Mr. Formal did an excellent job at competitive pricing for a business suit to attend Mass regularly on Sundays. They had the coat and pants ready the same day and the owner was willing to make a deal with me, praise God. One of Mr. Formal's staff members directed me to a Tie Shop in town since they didn't have the design I was looking for. On my actual wedding day none of my bridemaids could figure out how to actually bustle it. I ended up having to carry my train in my hand. That's another story though. I went to pick up my dress about 3 times thinking it was ready to go. Turns out it wasn't ready, and I wasn't even given a call to save myself the drive. The glitter layer that was added had an uneven trim that would show if I turned a certain way. The women were really nice. Great personalities, but the actual service itself was OK. I wouldn't go back.

The seamstress proceeded to tell me all the reasons that she wouldn't/couldn't do it. I have had multiple pairs of jeans, just like the ones that I took in, hemmed with original hems with absolutely no problems whatsoever. A hem is a pretty basic thing for a seamstress, even if it involves putting back on an original hem. I would have much rather she told me that she just didn't want to do it, or didn't have the time, than to insult my intelligence by telling me all the reasons it couldn't be done. Dry Cleaning Butler might want to explore hiring a new seamstress.

One time I took new clothes I recently had purchased from a department store because there was a slight mildew odor. I did not notice the odor when I purchased them, only after I arrived home and removed the tags. The dry cleaner deodorize the clothes so there was no smell at all. I was so happy and amazed it got the odor out without ruining the clothes. I have also had my clothing altered with very good results. I will continue to use this dry cleaner, I have trust in them and the quality of the workmanship is very good. Nice people work there too, which means a lot to me.

After a cruise I took 10 shirts for dry cleaning and pressing. I picked the shirts up all on…read morehangers. Five of the shirts were either Tommy Bahama or Poncho. None were pressed and obviously steamed. Just under 100.00 for the lot. I won't be going back. Each of the shirts were 80.00 to 100.00 dollars. Tide used to do a good job on their pressing. It's a shame. I'll get out the iron and press in lieu of packing for another trip.
