How, how, how did I not know about all this ho ho ho???? Marge's sells furnishings, yes... and clothes and accessories,,, but they also sell gobs and gobs of Christmas decor. It's fa la la fabulous. Expensive... extensive... and fabulous. I went to their Christmas in July event, on the last weekend of July 2025. They open at 8:30am and I was there early ( excited!) . They had super friendly parking attendants in Santa hats directing other eager elves to prime parking spots. I was jingling and tingling-so ready to go inside. And I was definitely delighted once I got there... room after room, building after building... full of every Christmas item you could think of, from sacred and soulful to sparkly and shimmery... and everything in between. There were so many trees, decorated in so many themes, with so many accessories, for the rest of the room. I've never seen anything so holly and jolly in the retail world. It really was a feast for the senses (cue the Who's to start singing). There were some really beautiful things-and some prices were high... or at least higher than you'd expect. There were some blue and white cone trees that took my breath away. I'd almost sell my car for those. They were breathtaking-as is so much of this store. And it's not just the merchandise, but the way they've displayed it, as well. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit... without drinking any holiday spirits. And if the merch doesn't do that, the sweet staff will. They are dedicated and invested in this business... and seem to take great joy in helping customers. No wonder it's survived 50+ years. Santa's smiling at them. It's an easy drive from Tampa... about 90 minutes, give or take. It might be even shorter/easier from the east coast. There's ample parking and truly, something for everyone. Made a visit with my MIL to see what this place is about. Wow. It's huge. There are many sections of the store and there are more buildings outside to walk to. We enjoyed viewing the decor, ornaments, wreaths, trees, garlands, ribbon etc. It was nice that they had stuff ready to go that you can take home and display immediately and they have supplies you can buy and build your own! Many of the decorated trees were absolutely gorgeous. You probably could not build the tree for the sale price they were offering. But if it's not your style, they have many trees you can buy and all sorts of stuff to adorn it with. I really liked all the lights. They had huge stars for the lawn and large balls of light to hang as well as firework shaped lights. Very cool. I picked up a tea towel. It was $9.99. I didn't have a need for any of the big stuff but I was fascinated by the designs and color schemes etc. The owner said they've been open for over 50 years. She also mentioned they do business with the theme parks. Pro tip- they start Christmas in July! So that's when the store is stocked full of everything. So shop early for the best selection. They do not ship because things can break and the shipping and insurance is expensive. So while they have a website, it does not have their items and you cannot buy online. So- stop by! I would give an hour just to peruse. If you're buying - it could be a few hours. Also- they have other holiday stuff (Halloween, Fourth of July, etc)and silk flowers for arrangements etc. They also have furniture, many large planters and vases. It was a day trip with our dear friends, so we started at this wonderful store. There's so many lovely things to see and at this time of year they went all out with their unbelievable array of Christmas decorations although if you're looking for Thanksgiving and Halloween, they've got that as well. I was there actually to find a vase and silk flowers for our coffee table and hit "pay dirt"! But just to walk around there and see everything is so enjoyable and the staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. If you've never been there you have missed out so I highly recommend you rectify this, take the time and be ready to be amazed! read more

Wow, I've driven by this place literally hundreds of times and never knew it was here or what was inside. I think if they would put more Christmas decorations out front, they would get more local visitors. Marge's is basically an IKEA version of a Holiday store. There are several show rooms you can walk through, which are great to get ideas from, and to get in the holiday spirit. I only wish the prices were as good as IKEA, (or Christmas Tree Shops, is a more relevant example) . If variety and unique Christmas items are what you're after, then this is definitely your place to be. If you need a bargain, then maybe just come here to inspired. This is a store that celebrates celebrations for all seasons. They also sell jewelry, furniture and more. I love Mark Roberts and they always have new editions each year. Oh Marge's, how I love you! Marge's is a wholesale AND open to the public specialty floral supply and decor store located about 1/2 a mile North of the intersection of Lee Road and OBT. I've enjoyed shopping at Marge's my entire time in FL, so that is over 15 years. The front of the store is misc. furniture and decor, upscale candles, a Brighton boutique (shoes, jewelry, purses). The back of the store leads to a large floral supply warehouse that has everything you could ever want and more. They quality of the flowers is spectacular, these aren't flowers you see at Michael's or Joann's. I had a friend that was helping with a wedding, looking for Calla lilies and Floralyte LED tea lights (can be submerged in water). Marge's had both and at a great price. I had searched for them on Amazon.com and they couldn't be here by the time she needed, so I was thrilled to find them locally- at the same/better price that was online. The calla lilies were just amazing, looked and felt real. Perfect for use as boutonnieres, on cakes or in her table arrangements. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the gal that took my call about my Floralytes inquiry remembered my call and got me on my way quickly. (After I perused around for awhile!) Sign up for their emails to receive notices of their sales, they have 1 or 2 big sales per year and you can stock up on beautiful merchandise. We came in search of quality silk flowers and ended up finding that and so much more. This place is fabulous. Two tons of amazing items, home decode, Christmas, seasonal, and more. Even a Brighton boutique with great selection! The staff were plentiful, informative, funny, and so helpful without being clingy or annoying! They even offered us coffee or bottled water. Wow this place was just...wow. Christmas decorations galore! My husband and I are obsessed with Christmas to say the least so this was the jackpot of all things Christmas. There are trees, decorations, ornaments, ribbon, garland, etc plus they have some fall/Halloween items as well. If you are searching for fake flowers for any sort of floral arrangement I'd say Marge's had at least 5 times the amount of options compared to JoAnn's so I'm pretty sure there isn't a flower they don't have. There are some other furniture and decorating items but Christmas is definitely the main feature and we will definitely return closer to the holidays. read more

Marge's Selection - yes Prices - all over the place Customer service - some pretty awful, some okay, some good The selection at this destination store is amazing. If you need to create a tree or wreath and want all the ribbons, ornaments, embellishments, you will likely find them here. The prices, well, some are good, some middle of the road and some are high. Do not just put things in your basket without checking the price. The customer service is their weak link. On one occasion we had a charming sales associate help us, she even carried our tree to the car, she was wonderful. On another occasion, the employee did not want to be bothered with us. She was awful. We were making spending a lot of money had two full shopping carts of products, and she wasn't happy about it! She was rude to all three of us, she kept messing up the math, and then would get nasty when we pointed it out. She didn't get everything in our bags, and we were staying about an hour from their store. So one of us had to drive all the way back the following day. If she had waited on us during our 1st visit, we would have never returned. And it's not just her, there were other impolite people working in the store that day. I think our first trip was actually the anomaly. Additionally they have posted "ALL SALES FINAL" I never trust a vendor that will not accept a return in a reasonable amount of time. Upon a recent visit to this AMAZING store, I found myself blown away by their extensive line of merchandise. Not only do I love it, but nearly everyone that visits my home raves about my decor'. I love that they don't seem to overstock any one item, which in my opinion, allows the consumer to accent their home with detail to uniqueness unlike larger home furnishing chains such as, Pier One, Home Goods or (forgive me for even naming this place) Tuesday Mornings. The staff continues to treat me, as well as other patrons, with such individualized attention, which you'd never find at a large chain store. As a matter of fact, comparing the customer service to a well known chain, they don't seem to follow me around as I browse their showrooms like "used car" salespeople looking for the chance to make the next commission. I truly appreciate that. On the other hand, when I need assistance, the personnel always seem happy to help. That right, I said, "happy." One the finest details about Marge's, is that they have been Family Owned & Operated for decades. The fine men and women employed at Marge's have all been employed there for more than 15 years. Talk about stability! Their closest competitors can't even come close. i purchased a $400 holiday centerpiece from margie's.  her people packed this in a box, tucking into the box the four top flaps, then they put the centerpiece inside.  i went to take it out today, and there was no way to get it out of the box, nor was there any way to get the flaps out of the way so i could remove the centerpiece.  as a result one of the finials i the centerpiece broke.  i called margie's and complained about the packing.  wellll the nasty owner "kelly" gets on the phone, and she is nasty, said my people know how to pack, you could have "cut it out of the box." really? if that was the only way to get it out, her people should have told me!  they did not!  she was so nasty and refuled to replace a $5.00 finial in this piece!  i then told her i would do my level best to let as many peole as i can how she treats her customers!  (i have spent thousands there).  the reply:  "oh, that's mean!"  mean??? i think it's mean that she won't replace a $5.00 finial!  do not do business here...they are horrible!  they treat their customers like garbage! read more

Marges is packed with stuff, a lot of it quite expensive. You can get many of the items online, for less. Nevertheless, I've shopped here. In my last experience, I had moved, but on a return trip to Florida stopped in at the store and bought several items, and asked they be shipped. When I received the package, a glass item that was bubble wrapped, and placed INSIDE a larger item that was also bubble-wrapped, was cracked. Clearly, the glass had been broken before shipping and was packed that way. When I called, Marges swore that all items had been shipped in good condition and blamed the shipper. Quite a feat for a literally insulated item to crack during shipment. The moral: if you're willing to pay their high prices, then be sure to carry your items out the door yourself, since their packing department is not trustworthy. read more
