Let them know I'd be coming after work (literally told them I get off at 7:15 in Elgin) she said sounds good. Yesterday I get there at 7:45 and they were gone! No one was there. Called and sent them a fb message. Not once did anyone mention they stop taking walk in at 7:30pm. I drove 25 min each way. Gas is around $5 a gallon. Their response was even crazier. Blaming being short staffed on Sunday but that was irrelevant. Then also told me I have to pay for new jewelry even if it is their fault on sizing. I wanted to love them so bad. The shop is so cute and the girls are sweet. But the lack of communication is ridiculous. Especially since I messaged them before 7:30pm yesterday to say I'm coming!

I spent several hours looking for a trustworthy piercing shop in my area, and finally exhaled when I found Electric Tattoo Parlor! I scheduled an appointment online with Ian for about a week out. I arrived to my appointment on time and Ian was there to welcome me! It was very clean inside and I appreciated that piercings are done in a private room in the back. Ian walked me through the whole process and showed me how everything is sterilized before the piercing. He quickly put me at ease! Ian did a great job with my nose piercing and walked me through aftercare. I was able to get everything I needed for aftercare at the shop. He also has you come back 2-4 weeks after the piercing for a checkup and to swap out to a shorter post! The fact that they have you come back to ensure the piercing is healing well shows that they actually care about the quality of their work. I only had my piercing yesterday, but I LOVE it and I'm so happy with my experience and how it turned out. I have already recommended Electric Tattoo to several friends and will DEFINITELY go back whenever I want another piercing!

So we came back about an hour or so later and ended up having to still wait a little bit but, they have a large, comfortable, and very clean waiting area! They also have water bottles available to customers, which I think is smart at any tattoo shop. Everyone was super nice. They run the facility very professionally. By the time the piercer got there, he had a few people waiting other than us but was great about taking his time with my friend. Chris was very nice, professional and extremely clean. He made sure to ask my friend what exactly he wanted and it was quick and painless and affordable! I am loyal to my tattoo artist but if I ever needed somewhere new to check out I would definitely go back. I plan on returning to that piercer to get my nose done! So if you're looking for a nearby trustworthy tattoo shop, definitely check them out. I'll share a few pictures of the waiting area.
