I have been a patient in this office for over 2 decades and always been very pleased with every aspect; especially Dr. Albasha's personality and demeanor. However, my recent experience which lead to her dismissal of me as a patient is quite the opposite shall I say. I ended up with a bacterial infection from a steroid given for an injury and had continued break outs called acne from this in an area very private and difficult to reach as well as in the crease of my leg where I sit. These looked like little volcanoes and were very painful. They also ended up spreading from my lower back all the way up to my bra line. At the second appointment , Dr. Albasha insisted 5xs that I was picking at them when I repeatedly asked why they continued to spread after oral and topical antibiotics. She went so far as to GRAB MY HANDS and look at my nails like I was a 5 year old! I am 53 years old and a patient!!!! Then when calling to give the test results telling me it was a bacterial infection when I asked again why do I continue to get new tiny spots in the uncovered areas? She says..... because you keep picking at them. By now I had enough. I didn't say anything for a couple of days and then it was time to propose a question to her and I did just that. I left a voicemail on her assistant's line and stated that I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone in leaving this message on this line as this assistant did not ever return my call after I sent a picture of my face after I left a message stating I broke out on my face and had taken a picture and wanted to know if there was somewhere I could send it and what to do since I had never heard from her. So perhaps she and Dr. Al-Basha could find some compassion for their patients who were in pain like me from my injury, then hit with the volcanic explosion of a break out which was so painful and instead of constantly insisting that I was picking at them, try listening to their patients instead of thinking they are lying to them. And for Dr. Al-Basha I'd like to propose a question. How would I be able to pick at this area when I am 90% in bed and 10% out with a cane! 2 days later left a message on another line for nurses I was still breaking out. 2 days from that same line that I was still breaking out and was very concerned since this was bacterial and that I assume Dr. Al-Basha no longer wanted to see me as a patient although I had been hers for over 2decades and if I was mistaken to contact me at my number. Well, we all know she never called back. I'm so tired of these Dr.'s thinking they are the divine power and can mistreat their patients and behave however they want to and no one can do anything about it. Guess What! We can! Grievance. And not with holding your oath taken to be licensed as a physician!!! If I could give you a .25 if a star you wouldn't deserve that! read more

The doctor is really pretty good, but the customer service is AWFUL. I'd seen warnings of their awful customer service on other sites, but I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. How wrong I was! I've called several times over the last few weeks, and I've gotten no response when I leave a voicemail, or when I do get a response, I'm bounced around from station to station with extreme rudeness. I've never complained about a doctor or doctor's office before, but this is the worst experience I've ever had. If the doctor wasn't as good as she is, I'd have given up long ago. But now i'm at my wits end and I can't tolerate anymore of this sophomoric and rude behavior. Time to find a new doctor. :( read more

I am a medical provider who went to this office for a routine skin check. The appointment was satisfactory; nothing special but I have had several months of frustrating experiences since then. The billing is incredibly disorganized and I would never go back after my experience l- it's long but detailed below. I have health insurance and gave them my card, which they copied the day of my appointment. I received 3 or 4 calls from a "caller ID blocked" number with someone with a heavy accent asking for my personal information a few months after my appointment. I thought it was a scammer, so I never gave my info. Then I received a bill and none of my appointment was covered. Turns out it wasn't submitted to my insurance. I called the billing office and gave them all of my info again and they told me not to pay the bill and I would hear from them if I owed anything. A few weeks later I got a letter threatening to send me to collections. I tried calling the number provided on the letter twice with no response and left voicemails. I finally got a call back last week and they tell me they never submitted it to my insurance. WTF. Get it together. read more

I went to Edgebrook Dermatology for a laser procedure. The first treatment was fine. The second time I went they charged me double (over $800) but didn't tell me until afterwards, just stuck me with this huge bill. Definitely never going back there. Totally feel ripped off. STAY AWAY!!! read more
