Apparently I didn't take a picture of the menu, so u can't remember the name of the exact dish I ordered! My spicy margarita came with a little cup of the "extra"... Gotta love Mexico for the tequila! I had ordered a platter that included a couple varieties of shrimp and I believe lobster. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and the sauces were a complement rather than a necessity. Seating was outside in a shopping ally, protecting you from the elements but leaving you surrounded by the trinkets and souvenirs you may stare at and debate purchase while dining. :-) Service was quick and friendly. Margaritas was recommended by our Hop on, Hop off driver- I'd definitely come by for lunch again when in Mazatlan. read more

A SCAM! If you come during a cruise, they give you a separate cruise tourist menu that is very overpriced compared to the local menu. The food is mediocre and they don't have real sugar coke. Note that the chips and guacamole they offer are not complimentary! The pesos to dollar conversion is off as well and they ended up charging us extra. If I could put zero stars I would. read more

I am a huge Mexican food fan, my husband less so, this place changed him. Ever since we had lunch here, he talks about the best nachos he has ever had in his life. (Mine withstanding, I am not offended!) We stopped in just off a tour bus from our Carnival cruise and had been through some of the local shops. We could smell the carne asada as we were strolling up the sidewalk. The service was absolutely wonderful, and the servers speak English well. The outdoor setting is wonderful and inviting. This place quickly became one of our favorite cruise memories. I had a Mango Margarita, which is becoming my favorite adult beverage! This one was so flavorful and refreshing. We ordered a plate of the nachos with guacamole on the side. Every bite was incredibly satisfying and we were full by the time we finished the platter. A jolly fellow was singing Mariachi music as he was being served shots from the bar, it was very lively and he was fun to watch and listen to. Our time spent here will go down as our favorite stop in all of Mazatlán. Someday we hope to come back! read more

Took a boat cruise and we docked in Matzalan. The excursion we took let us to his place to enjoy a fabulous,tasty margarita and off the hook shrimp tacos. If you go to Baja California they normally do shrimp or fish tacos in a batter form which definitely did not disappoint. So fresh, light and full of flavor. The salsa are very hot just like I like them the service was wonderful, when asked they took our picture and they gave us these big sombrero hats which we put on and took a picture sipping on our margaritas. A wonderful picture memory to have. Overall great please to come and sit and enjoy fresh authentic Mexican food and of course you can't forget the Margaritas! read more

By accident we walked by looking for a spot to watch a college football game. They did not have it on but told us they would find it. We sat down had excellent margaritas amazing fish then ordered fish with garlic butter sauce YUM and probably the best tortilla soup I have had this time in Mazatlan! Service was excellent! Food was awful and over priced Do not recommend It seemed like they don't take pride in the food they give out to tourist people as the food seemed old. Beans were sour and bad. The shrimps fajitas was all veggies and the shrimp had no taste whatsoever. Left with an after taste of the shrimp almost like they were boiled in tap water which left them so bland. Horchata was very watered down along with their lemonade. If I could I wouldn't even give them one star. read more

Cheap tacos. Pre frozen shrimp microwaved and served on a molcajete with guacamole. Tacos were tasteless, the asada wasn't cooked well. And be careful of the check. They charge extra assuming you wouldn't notice. We got charged for 5 quantities of beer when there was just 2 ordered. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I love Mazatlan and this did not do the city any good for me. Service was absolutely awful. Took forever for someone to acknowledge us and we were a group of 4. After 20 mins of waiting and we were the only ones there besides the worked finally had our order taken and was very disappointed in the food. Order tacos and quesadillas, which were horrid better off making them yourself at home. Also ordered a lemonade for my daughter and it was basically sugar water, had to add my own lemons to the water. My Neice did enjoy her piña colada. Not a great place for simple eats and way expensive for basic foods, charging US prices. Totally taking advantage of tourists. After an hour of waiting to order, eating and waiting for check I felt uncared for as a patron. Will never ever go there again. Don't go there even if you are starving better off getting snacks from the oxxo read more

We walked in here at around noon and were seated immediately. It wasn't too busy. The music was nice. We ordered two margaritas right away. I had lime on the rocks and my sister a blended strawberry one. I must say I was so jealous of hers because the strawberry flavor tasted from real fruit not concentrate. We ordered guacamole that came with two fried taquitos, chips, mild salsa, and pico de gallo. We also ordered shrimp ceviche and shrimp fajitas. Both were bomb! The only thing that could've made my visit better was a spicy salsa. read more

We had a great time visiting this restaurant. The server understood that we were on a cruise tour so they made sure to bring our food and drinks out timely so we wouldn't miss the bus pick-up. We ordered the shrimp boat, which consisted for 4 pieces each of 4 different kinds of shrimp: coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, and bbq shrimp (sadly, I cannot remember the 4th), garlic bread and a beef and chicken taco. It was fantastically presented in this large wooden boat and was enough to feed an army. An extra star for having this special chili paste. They brought us the whole jar and my friend slathered it on everything. Also, there was a complimentary taquitos appetizer and the chips & guacamole were excellent. They do have a performer who sings and plays the guitar pretty decently and it is nice entertainment, and he will go around soliciting tips afterwards. Our bus parked right outside the restaurant and the tour guide recommended this place, so I'm not sure if they got some sort of perk for bringing us. But, overall, we had a great time and the food was good, so I have no complaints. read more

I'm going to give this a solid 2 star. Ordered the burger and took one bite and that was it. My husband ordered the Carne Asada plate and he said it was okay... but nothing great. The place was empty and we kind of accidentally sat down there confusing it with another spot but we had already ordered drinks so we felt obliged to stay . Had the shrimp cocktail, 2 margaritas, 1 beer, and chips and salsa. The bill came to $46.50, which we felt was a little overpriced. They asked us what we wanted to drink and we said, Margaritas. They didn't ask what ones we wanted so I assume they brought us the Cadillac Margaritas which were $9.60 each.
