I had to do a last minute phone call to many different house cleaning services asking for price quotes and availability by the next day since the new owners of our house are moving in by 5:00 the next day. Ridiculously expensive and did a below-average job cleaning. Charged $160 for a 1 hour job, because "the first visit is $160" minimum. I did not have time to look for someone else so I went ahead with it, but it was very obviously a rushed job. Floors still had stains, streaks on the counters and lots of spots missed when dusting. I scheduled cleaning services with Mari Eli Cleaning Service a few weeks prior to my appointment. They confirmed the appointment multiple times during the week prior to my appointment. They arrived on time. Overall the cleaning was fantastic, there were 3 cleaners and I was pleased with the service. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely plan on having them clean again. There were a few issues/areas of improvement, but the owner definitely seems people friendly and wants to keep the positive review on her business, and I appreciate that. 1. It seemed as if they may have the appointments scheduled back to back, because the housekeepers had not eaten lunch. They brought their lunch to my appointment and asked if they could use the microwave to heat it up and eat. No big deal, but that probably should have taken place prior to the appointment, which caused an issue as you will see in #3. 2. The main housekeeper, V, you could tell she was very detailed oriented and wanted to make sure everything was cleaned to a "T". I loved that. However, the sister-in-law, i noticed in the upstairs rooms (my daughters' room and the guest room) there were still dust on the window shutters and a complete wipe down had not occurred. This was my fault for not noticing prior to them leaving, as I was preparing for my housewarming and trying to get too many things together on my own. 3. There was an issue with the dishwasher, after the housekeepers ate lunch, they placed food in the dishwasher, and did not turn it on to make sure their food was no longer in the sink. I had used it earlier in the morning, and then when i turned it on to push the food to the garbage disposal, it made this loud sound and then stopped working. I attempted to reset it and even googled how to adjust it and no luck. I reached out to Maria and she had her son or son-in-law come out and take a look the next day, come to find out there was a screw in there that may have popped out from them cleaning the overhead lights. I appreciated how fast they were able to get on it and get it working again. It pays to have a handyman in the family. These were just a few hiccups in my experience, but as I stated before, none of the above mentions would stop me from having Mari Eli Cleaning Service clean my home again. I had my home cleaned when i first moved in and it was not even half of what they had done, I had to re-clean it myself. I definitely will be a returning customer. read more

Just moved into my new home. The price for a whole house clean was fair and the workers that cleaned my home were pleasant (although they spoke little English so it was difficult to fully communicate my needs). At first review of their work, it seemed that they did a pretty thorough job. However, now that I'm living in the home and setting things up, I'm seeing a lot of areas they missed. Particularly in the kitchen. Lots of old food and grease stains from previous tenants, as well dirty spots in the bathrooms and along window seals. They are comparable in price to most home Cleaning services, however their communication was much better, this helped me in making a decision to go with them. So far, we've had our initial "deep clean" prior to our bi-weekly cleaning service. Having a "deep clean" prior to any bi-weekly cleaning is fairly standard with companies that clean your home. As far as the initial cleaning went, it was as good as could be expected. The house smelled very clean, all floors, counters, and blinds were cleaned. Bathrooms were well attended to.
