I ordered the Cuban, and omg what a joke. $15.00 for this and it had one slice of subway meat and the funkiest flavored pork that tasted like tuna. It was the worst sandwich in my life. The waiter was really sweet and asked if i wanted something else but I declined and ate the fries. Normally a chain will overcharge in tourist traps, i get that, but when you charge like that and there is nothing but bread and a sliver of meat, you can do better than that. Waited 45 min to get a table which is fine, but then we waited over an hour just to get our over priced disgusting food. The Volcano Nachos were horrible. Just a pile of chips with nothing on them. When my food came out I was so disappointed that I just wanted to pay for the appetizer and go. I ordered the fish tacos and it was literally a tiny frozen fish stick on a huge pile of iceberg. We came here over the weekend and had fun. Went straight to bar. Great knowledgeable talkative staff. They were very friendly and told us about the drinks. The drinks were fantastic and put me in a good mood. Although, my friend got on to me about wanting to drink more. So, she made me quit to go on that 200 foot tall ferris wheel. This was my first time here visiting and this whole area is new. So I highly recommend coming here next time you come to Pigeon Forge. In summary, come here first after parking in huge parking lot down the road. You can get on a tram there and they will bring you right up to this place. I will be coming back. read more

Visited the area today and decided to give this place a try. Very happy we did. The restaurant was very busy but soon as walking in we were taken to our seat outside. The service was VERY quick and great. We had the chicken tenders with fries and nachos. The food came out hot and very yummy!!! The nachos are huge! And could be shared with several people but we wanted more of a sample type lunch so went with the chicken tenders as well. The tenders are thin and fried just perfect with a thin breading. I have eaten at other Margaritaville locations and have not been pleased with the food or service it's just been ok but this location was great and I look forward to returning here again!! read more

Not only is this place very expensive, but when we got back to our cabin we discovered the fish tacos were missing. Needless to say we were not happy. The Island is loaded with tourists, so as you can imagine this place is a total tourist trap. I normally try to avoid places like this because they're usually way over priced for mediocre food. However, Margaritaville is the exception! I tried Margaritaville for the first time while I was in Nashville and surprisingly really enjoyed it. The drinks were tasty and strong, which made spending $10 on a cocktail to be worth it. The food is pretty standard, but that's what I expected. The main reason my friends and I decided to visit the Sevierville location was because of our wonderful experience at the Nashville location. I figured my experience would be the same at this location, but I found it to be a bit of a let down. The drinks were still tasty, but definitely not as good or strong as the drinks we ordered in Nashville. If this was my first time visiting a Margaritaville location I'm not sure I would want to visit again. I don't have any major complaints, I just wasn't as impressed with this location. Tried to get a table for 7 in the shade and was told very rudely by the manager that it was not impossible. We were the only party at the outside bar and now I see why. Horrible customer service and could not even complain to the manager since he was the manager. We had a decent experience. Good service. Had a headache from the very loud inside music... mixed with the loud band outside. We were seated in an area where we heard both. The food was fine. Big portions. Average quality. The prices are inflated about $5 more per meal than if you were not in a heavy tourist area (the island). For an adult meal the minimum is around $15-$20. Honestly, way too expensive. The food was disgusting and it was basically black out dark in there. I got fajitas and they look better at chili's for a fraction of the price. The shrimp was very disgusting and so was the jambalaya. The waitress didn't ask for our ID so that's really bad. I'm underage and my boyfriend isn't. If I wanted to take advantage of that I could have. Bottom line is it's overpriced and gross. Also if you have to wait, have fun in the crappy gift shop where the the lady behind the counter loudly complains about how much she hates her job. We like sonic food but it was just disappointing because of how expensive it was and if we wanted sonic it would've been so much cheaper to just go to sonic. We were expecting it to be way better. No loud band this time so we decided to wait over an hour for to dine. The majority of us had the shrimp and crab Mac and Cheese while my husband had the wings, kids had the chicken tender meals. The Mac and Cheese was BLAND! Salt was given in packets, ketchup for kids in packets, the crab meat which was advertised as lump crabmeat was more minced and I assumed it was actually in there. I know some people are deathly afraid of the Covid and this place is taking Every freaking precaution with the plastic cups and no salt and pepper, ketchup container etc, but if the food is bland then provide some seasoning. Even sadder, there was not a single Jimmy Buffet song played THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE except when we were leaving and the toilet water loaded in the giant blender. My first visit to any Margaritaville and the noise level was high as expected. The "canned" music was OK...but on the fifteenth time around, it became boring. The food was adequate. We ordered the Shrimp Louis Salad, Fish and Chips, Chicken Fingers and fries for the kids. Nothing astounding. I would believe that we were paying for the Buffettville atmosphere. Great ambiance! Great food! Beautiful hotel with a lazy River right on the beach!! Music is an added bonus!

I've eaten here four times. All of my meals have been pretty good, very good considering this is a chain. What really earns them 5 stars is that my wife has a bell pepper allergy. A lot of the food here has a Caribbean flair to it which means pretty frequent use of peppers. The waitress basically checked ink every item that came with the ordered dish and kindly offered substitution offers. She came back 3 times just to check on this allergy and went way above and beyond. I ordered the fish tacos which were pretty good. Loaded with avocado and a really tasty cole slaw. We got a drunken shrimp app where the shrimp was cooked well. In the past I had a hard time finding good fish tacos. These were very tasty. I've had the coconut shrimp a few times which was good. This time around I also had dessert. It was a chocolate banana bread that had chocolate shavings, chocolate sauce, and was very good. Good wise, I think they're 4 stars, but the server being so attentive and kind added that last star. read more
