Even though one coworker likes to use them for our corporate vehicles, FOR SHEER CONVENIENCE (since they are 2 blocks from our office), the rest of the employees remain skeptical, and are consistently overcharged for unnecessary work. They are reluctant to give estimates, and always manage to "find" more things wrong with the company cars, especially since this review has been posted. Recently, I needed new brake pads for my front tires. To save some money, I picked them up at an auto parts store and brought them in. They said they would change them. Later that day, I got a call saying I needed new rotors as well. I asked how much everything would be, and I was told $160. For parts and labor for changing out brake pads and supplying and installing rotors, it seemed a little high, but I had no reason not to trust them. Just to compare, I went online, and saw that rotors with a 2-year warranty were only $31 a piece. Feeling a little worried, I called back within 5 minutes to confirm the price was for everything, and I was told, no just the rotors themselves, no labor!! $160 versus $62. I asked if I could purchase the rotors and bring them in the next day, and they said it was too late - they were already installed. Five minutes later and I was screwed. I called Mazda to see how much rotors were, and was told that they were, in fact, about $80 a piece, but if another shop installed them, there was no warranty. That's just great. I asked what the likelihood was that an auto repair shop would have them lying around, and I was told it was highly unlikely. So if they were actually factory rotors, like they claimed they were, they wouldn't just be hanging around unless they were an ordering mistake or sheer luck (sorry, doubtful). I felt very taken advantage of. When I told them money was tight and I didn't know I would be able to pay, I was told not to worry, pay when I could, and they wouldn't bother me about it. I picked up my car and found out the credit card I don't use a lot was expired, again I was reassured to give them a call when I could pay. How ironic they called me the very next morning to get a new credit card number from me. A coworker managed to get the price down, when they wouldn't do a thing for me. Which helped. But sadly, I won't be back.

I have little dings and some big scrapes on the plastic bumper things and a scrape on the roof and dinged up bumpers. He looked over the car, jotted down some things, said he'd get back to me and a year or so later I never heard another peep. If you don't want to do estimates, fine, just say so and don't waste people's time!

The shop partially repaired the truck. The repairs were done only during the daytime. However, the invoice included a $200 labor charge and a call-out fee. When we called to discuss the difference, Matt apologized, saying he was too tired. He then accused us of confusing him. We do not recommend this shop. They do not stand behind their words and charge more than they initially stated having the nerve to blame the customer.

I was ready to buy the parts and attempt to do it myself which would of cost me more since I didn't need all the parts I thought I needed. They bled the brake lines and packed all 4 bearing/tires and replaced a inner bearing that had gone bad. They answered all my questions along the way and now I'm ready to take the boat out next week for the long holiday weekend. They charge me $1,600.00 for a single repair for the professional that had the right tools and knew what they were doing. They took out my air filter on my Cummins engine for nothing as it was not in the way and had no bearing on the repair but they charged me 2 hours for remove and install. Stay away from these low end vehicle workers. Notice I did not say mechanics. Mechanic professional do not keep their tools in plastic bins. They are an unorganized mess and will charge you unnecessarily.

Sam understood my pain to keep the cost low, but he was confidently honest. A used radiator would be risky so I need a new one, but he would find one that is inexpensive. I priced it for $180 at Autozone. He got one for $114. I originally thought I'd do this myself. During the repair he found that my AC/Heater fan was bad. Thank goodness he did the work. The dealer would have cost $800. He did it for half in less than 1.5 hours. ALSO, he replaced the accessories battery in our Honda Civic Hybrid for less than the Lithium battery at a Honda Dealership. I could not recommend a more energetic, honest and dependable auto mechanic! SuperSam!

However, I asked that my brakes be bled and when I picked up the car, he said they bled only the back brakes. I said 'what if there's air in the front lines?' and he said 'if there was, I would have felt it in the pedal.' I said thanks for dealing with my stripped nut problem and left. But, then my brake pedal was nearly touching the ground when I drove away. My car was not stopping properly. So, the next day, I took my car to ABM auto and asked that they flush the brakes. I started asking questions about the build and Jason was forthcoming. I found some issues I wanted answered, typically the tuner for the bike. Jason turned me over to Nick who responded. He said he had done this build with other Harleys and it worked well. I kept coming up with more questions and I believe for this build (Trike) they just got tired of me asking away. I wanted to know how the tuner chosen by them could actually tune the Trike if it didn't have any maps for a cam upgrade? Just pipes and air cleaner. Nick responded that he had done many tunes with it and it works? For this build the bike should be dyno tuned. GP did not have a dyno for a trike. Only place was Woodstock HD. After talking more, Jason wrote back stating he didn't think they could get me to where I wanted to be so advised I go some where who could. In all, I guess I am upset somewhat that if I had not researched my build I never would have learned the issues involved in the stage two upgrade I was trying to do. I would have had them do it possibly not getting the true performance out of the bike I had hoped for. I can't really say anything about the quality of the work they do, ratings were pretty good. I was in a pretty bad spot since I had a road trip coming up and now nobody to do the much needed maintenance. In looking around for other shops I came across this shop. Nick and his people came through for me in a big way when I needed it most. Got the work done on the day of in just a few short hours. These guys do great work at a reasonable price. The car was in a horrific state after being flooded during the storm…read more The customer service was just excellent. I had my car detailed after flooding from a recent storm. The job was not perfect but they did a good job with cleaning for the pricey detailing they charged me. The water continued flowing in even after the detailing. Pretty much everything was moved around and not put back in place. The steering wheel, the cup holder, the rearview mirrors. Initially when I turned my car on I got an red screen of death, but fortunately, after I adjusted the steering wheel back in position, it cleared off and got back to normal. My driving glasses disappeared, some items were broken in the process of cleaning. They threw away my wet towels that I was using to clean out the water and some other items which I wasn't too pleased with. It could have been put in a plastic bag instead of taking the liberty to throw away. The garage wasn't exactly near me in the 60626 neighborhood which was a hassle to get to and back. Many of the causes were obviously from the water flooding. Either way, it was cleaned enough to at least get me dried out from the flooding. In the long run I've been happy to be in a clean car.

When I came to pick it up the old man owner Kipp, like some kind of auto-mechanical mind-reader, says "You we're driving this thing around for 6 or 7 days with grinding brakes you dope." He knew by the level of wear on the wheel. Charged me a great price and taught me a lesson bc he almost had to replace some of them which can get pricey. Fast forward my dad has brought in his suburban for various things, I just left again with my Chevy Cruze after having an overheating/coolant issue and they were already closed when I got there around 645 but still unlocked all the gates and squeezed me in. Great place and makes you feel confident which is rare in the industry.
