our favorite local restaurant by far! this place is always busy but we somehow never have to wait long to be seated. their chips and salsa are the best around, and their food is consistently delicious. friendly service and clean, colorful environment. i recommend this place to everyone who visits us in Medina!

Really pleasantly surprised by this place! They had lots of different food options, including pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan. All of our food was really good! They brought chips and salsa out right after we were seated and they were definitely homemade. I love that they had a kid's menu, including fries! because I feel like a lot of Mexican places don't. They also had a full-on changing table in the very clean women's room. If you are in the area, definitely check out this hidden gem!

Delicious homemade, fresh Mexican food. Very friendly and welcoming place. Clean and comfortable with attention to detail. I absolutely enjoyed everything I had. Skip the $5 margarita special and go to the bar menu. If you enjoy tequila and mezcal, like I do, you'll have a nice selection to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

In my opinion this is one of the most outstanding restaurants I have been to . Restaurant was very clean the noise level was acceptable even though the restaurant was crowded and all tables were taken has a very nice outside patio also I had El Marinaro seafood over bed of rice fish octopus shrimp it was just delicious I finished off my meal with black beans and rice and a bottle of Dos Equis amber To my surprise our server did not know the most interesting man in the world . Maritza R was my server and she made The meal so much more enjoyable she was a absolute outstanding I enjoy talking to her she made the dining experience so much better just an outstanding server and employee of this restaurant. If you're driving or visiting Medina New York and you don't stop here shame on you You're missing a great meal and a great experience in dining . You might enjoy sitting at the bar it's very small but the bar stools have horse saddles on them

Not bad for a little county Mexican joint! I had the spicy fajitas that had chicken, steak , and shrimp. Very nice serving and had to take some home with me. The pico de Gallo was delicious! They need to sale that at a store. The spot is small, but so is the county. They had every table filled the entire time, so I assume it's a town favorite. I did not drink at this restaurant BUT the tequila selection was impressive. They had some of my favorite top shelf liquors, so if you are looking for a nice Margarita I would def suggest this place.

Great find! Stopped in to order take out, ended up ordering and eating at the bar. Food was good, but the berry mojito was better! Bartender was friendly and helpful... there are many more items on the menu that I want to try, so I'll be back!

We think this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food has authentic flavors, the service is prompt & professional, the ambiance upbeat and the price is reasonable. They have a covered outdoor patio in summer. Stop in soon.

With fast and friendly service I received my bean Burrito which included lettuce and tomatoes and was tasty. They offer complimentary chips and salsa ,which were fresh and crunchy. You can order tacos, Burritos or quesadillas .Plus they make a yummy fried ice cream for dessert.

The taco truck is open Friday Saturday and Sunday and there are several socially distanced picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas and some without. It was a nice day so we sat in the sun. My diablas torta (chorizo & carne asada) was delicious with slices of avocado, onion, lettuce and peppers. Unlike most tortas I've had they were light with the mayo which is appreciated when you're having something as decadent as chorizo and steak. The bread was amazing and fresh as well. Great sandwich. The bf has lengua, carnitas and diabla tacos and enjoyed them all. We had horchata and Jamaica to drink. The Jamaica was not too sweet which was nice. The horchata was very good. My biggest problem with the aguas frescas set up was the multitude of yellow jackets attacking the drink dispensers which were set up for self service. I had wanted limonada but the bees were particularly interested in the dispenser for that one. We also checked out the store next door and picked up a packet of hot homemade tamales (also delicious) as well as some chorizo, hot sauce and drinks. Highly recommended weekend trip.

We were informed that it was just around the corner. We strolled Medina's quaint Main St. to our dining destination. It has a narrow front but stretches back from Main for a great distance. The bar is very unusual. The name Mile 303 comes from the fact that Medina is 303 miles from New York Harbor via the historic Erie Barge Canal. That explained the unusual bar. The Bar is actually a Stylized Map of The Canal. Our Server delivered an impressive menu of drink options. They had everything Beer, Wine, Cocktails and Hard Cider. The Food Menu was not extensive but that is not a bad thing. My Wife picked out the Tacos. She informed me that they were quite different and quite tasty. I ordered The Bolonaise. I got extra wide pasta and a very nice sauce. Like many restaurants in Niagara and Orleans Counties this place is farm to fork. I am going back to this Restaurnt when the opportunity arises.

The man working at the register is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and the service here is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a handful of tacos including vegetation, chorizo, carnitas, birria and two others I can't remember. Since it was our first time here I also wanted to try some of the sides to compare to my favorite Mexican spots and we ended up with chips, queso, beans, and chocolate tres leches cake. The toppings bar is absolutely the best in Western, NY with anything that you can imagine (except for radish slices). Our food was ready in just a few short minutes and all was to our liking. My husband felt that the birria was a little bland and I thought the beans were a little too soupy, but considering the spread we ordered and the excellent service that can be forgiven. There's good energy here. It's also been cool to watch them grow from a food truck in a parking lot to a full restaurant. A big part of what makes this place work is Ivan( the guy at the counter). Not to be confused with "Mexican Pradas", knock off handbags. Hidden in Albion, NY, this secret…read morespot has some of the very best tacos & sopes in the USA. Named after race-car driver Lorenzo Llamas. Luckily he doesn't use any of his infamous namesake "Llamas" as meat here. Gives new meaning to the query "como te llamas?" And to "alpaca lunch for you." Lorenzo's ex-wife is Shauna Sand, but she didn't teach him to make food this good. She looks like she's never had a taco in her life. Yet she does have a taco. It's well-publicized, everyone's seen it. But the point is, Lorenzo Llamas does not use Llamas to make his tacos. What to get: best authentic sopes & tacos this side of Steve Guttenberg's basement And: tortas are really good too Plus: real mexican sodas and coke with real sugar, plus free menudo on fridays Tips?: 5 types of salsa or more. Dark smoky red one is not always available but is the best. Yellow oily watery alcoholic one with big chunks of pepper in it is delicious. And: Amazing customer service. The teenage boy and young girl are absolutely adorable. The owners are great too. The female chefs are lovely, if very busy. They've served me at 8.57pm even though their food takes 15 min to make, and they close at 9! Fantastic. Warning: only open 3 days a week. Fri, Sat, Sun - late morning, until 9pm. Don't here too close to 9. If you do, then get it to go. If this were a high fashion taco outlet, it'd be Ralph Laurenzo's. Whereas if Mariska Hargitay owned it, it'd be Lorenzo & Order: Sope Victims Unit. But then we'd have problems, and I don't think we could solve 'um. The amazing smoky salsa does look like "bad blood" come to mention it. Not that I know much about blood. Unless I'm drinking it in the middle of the night while avoiding crosses. I can't believe this exists in WNY. Not only is it authentic, it's one of the most delicious taquerias in the country. It caters almost entirely to Mexicans. Several employees don't even speak English. It's part of a Latin grocery store filled with delights. But the true gems are the hot prepared foods coming out of the kitchen. They only make 3 things here, if you don't count the delicious, greasy Menudo they hand out free on Fridays. (1) Amazing tacos. (2) Even better Sopes. (3) Very good Tortas. While the tortas are fantastic and the bread is heavenly, I'd recommend skipping them, since (a) they cost $8, and (b) the $5 versions down the road in Medina (Monte Alban Truck) are even better and covered in Mexican white cheese. But if you do get a torta here, smother it in the smoky dark red salsa, and always ask for avocado on it. The food is from Chihuahua in NE Mexico, by the Texas border. The tacos are heaven. The sopes are better. They're similarly sized and priced (around $2 each or 5 for $7), but they're quite different. Tacos are floppy soft corn tortillas, 2-ply, loaded with bits of your meat of choice, plus onions and cilantro, then salsa, radish & lime on the side. Sopes are harder, thicker, greasier squidgy doughy chewy fried corn bases, like a mini pizza bases, topped with meat of choice as well as cream, cheese, onions, cilantro and whatever else. Similar to "picaditas". The sopes win, although both are perfect. Meat choices: Cabeza and Tripa - brain and intestines, nah. Lengua - tongue, nah, but my brother had it, loved it. Asada - bits of steak, delicious. Pollo - I usually skip chicken but the spiced, marinaded, smoky flavour here is amazing. Carnitas - really good stewed pork, give this one a try. Barbacoa - juicy, similar to Carnitas with beef. Worth a try. Pastor - star of the show. Dark, smoky, delicious marinaded pork. Asada, Pollo and Pastor are my faves. There's a reason Lorenzo's only makes 3 things, and why it's always packed. It's absolutely freaking delicious. Salsas: Green - hot, tastes a little of guac. Light Red - very hot, tastes of fire. Dark Red - hot, deep, dark, smoky and rich, by far the best one. Yellow - super hot, do not try it. Yellow with bits of peppers visible in it - hot, delicious, made with alcohol, the 2nd best. Try all 5 but be careful. They are so hot, they will burn your mouth out. Also you can get Jarritos soda (try Mandarina and Tamarindo) here. And Mexican Coke regular (1.85) and medio litro (2.50). All soda made with real cane sugar and you can really taste it. One of the best taquerias in the USA. You absolutely must get out here and try it. It makes no sense that Lorenzo's exists so close to Rochester and Buffalo - two cities with no authentic Mexican (except the home cooking of Buffalo's Valle - tacos and tortas are not the best items). Need affordable lease housing? Look for "low-rent-homes." Packet of mints just fell onto the floor? They're "low-mentos." Have an intimate knowledge of the former Fu-Gees singer? Then you know "Laurynsholes." And you know you'd better watch out. Some girls are only about that thing. But this is not that thing, nor any of those things. This is Lorenzo's.
