Not impressed at all. The food was ok the price was high and the service was terrible. There was an area that is just as large as the normal dining area but it is marked off for private events. So there was appropriately 15/20 tables that were not being used. Once seated it took at least 10 minute before a manager finally noticed that we were not being served. read more

It wasn't very busy when we arrived and they had so many servers working.. it took forever for everything: 25 minutes for 1 soda/2 milks, 45 minutes for a margarita (that my husband had to go get from the bar himself since the server never brought it). This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a resort!!!!! The swim up bar shown all over their website was closed. .doesn't open until after memorial day ( no where on the website tells you that ) the swim with mermaids was also not happening...if you want a channel guide to operate their TV's...you must go get it yourself from the front desk...all 4 of our room keys continually stopped working...the house keeper left the toilet paper laying on the floor with a broken holder...the shower stopped working while showering...so just wait covered in suds for the water to come back on...I have been a fan of Jimmy's for years...but this experience!!!! He has lost me .. I will never come back an I will let everyone I know to save their money...my family flew all the way from California for this trip and margaritaville has made it a nightmare!!!!! It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst restaurant. The food, as one reviewer said, was mediocre and pretty much overpriced. Our server was exuberant to say the least! Very energetic with loads of personality. It was too cool to sit outdoors the day we were there however we did have a table by the window and were able to see the beach. Only a few indoor tables have that view, the rest are down a few stairs with no view. I would say, unless you're a big Jimmy Buffet fan and just want to see what it's all about, find another place to eat! read more

It really saddens me to write such a poor review being an avid Jimmy Buffett fan. We went to Margaritaville Bar in Biloxi for happy hour and it took us 20 minutes, sitting at the empty bar, to receive service. All of the glasses were still in the washer and the bartender was more focused on cleaning the bar than serving guests. When I finally got my drink it was pretty good but the poor experience made it less enjoyable. We were going to eat dinner here as well but we will be going elsewhere. read more

My granddaughter and I had dinner here tonight. We only ordered two cheeseburgers and an appetizer and it was $50. The hamburgers were underwhelming at best and basically have no flavor whatsoever. My friends and I stayed at the Margaritaville resort for a girl's trip. Most of the staff were rude and made us feel like an inconvenience despite it not being very busy. On our last night we decided to have dinner at the Margaritaville restaurant. Our waitress, Jessica R started off great. She was polite, got our orders quickly and even split our checks for all 8 of us at the end of the meal. When ordering drinks I asked for a VIRGIN piña coloda since I'm pregnant. I was pretty early so it wasn't obvious. When it came time to pay our checks she was asking what we all got and I said I had the VIRGIN piña coloda, she looked at me and said no that was a regular one, was it supposed to be virgin? I said yes. Seeing my distraught and horrified face she asked if I was pregnant and I said yes. She apologized and said that there was only "this much" rum in it, holding her two fingers about 2 inches apart. When she came back with our checks she said "Hey, I asked my boss and all my coworkers and they said you'll be okay. There's not that much alcohol in there". The rest of table clearly heard me ask for a virgin piña coloda, not sure why she didn't but I am very upset. She didn't even offer to take it off my ticket or at least have me pay for virgin one. I will NOT be returning here and I certainly will not be ordering any more "virgin" drinks anywhere. I now have to go the rest of my pregnancy hoping there isn't permanent damage to my child. Our waiter was awesome, great attitude. Upon arriving to the restaurant we don't have the most pleasant experience with the hostess. She told us we needed to wait for a table to be sat. That's fine, were weren't expecting to immediately be seated, but we inquired about sitting at the empty table with five chairs around it. She told us that the table doesn't seat 5 (despite the 5 empty chairs surrounding it) because her staff needs to be able to deliver the food with enough space. We said ok and didn't push any more. After waiting 10 minutes for our table to be ready that fits five people, she sits us and immediately goes over and removes the fifth chair from the table we originally wanted to sit at. We had been sitting probably for 4 minutes or so and the hostess brings a party of five and sits them down at the table she told us cannot sit 5 people. It's was ultimately just rude and frustrating. Now to the food, nachos were awesome and HUGE portions. Took a while for us to get our drink orders. Just a general note about the drinking water in Gulfport and Biloxi, it tastes funny. read more

For the prices you would expect top notch food and service. What you get is Sysco food and a kitchen that has no idea what it's doing. My cousin sat for 20 minutes without receiving a water and they messed up multiple food and drink orders. I would rather go to Outback to eat non-gulf seafood. At least you know where your expectations should be. Sad that such a large hotel and restaurant chain can't support local businesses. By the way the kid's mac n' cheese is $7.99 and it's Kraft macaroni. Would not recommend with the amazing food you can get elsewhere on the beach and further inland. read more

I've been to other Margaritaville locations and have always received excellent service and great food but that is not the case with the Biloxi location. The food is not up to franchise standards, one of the worst meals I've ever received anywhere. While they don't have a separate allergy menu the restaurant chain is known for being allergy friendly and knowledgeable but the staff at this location is clueless. The wait staff has no knowledge of food allergens and when I asked to speak to the manager he was equally clueless, absolutely rude and condescending. We were finally able to talk to a chef about the what we should and shouldn't order, this is standard step 1 protocol at other locations but took us at least 20 minutes to get to in Biloxi. I felt slightly more comfortable placing and order after our conversation, he was the only person who mentioned food items that we shouldn't order which were the same ones I've been told not to order at other locations. We have always been offered off menu items that can be made from regular menu items at other locations. So we ordered shrimp tacos with rice and beans for the kids with food allergies and regular menu fish tacos for 2 adults. The island rice was undercooked and crunchy, and definitely not the same recipe used at the other locations, very different flavors. We expected the kids tacos to be full size adult entrees at $18 a plate but what we received were two tacos with 3 shrimp hidden underneath a massive pile of brown cabbage. It looked and tasted like they intentionally used spoiled food to prepare our meals. Neither kid would eat any of the food on their plate, I normally would not condone that behavior after placing a special order but since we have had the same order before we knew it was very clearly not as it should have been. I did send both of the orders back to the kitchen and they were taken off the bill but that is the first time I have ever sent anything back. Unfortunately the four adults at the table wanted desperately to send their plates back as well but we sucked it up, picked at our entrees and payed the $90 bill, went home and made sandwiches. read more

Don't go for kids birthday. Very disappointed. My son wanted to go to Margaritaville for his birthday dinner. We had some fun playing games and then went upstairs to eat. We were seated quickly, but then had to wait about 15min just to be greeted by a server! It took one of the staff that was putting napkins/utensils on the table next to ours for us to even be acknowledged we were there! He asked if we had been helped and we said no. I noticed he went and told the manager and then shortly after, a waitress came. Not sure if she was supposed to be our waitress or not, but she seemed annoyed from the beginning. She took our drink and food order at the same time since we had been waiting. There were plenty of open tables/seats so I'm really not sure why she was annoyed and also why things took a long time. Anyways, we ordered our food and then close to asking for ticket, my son asked if they did anything for birthdays, because he wanted them to sing to him. In mid sentence while my son is trying to ask, she turns her back to him and starts talking to the next table!!!!! I was furious! All she had to say was no- sorry, they don't do anything and all would be fine! But to turn your back to a child when they are merely asking for a birthday song was quite rude!!!!!! When we were walking out, I asked one of the employees if I could get a managers business card. Little did I know, the manager was standing right next to him. Told the manager about what had happened and how I understand if they are busy and if they don't do anything, but just don't turn your back on my son. He apologized over and over but still... I'm just disappointed. She even walked up while I was talking to him and said "this is the manager, you can tell him how bad I was" wow! We will not be returning. If I could give this place no stars I would!! My server told me that refills with the blender would be $3. When I asked for a refill, I was told it would be the price of the drink plus $3. The manager came out and was sooo rude and would not honor what we were told. I explained to him the only reason I paid and extra $8 for the blender was for the $3 refills, and he could care less. Train your staff properly so the information they give is correct. He said he would only charge us for the price of the drink and not the extra $3. He rudely ended the conversation and walked away from our table. I WILL NOT ever spend another dollar in the establishment. The customer service is horrible and do not honor what they say. Absolutely unacceptable. Waited two hours for cold food. Mind you we were very patient the entire time. I ordered a steak and my entire meal was cold. Kids fries were brown and hard. When asked to speak with the manager Jessie came out and basically implied that since the kids ate the food it must've been ok. Livid is an understatement. We spent over $1000 on rooms for one night and $300 worth of cold food for her to come out with a chipper unsympathetic attitude and basically slap us in the face. She offered us a 30% discount but when i got my individual bill the charges totaled $60 and after the discount my total was $56. Her exact words to me were "Well I guess that's how much 30% is." We were hoping after trying the restaurant twice by the arcade that this place would be better, but unfortunately it wasnt. Our nachos were soggy and the "chili" was dried up and looked like tiny plain ground meat balls, the pulled pork sandwich was cold.
