This is one of the most unprofessional businesses that I have dealt with.... I looked at their reviews and thought wow-- they will be awesome and we should totally use them as we are moving to our new home in the couple of weeks. I called yesterday and they said that they would like to come to the house and assess things out so that they can give us an estimate. Since both my husband and I are working, and we are still living at our old place, I asked my husband to re- arrange his schedule so that he can be at our new home when they come at 2:30 pm. At around 2:45 pm he texts me and says how they are not there, so I decide to call them, thinking they are on their way. Mari answers and says how she is really sorry but she lost her cell phone yesterday (of all days, and right after she talked to me). She then proceeds to say that she is still in Dublin, CA but she was able to get a new phone with the same phone number. Our house is in Pleasant Hill, and yet she does not remember any of the conversation and she obviously never planned on coming otherwise she would've had it in her calendar. read more

I've hired Mari Eli for several cleaning jobs, and was very happy with their work each time. My first experience was a move out cleaning of my condo, it was gleaming afterwards, very impressed on how clean they got it. A team of 3 did the cleaning and they got it done in a little over 2 hours. We moved into a single family home and I started a monthly cleaning, 3 cleanings done so far. I'm always looking forward to cleaning day! They do any excellent job, dusting is thorough, floors feel very clean, I feel like they pay a lot of attention to detail. I have made special requests, and each time they've been accommodated. I would say their rates are not the cheapest, probably about average, but it's worth it because you get quality. They did an exceptional job all with a gracious attitude. It was a big job with a lot of dirty work but they didn't seem bothered by it at all. The large home was sparkling clean and organized when they left (a big change from before). Maria and her team were great! I received a confirmation text the day before and four people showed up on time on the day of. They did a fantastic job and were very thorough, cleaning areas I didn't even think of. I want to thank Mari so much for making my move a lot less stressful! I had reached out to Mari via yelp to get a quote on cleaning my apartment. I have had to move in with my mom because my rent was going up too much for me to stay. Mari responded within an hour of me requesting a quote and we worked out a price for her to clean my apartment right before the end of the month. Today, she showed up on time with her sister and coworker. They were ready to get started! 2 hours later she texted me to say she was done. I came to my apartment and it was wonderful! The crew arrived on time, planned out their work within 5 minutes and worked very smartly to capture as much cleaning objectives as possible - windows, floors, carpets, kitchen, bathrooms, beddings, tabletops and walls all have been cleaned - yes, even the walls had some dirt which was cleaned up. After reading good reviews I decided to try their service. But it didn't go so well for a few reasons. First at all, you should to go with this company only if you able to change your schedule at the last minute or have a lot of time to seat around and wait for them since they didn't keep an appointment once on time. Every time I received phone call or text message notifying me they come later or asking if they can come 2-3 hours earlier scheduled time. Annoying. The first cleaning was good, but unfortunately the quality didn't stay the same on following days. Once they hardly enough spend time at my house leaving behind a lot of dust and places they didn't even touch. The argument was they are so busy that day and have to run to another client promising that the next time will be different. Why go to another client if you can't do job on previous one? It wasn't different next time. I had to go after them pointing spots that they missed. Basically cleaning was done only in the middle avoiding cleaning floor under the beds or corners. Unprofessional. I still tried to cooperate thinking it is ok, everybody makes mistakes once in a while. But the next time was hard for me to avoid their moves. After they done cleaning they decided to help me to harvest fruits from the tree on the front of my house and take it with them, as well as some of cleaning supplies that got mixed with their supplies. Stealing. After I let know to the owner Mari about her co-workers actions I didn't get any respond. After 4 months I received a voice message with kinda apologies (not sure, it wasn't that clear that they apologized ) and with a lie that I gave my permission to get fruits from the tree. Why would I do that? If I wanted to share it with them I could give what already were picked up and lying inside the house waiting for a good person to share. "Decorative touches " that somebody mentioned in the previous review... Hated. For some reasons they think they better know where my pillows, pictures, or other small objects should to be. Every time they moved it in different position, and I have to go over my house after they leave and return objects on original place. Thanks, but I can decorate my own house as I like. read more

My Mom was coming to visit and I had to get my home presentable... so I found it necessary to bring in a professional. My neighbor had used Mari Eli Cleaning and they highly recommended them. They had to overcome a massive job of dirt and crap from me, my nephew and the house dog Jackson. These 2 Brazilian women showed up 5 minutes early and wasted no time in gettin' to work. I had to do a few errands and an hour and a half later I returned to a new home!!! They weren't yet finished but I was amazed at what had gotten done in such a short time. One of the ladies even had the dog obeying her and she was speaking Portuguese to him... I was Impressed. In the end the home was spotless, they oiled the furniture in my bedroom and the family room, I was amazed, my old furniture looked brand new. They found almost $3 of change in and around the washing machine and a $5 bill in my Dad easy chair. Somewhere she discovered the Bible my Mom had given me in High School and placed it suspiciously front and center on the coffee table (which I'm sure scored points with Mom!)
