It is very rare for me to leave a negative review, but this was a super disappointing experience. We have visited many Margaritaville restaurants in other areas but this was a one and only to this location. The restaurant was not busy at all. We walked in and went straight to a table with our two small children. It was at least 10-15 minutes before anyone even came to take our drink order and our kids were about to turn up. When our server finally arrived, I let her know we were ready to order and she appeared visibly annoyed by this. She wasn't rude per se but she was definitely not a ray of sunshine. We ordered, and I guess the food took an average time to come out but after the wait to order it felt like an eternity. I have zero issue with the fact that the meals are overpriced because I understand that to an extent you're paying for the brand and the experience. That being said - my meal was terrible. I ordered fish tacos and I didn't even think it was possible for a taco to be bland. The mango salsa was the only part that made it even edible, and even that part was underwhelming. The restaurant has the giant blender like the one in Myrtle so that was fun for our kiddos. Poor service, plus bland overpriced definitely ensures we will not visit this place again. This was our first time visiting a Margaritaville. Overall, we had a pleasant experience except for the loud thundstorm and sound of an airplane... it was too loud for my 4 yr old daughter. She kept saying mommy, it's too loud. She did enjoy seeing the water fill up the big blender at the entrance. That was a highlight for her lol. Stacey, our server, was great. Very informative and knew a lot about the menu. I considered the quesadilla but she shared that it wasn't a big portion. So I went with my next selection, the Broccoli Chicken Pasta. It was good but I could have used more sauce on it. My hubby had the jambalaya, he said, it was really good. It was seasoned nicely. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would visit again. As we were leaving, a live band was setting up so we probably wouldn't go for dinner as we have small kids. The kids shrimp dinner was pricey to us. 6 shrimp and fries for $17.99. read more

I had high hopes for this place. We had been looking forward to coming here as it was our first time. We didn't wait very long to be seated upstairs. Our table was a on the outside perimeter of the room. Our server, Andrew, was kind and friendly. He had suggestions about what to have. I had the fish tacos. My husband had the BBQ Cheddar burger with a side of BBQ sauce for dipping fries. When Andrew brought our drinks he said he couldn't find straws and he "hoped that was okay". A little while later we noticed the party seated closest to us after we arrived had straws. When our drinks were empty, we asked Andrew for more since he tended to make himself scarce. Another kitchen worker brought out our meals some time later. There was no BBQ sauce and no Andrew. He finally came to take the orders of a nearby table. He didn't check on us or look in our direction. I got up to ask him for the BBQ sauce. When I caught up with him, I found him leaning at the bar watching the football game. The egg roll appetizer was the highlight of our meal. Very good! The fish tacos were decently good, but there was hardly any sauce on them and one had none at all. The BBQ Cheddar burger was mediocre at best. We could've gotten one like it somewhere else for much less cost. Overall, we were disappointed with Margaritaville. $68 plus tip wasn't worth it. Stopped here for a light lunch before shopping at Tanger Outlets. We just had the appetizer trio, shrimp appetizer and a side salad. The decorations and music were fitting and exactly what you'd expect. Everything was cooked right and didn't have to wait long at all. Margaritaville used to be my favorite place to eat in Pigeon Forge. It didn't matter what I got it was always good. Now I wouldn't come back here ever again solely because of the food. I came with a group of four and not a one of us liked our food. I got the jumbalaya and there was literally two tiny sausage slices and absolutely no flavor to any of it. Like I don't know how else to describe it other than like eating paper. My wife got the coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries. These were the first sweet potato fries that we have ever gotten from anywhere that was soggy. Another in our party got the club and said the ham tasted old. The only good thing was the lava shrimp appetizer that my daughter got. And the drink we got from the bar. I think the best way to describe everything we ate was like they didn't get their shipment of ANY spices for seasoning. So sad to say this place is removed from the list of places we're going to eat at on vacation going forward. read more

Margaritaville was always a must visit for us, we still love their food but I went for the seafood Mac n cheese. It was me & my daughter's favorite dish. I'm not sure why it was discontinued but it's greatly missed. We have tried to find it elsewhere to no success. Nobody else's version is even close. We always ordered extra to take back home with us to freeze for later. It's so missed, please bring it back! Everything else is amazing, and I've tried it all at least once.. just nothing compares to the seafood Mac n cheese. read more

We stopped at the Margaritaville during our trip because we went to the island with our dog and it ended up being way too hot for him. We were seated quickly in the shade by the bar, and a staff member brought our dog water so quickly. We were able to put in drink orders right away and they came out super quick. We waited for my sister to arrive, and then asked the staff if we could combine tables and they were more than willing to let us combine. Overall, this was a highlight of the trip - it was originally out of necessity but I'm glad we stopped. I would go back for sure while visiting pigeon forge. read more

The restaurant itself was clean as well as the bathrooms. Good lighting and noise level not too loud. The food wasn't great, mostly heat and serve but the two who got the burgers said it was good and the kids meals are good sized. The service was HORRIBLE, our waitress(seen in photos) could not be found when we needed her for napkins(she forgot to leave us), refills on drinks not to mention her poor attitude like she was bothered to help us! Party of 8 with a predetermined tip so maybe she knew it didn't matter what she did for us since she found lots of time to talk to a coworker on the stairs. Sadly we would have left a tip for good service. My advice is don't go there not worth the quality of food and service. Plenty of other choices in the area. We stayed here for a little over a week on our way back from a conference down in Florida. Across the street from the hotel is Margaritaville restaurant, Tiki Bar, Coffee and gift store. Our bartender at the Tiki bar is always fantastic. This is the place to go for some grub and margaritas or sweet, cold concoctions by whipped up by the friendly waiter or rather bartender. It's alway crowded in the dining area. We opt to sit at the bar to get seat promptly. Plus service is always better. Bartender made me a cool refreshing watermelon, lemonade and sweetened soda mocktail. read more

Listen, when it comes to tourist locations, I will always point in the direction of locally owned and operated places, and there are a good selection of those in the area. However, when you have 10 people and a baby, and your family is full of closet parrotheads, it sometimes is the safest bet, and they didn't disappoint. Danielle was hands down, the best server I've ever seen in a Margaritaville location. She was full of positive energy, extremely accommodating, and went above and beyond to fulfill requests. Food and drink speed was great, and we were in and out in under an hour. For what it is, it was fantastic, and if you have the urge for a margarita or a cheeseburger in paradise, I would recommend. read more

Terrible food - Terrible service I called earlier from my hotel to make a reservation and they told me that they didn't take reservations. When my wife and I got to the front desk they asked if we had a reservations. ?? We were seated upstairs and had to wait about 10 minutes for a server. He was snotty and barely attended .. only taking our order and giving us our check. I ordered the seafood platter and my wife ordered the coconut shrimp. The food had no flavor other than the dipping sauces. They tasted like they came right out of a frozen food box. We ordered Pina Coladas expecting a tropical themed restaurant to specialize in them. They were the worst. at $11 a glass. Just crushed ice and some coconut rum with a pineapple wedge.. that's it! My wife barely touched hers. When I got the bill at almost $90 I decided a 10% was more than fair considering the food and lack of service. I noted on the receipt - food lousy - pina colada's terrible - service mediocre (sad face). When my wife were leaving we were confronted by our server at the bottom of the stairs as why we left such a low tip and bad review. I had to control myself. I have never been confronted so rudely by a server in my life. If your food and service sucks then maybe you should work on improving it! read more
