Margene's Bridal is EXCEPTIONAL! Jaylee is one of the kindest and most attentive people I have ever worked with in sales. Never did she make us feel like we were taking up too much of her time (we took up A LOT of time) and she was always so accommodating. A few months after we ordered the dress, we found that the same dress was being sold like hot cakes from other bridal shops. You can imagine it would be devastating to see people you know with your same dress. Jaylee jumped in to the rescue. She had us come in again and she was able to work her magic to rebuild the dress in a way to make it different. Her creativity and sense of style absolutely saved the day because she was able to make modification suggestions that we would have never known were possible. When having an out of state wedding, it was such a challenge having to do the dress shopping portion solo. Margene's Bridal made it so much easier. I discovered Margene's via yelp and decided to check it out. I had an idea of what I wanted in my wedding dress, however, I still needed help. Please remember though, appointments are required (thank you fellow yelpers for that tip as well). The staff at Margene's was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was able to explain what I wanted and they fully respected my tight budget. I tried on a few dresses that I felt were out of my element... however, the one I chose was perfect for me. I came to Margene's bridal recently because my best friend is getting married. I have never been in a wedding nor done wedding dress shopping but the experience we had at Margene's was amazing! It was our first stop of 3 and we made an apointment for our group of 4. We had wonderful 1-on-1 time with a sweet gal who worked there, I wish I could remember her name. She gave us wonderful service; explained everything very thoroughly and was so much help with my friend trying on the dresses and giving advice. My daughter had a heirloom dress she always thought she would wear.... we tried it on and it fit perfectly but the dress just wasn't her... so we went to Margene's and found the perfect dress ... it was a little big but my daughter wanted it to be comfortable... they said they couldn't hem it either.... so weeks later the from the designer arrived in our home.... it didn't fit at all.... the old heirloom dress still did Margene's didn't answer or return phone calls in a timely manner.... we had to take it to a professional wedding dress alteration three hours from our home.... she said they should have never told us this dress could be hemmed except from the designer and that the sleeves were to small for the dress which made it difficult to pull the dress completely on which made it hard to button up... we never heard back from Margene's on our last phone call to get lace for alterations and she said a family member could not come into measure the showroom dress to prove the dress we received was smaller than the showroom was without an appointment.... read more

I stopped by Margene's Bridal with my sister to begin my search for the perfect wedding gown, and while I did not end up purchasing my gown from here, I still wanted to leave a review for Chelsea. As it was the first day of my search I wasn't quite sure what would look good on me but I did have some ideas in mind of the types of gowns I liked. My sister and I were able to view their selection and pick out gowns that caught our eye. I fell in LOVE with a blush colored Allure gown but decided to hold off until I looked a little more. Chelsea was VERY HELPFUL in giving me ideas of how I could alter the gown to make it my dream dress. Options I didn't even know where possible. She was very friendly, kind, welcoming, and did not pressure me to make a choice that day. Absolutely terrible. I have been in a half dozen bridal shops and these people are the worst, hands down. I literally walked out in the middle of a conversation with the owner due to how flat-out rude she was. I cannot understand how she is able to run a business with that type of disrespect towards customers. FYI, I'm no bridezilla. I asked a simple question and the woman blew up at me, seemingly for no reason. I get she's pregnant but that's no excuse. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

Great private feel when trying on dresses. I gave them a price range and they helped me stay within it-showing me dresses that fit it. They helped me find the right style I was looking for. I LOVED my visit at Margene's! First, the store not only had the biggest selection of every bridal shop in Boise but the service we got from our stylist Brittany was the best! She was so friendly and I could truly tell she loved her job. She has a great sense of humor and was so patient with me ( I was overly picky ) I didn't feel pressured into picking a dress at all and she was very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't do with a dress. After scouring the entire Boise area for a homecoming dress for my daughter this weekend we were at the end of options. We couldn't find anything appropriate for her big event. The sales girl at Dillard's mentioned Margene's Bridal. We were so excited the moment we walked in. We were greeted immediately by a very helpful sales person named Megan. We were also so excited to see the amazing selection of dresses. Megan pulled a bunch of dresses for my daughter to try on. We live out of town so while my daughter was trying on dresses Megan was coming up with ways for us to get the dress tailored with the least trips to Boise. It turned out one of those dresses must have been waiting for my daughter ... It was a perfect fit and her favorite dress out of all of the dresses. Our day went from tears to pure excitement!
