matter. The concessions were great but pricey! $17 for popcorn and a big drink is ludicrous. Bet your arse we jumped on the free refills! Very disturbing that there is a need for three armed, vested security enforcers in the lobby. One of the young ushers tried to explain how I should feel safer. I was in this game too many years and know what's really going on. Just didn't have the heart to lay the truth on her. I believe we're going to become members and check out the rewards as well as promotions, such as Value Tuesdays and matinee viewings. 07/24

I don't like how they changed their prices. They also don't give free popcorn for members anymore .

I love this movie theater! They offer great prices (they offer a military discount), $5 movie Tuesdays, and the theater rooms always seems to be pretty clean. I love that they have a rewards program for members too. I got a free soda for my birthday which was unexpected and nice! The staff are always extremely friendly too. The only reason why I knocked this down a star was because there was one incidence where I ordered the pretzel nuggets and they gave them to me completely stale and hard as a rock. You could tell that they had been sitting out for quite some time. I do want to mention though that when I took them back to the counter, they made me a fresh batch of new pretzel bites with no complaints. Great customer service! This will continue to be our "go to" movie theater! Other perks - A bar (which my husband enjoys) Reclining seats

Marcus remains a fine theater and I'm very find of their Flex Plus subscription (I hope they keep it as I remember them ending their previous club fifteen years ago and feeling very disappointed). The service and atmosphere are top notch and the classic snack bar is pretty good too. But I'm very disappointed by their niche pizzeria. Greg Marcus, if you're reading this, $25 for the pizza (that was not even equal to a supermarket product) is too much.

A Girlfriend and I saw 'Like a Boss' today and really enjoyed the movie. There are no dull moments and lots of laughter throughout this film. Tiffany Haddish did great portraying her character! It's the perfect movie to see with your BFF!

Every time we've come, regardless of day/time, all the machines look like theyve never been cleaned

Review update: While on crutches post hip surgery, we arrived much earlier than normal to accomodate my slower than normal speed. We were told we were 15mins too early to enter the main lobby and meeded to wait, standing, in the entrance where you buy tickets. I asked if we could at least go in and sit in the lobby given the circumstances and was denied. So, I stood for 15mins on my crutches in the entrance way until we were allowed to enter the lobby. I am the first person to recognize rules are in place for a reason but I also understand there are extenuating circumstances at times which call for a bit of compassion to the unique situation. Sure, I could have stayed home but I had been stuck in my bedroom for 6 weeks and desperately wanted to get out of the house and thought a movie would be a nice change of scenery where I could sit/lay back as needed. Since this incident, my husband and I have continued coming to this theater because it's the closest one to our house and we enjoy seeing movies. However, every time we visit the soda machines are deplorable and look as if they haven't been cleaned in days, or longer and the countertops are equally as sticky and gross.

    Free popcorn night!

Why won't Marcus Theatres give the prices of their movies. Even the phone automation doesn't reveal the prices.

I had heard that people in theaters were singing along loudly to the music and I wanted to avoid that at all costs. I also didn't want to sit near anyone so I wasn't distracted. I liked being able to see the status of seating and tickets sales online and the ability to buy my ticket that way - but wasn't too happy about the service charge I had to pay to do so. Anyways, I got to the theater a few minutes before the posted start time. I waited at the ticket window only to find out that I could go right up to the ticket taker and they would scan my e ticket. Lesson learned. When I got to the theater, I was the ONLY person there. PERFECT. Unfortunately, a bunch of ladies came in right before the previews started and talked loudly through the entire preview screening. I guess that OK as I wasn't watching the previews - I just kept playing on my phone until the movie started. Once the movie started, they shut up and kept quiet the whole time. For those that don't know - Wicked (part 1) is 2 hours and 40 minutes run time - plus the previews. I have a chronic hamstring issue and quickly found out that these seats were not good for that pain. I spent the WHOLE time squirming and readjusting my sitting position as I never found a good way to sit. Yet another reason no one was sitting near me as I would have drove them nuts. In the future, I don't know if I'd come to see a movie here again. I know that Crosswoods has leather recliners and I am able to sit comfortably in them. I had considered seeing Wicked there - but there times/seating was not attractive. The movie experience itself was great. No complaints about picture or sound. The movie kept me engaged and I only thought about how long I'd been there a couple times and was tempted to check my watch - but I did not. However, by the time the movie ended, I was about at the end of my attention span and ability to sit any longer. The e ticket option - now that I know that I can skip to the ticket taker - is quite convenient. Parking was good at that time of day but I know it can be challenging for more popular show times. Food and drink prices are insane so I brought my own bottle on Diet Mt Dew in. Restrooms were good and I somehow managed not to have to use the facilities during the movie - but I sure needed it as soon as the movie was over. Again - location good. I find it easier to manage than going to Easton Town center which is equally near my house. So if you're looking for a nice, casual movie theater with no bells or whistles in seating, this is your place. It just might not be the place for me again, unless somehow my hamstring magically heals. Doubtful since it's been problematic for almost 10 years.

We've had plenty of good experiences here, and the employees have always been friendly and helpful. The one thing keeping it from five stars is the number of fees that can get added when purchasing tickets. Going to the movies is already getting expensive, and seeing additional charges during the ticket-buying process can be frustrating. Overall, though, we really like this theater and continue to come back because of the great service and overall experience. Cut down on some of those ticket fees and this would easily be a five-star review!

We…read morebought six reserved seats, F11-F16, and spent about $135 before also buying popcorn, drinks, and Spider-Man buckets. When we got inside, five boys were sitting in our seats. AMC staff walked into the theater, looked at them, and came back out without checking their tickets or even speaking to them. We were told staff did not want to "cause a scene," so they made all six of us leave instead and gave us refunds and vouchers. The worst part was that a mall security officer later approached us in the lobby and said nobody had contacted him. He told us he would have gone inside and removed the people from our seats. By then, we had already been refunded and the night was ruined. I appreciate the refund, but AMC should have enforced the assigned seating and contacted security. All six of us dressed up, made plans, and were excited to celebrate my birthday, only to have our time completely wasted.

Got to go and visit here with family and loved the layout and atmosphere!…read more Lots of different areas to hang out in and sit. Looking for a cabana style spot for you and some friends? Got it. A quiet corner to have a drink and relax? Yup. A main open area to be around groups of people? Check! We loved walking around and exploring the different areas and seeing the views! The flight of ciders was a treat and we enjoyed trying 4 different ones and comparing which we liked best! (Lemon ginger was a BIG hit!) The staff were all friendly and helped narrow down our choices. There's a separate part of the property where they hold weddings and events, which would be beautiful! Looked like they also have food trucks and music in the tap house regularly too. Looking forward to visiting again when I am back in town, gotta try the new seasonal flavor!

Dylan had wanted to show me how beautiful this place has become and also wanted me to meet Matt. Im certainly glad I did! Matt spent some time with us and let us explore the property. Matt is great! Retreat21 is lucky to have him as we found the landscaping to be wonderful. From the patios, to the right amount of gravel on the road, to their gorgeous, landscaped pond and event center and OH! can we mention how they incorporated a 100+ old oak to serve as an altar in their woodland sanctuary. Perfection!!! There is a large guest cabin that can be rented, plus seven other ones and a handful of geodomes. Each cabin has a private hot tub and fire pit. The geodomes just have a fire pit. At the front of the property is a large barn that has been converted to a tasting room. They have several house made craft wines and ciders. You can take those out to enjoy on one of three nice sized patios... one has hanging swings! They serve charcuterie, boards, and flatbreads... I'm on the weekends. They have food trucks. They also have yoga on the weekends that you can do in their vineyard -pretty cool along with other events This is a great addition to the Columbus area and Marysville. I think it's gonna be very successful. Definitely worth the trip to visit.
