Really great Mexican fusion restaurant, featuring delicious meals and fast, friendly service located in the Rio Plaza Shopping district, by the food mall. The restaurant itself is a modern looking building with large space and features original cocktails and amazing menu, we came here for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, they do not their lobster for brunch, only with the lunch menu or dinner menu after 2:30pm. However, the brunch menu has more than enough to make us happy. The menu has a variety of traditional and innovative deconstructed Mexican dishes, including omeletes, chilaquiles (Mexican dish with meat, chile, salsa, cheese, and tortilla strips), pancakes and enchiladas and tacos. I got the shredded beef omelette (Trincheras) and it was very tasty. We also ordered the salmon omelette, seafood omelette and a chilaquiles all which were made perfectly and delicious. They also provide free papaya fruit appetizer and freshly squeeze juices which is nice. We were very impressed with this restaurant and definitely want to come back for the lobster dish. Service is friendly and fast and the restaurant was full with a 20 minute wait, but there are coffee shops and stores nearby to walk around in. Price may be a little higher than the average Mexican restaurant in Tijuana, but for Los Angelinos, expect to spend about half of what you'd normally pay, maybe more. The breakfast menu has an interesting spin on traditional staples yet, I was willing and with the server's orientation I decided on the Omelette with chicharrón prensado. On a different occasion I took a couple of friends and they too were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed ambiance, the friendly, profesional staff and the food was just right. Came into town very early and groggy so I felt a little underdressed in a tshirt and jeans. Most everyone was dressed office casual or nicer. Host was polite and friendly, we were greeted and sat quickly. Server brought our drinks quickly. A tray of pan dulce was brought to us to pick from a variety of pan which I thought was a nice treat (there is a cost associated with this). Our server brought out another tray a moment later with samples of items we can add to an omelette. He was polite and helpful as this was our first time here. A small bowl of fruit was served pre meal, another nice treat. Our meal came out quickly. My mushroom omelette was delicious and the mini side of chilaquiles was a nice touch. Bean were good. I was looking for something calm, not too fancy but not run down either. It blew my expectations away. The taste of the food is probably some of the best I've had in a long time combined with the service which made the difference in pairing the right drinks with the right food. We originally came here because I saw that their lobster had great reviews and my husband wanted to try them. Unfortunately they didn't start serving lobster till about after 2:33 PM so we weren't able to try it. Although the service and the food was amazing. This is a little hidden gem they give you an appetizer of a plate of fruit and also fresh cooked up on Tuesday. All of it was just amazing. We both loved our food. He ordered the shrimp enchiladas and I ordered the steak and eggs which has a side of chili Quiles and I scarfed it all down. Service was amazing everything was Nice and clean. The food is delicious and you can be adventurous with unusual choices. I had an octopus and shrimp omelette that was delicious and came with a small oaxacan tamale and other tasty sides. The service was on point and they show you samples of the food steakhouse style. The place is relatively small and cozy, but eclectic and with a chill ambiance. Great place for Sunday breakfast/brunch. The portions are large and very flavorful. The omlette with accompanying chilaquiles was very satisfying. Had the omlette with half shrimp and half pork. I highly recommend getting it with shrimp, not because the pork was bad, it was very tasty, but because the shrimp was so well seasoned and paired perfectly with the chilaquiles. The meal started with a complimentary apple turnover amuse bouche followed by a fruit, granola, creme plate that was more fun than tasty. They have a large selection of juices and the waiter brought over a large tray to demonstrate the meat selections for the enchiladas. But I was already sold on the place before we walked in. We had a brief wait outside (we were told 20 minutes but it ended up being 10) and a hostess came out with a tray and offered everyone coffee while we waited. I was visiting Tijuana with family and friends. We live in San Diego and take trips there often! Decided to try something different and chose this restaurant based off of its wonder's reviews. Once we arrived, they sat us immediately. Excited to enjoy the food, we order right away. My uncle's salmon comes out raw, we notified our waiter Pablo that this didn't look appetizing. He refused to send it back and instead offered a Togo box. Regardless of his rude response, we still assumed it would be taken off of the check. On another note, after our food had arrived, I had to remind our Pablo about my drink not coming. Yet another fifteen minutes pass, still no drink. It wasn't until my third request that I received it and with no apology. As if our experience this far had not been enough to form a negative opinion... we waited thirty minutes for our desert to come. We tried flagging down Pablo to tell him to cancel our order but it was like he was ignoring us? Finally, we get our check. The salmon is STILL on the receipt. At this point, Pablo knew we were disappointed with the service but he proceeded to argue that there was nothing he could do. I've never seen such lack of accountability in a server to the extent that I had to pull a Karen and get the manager involved. To make matters worse, the manager agrees with Pablo and says we must pay for the raw salmon that we didn't touch. We left the restaurant dissatisfied and hungry. Please do yourself a favor and put your money into a business that deserves it. read more

Wow just wow! I wandered in here looking for some lunch and was immediately seated and taken care of. My waiter went the whole 9 yards even though it was only me. All the silverware and all the glasses and even though I didn't speak much Spanish, he did his best to explain what he could to me. I got the mackerel omelette and it was amazing.
