A cozy Mexican restaurant with very kind waitstaff and decent food. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended dishes visitors typically enjoyed. The salsa was the highlight of the experience and seemed really well made. The chicken inside of the dishes was pretty dry but the overall flavor of sauces was pretty good. The bathroom unfortunately was clogged when we went. Overall it's not a bad spot for cozy Mexican food but there's probably better in the area. read more

Absolute hidden gem. Already planning our next visit. First impressions last, and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Service was excellent. I ordered the chile relleno poblano with chicken and it was beyond words. One of the best things I've eaten in a long time, truly reminiscent of my father's cooking. The food is great no complaints! The decor and seating Is very nice and up to date. It's a little pricey for standard Mexican American food. You could tell they were working on training and figuring out the register system. I was disappointed when we went they did not have their liquor license. I dined here with my sister when I stayed with her in April 2024. The food was flavorful and very good. The waiter's English was not very good and I wanted a pot of hot tea. And I told him about another restaurant that heated their unsweetened tea for me since they didn't have teabags. The waiter brought me an ice cold unsweetened tea. And I asked for a dessert like churros but did not want any chocolate or caramel sauce on the side. I waited approximately 15 minutes and nothing came out, so we left after receiving and paying the bill. The restaurant was nicely decorated and it wasn't busy on a weeknight, so there was no noise from other patrons. The ambiance was nice and it was nicely decorated. read more

We have been here a few times now and have been super happy with the service and food. The tables are spread nicely apart with high backs for privacy and the ambiance is fun and updated. We have ordered the taquitos, chimichanga and Santa Fe burrito and everything was hot, fresh and tasty! read more

Food is not that great. Had a burrito which was HUGE .....too big. It was wrapped in a soggy flour tortilla. The rice and refried beans which are normally on the plate were inside the burrito......yuk. read more

I'm from the south so a bit spoiled on Mexican food so there's that.. Apparently we don't do Charro Beans at this fine establishment. The hamburger meat in the soft taco was a minced mess. The salsa wasn't spicy but the flavors were ok. Clean w-nice decor. There's another place in town that was a bit cheaper but neither were impressive. read more

This restaurant in Niagara Falls just opened up not very long ago and my family and I were excited to try a new Mexican-American restaurant. When we arrived, we were impressed by the impeccably clean restaurant and bar. It was very attractively designed with lots of Mexican themed artwork throughout the establishment. There was a large party of 20-30 people seated just before we came in and lots of other patrons as well. We were seated with just a minimal wait time and the waiter brought our drinks and chips and salsa right away and everything seemed great. He took our order and we thought everything would be great. Well we finished the bowl of chips and the waiter offered to bring more, but being on a diet, we said no. But usually by this time, we knew to expect our entrees. The waiter refilled our drinks and we waited and waited. And waited some more. The large party got their orders of food and so we assumed that the kitchen had been tied up with getting their food out. The waiter came by and pretty much confirmed this, and said that our food would be right up, any minute now. So we waited longer. And waited and waited. Eventually the waiter came around again and said that he was so sorry for making us wait that the kitchen had lost our order in the mad shuffle to get the large party out. Finally the food did arrive and we were so glad to get it, about 90 minutes or more. I had the Carne Asada and my daughter had Chicken tacos, and my husband had Chicken tacos as well. I have had Carne Asada prepared at many other Tex-Mex type restaurants but I was terribly surprised when I bit into this. The Carne Asada was plain and completely unseasoned. It was so bland. The Spanish rice was also cold. The way that the food was just thrown together on the plate looked like it had been made by someone who didn't know what they were doing. I have never seen green onions cooked like that. My daughter and husband both had a consomme dip for their tacos which was both cold and bland. The chicken in their tacos was also unseasoned and bland. They reported their rice and refried beans were also cold. I don't understand how people say their food is so wonderful when the meal we got was so .... not. We were happy enough to pay the bill just to get out of the place and get on with our lives. We may be back for one more try, but I am not optimistic. read more

this has nothing to do with the location in Batavia. me and my family visited the one in Niagara Falls and the service was so slow that our food was cold by the time it got to us. the carnitas we over cooked and there was no spice whatsoever on any of the food. I am very disappointed as I love Mexican food and have had it in many different states. I would have to say do not go to the one in Niagara Falls. also when we got there i waited 15 minutes to get seated and 45 mins to get food and it wasn't even busy. just a while in the wall restaurant with a very slow staff. ambiance was ok felt a little ghetto with the setup. but they are still new there. read more

The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting. The food is amazing and the staff seems to try and go above and beyond. Free chips and salsa is also a nice touch! Definitely recommend. read more

Let me start by saying. This restaurant has only been open for 2 weeks at this point. In the 2 weeks they have been open, this would have been my 3rd time ordering from them. Each time i went, The same owner/manager was at the front counter. I am not any easy person to forget. On this day, I ordered using Chow now which i had done both other times i had visited their restaurant. When I got to the restaurant they said they didn't have my order. Even though I showed him the order, confirmation number, And even Showed him on my mobile banking app. That his company senior Leon . Had already taken the money from my bank account. He refused to make and give me what i had ordered and already paid for. I was sent to way to go argue with Chow now through some texting app for an hour to get my money back. In Today's day and age we are all very busy, and that's why we use convenient things like ordering apps. I myself have worked in the restaurant industry for 20 plus years. No restaurant I have ever worked at would have had turned the customer away to go deal with this problem themselves, Instead we would have dealt with it ourselves and given the customer what they had ordered. Don't get me wrong. The food here was good. That's why I Was ordering there for the 3rd time in just 2 weeks. I love ethnic food. And I would have been a great customer. Placed a To Go order at the counter and everything was wrong except for the taco salad when they gave it to me. Paid $47 for 1 taco salad. Called to get a refund and was told they would call me back. Still waiting. Not impressed at all. The taco salad was less than impressive, the pico de gallo had no flavor, the beef had no seasoning or flavor, and the chips were stale. Had a large cucumber jalapeno margarita that I do not typically see other places, and a burrito bowl that was delicious. Lunch. This restaurant is in the strip mall and just opened about a week ago. It's nice to see that they have a slightly more modern decor than other traditional American Mexican restaurants. It was very comfortable. The greeter at the front was very friendly, the service was nearly flawless. We were there for lunch and had a Fajita Burrito and the Pollo Asada. The menu requires a magnifying glass to read and its pretty much what's expected for common Amer-Mex food. Why does every place have a lunch item called Speedy Gonzales? The food was good, we enjoyed it, a bit better than the other similar restaurant across town. The presentation was much better. Salsa had a good medium kick. The desert churros with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and fruit are to die for. A few issues of course, there were two music stations playing at the same time. Couple that with two TVs with volume on, both on political channels, made for a head ache inducing cacophony. Suggest find some sports or alienate 50% of your customers and for crying out loud, turn the volume off!! After some discussion they managed to eliminate one of the music sources. Thank you. The TVs remained up. Beware, an iced tea costs $4 here, about 10 cents worth of materials and a diet coke is $3. No refills were offered. $43 for two lunches with desert and queso. Its better than the other place, I will probably go back and try some of their other items. read more

The food was very tasty, I've been to Mexico numerous times and they make some authentic flavor and very fresh tasting food. I'm also happy with there I Horchata which is a cinnamon rice milk beverage it's a hard drink to master but theres is tasty in my opinion read more

Wife and I had dinner there last week after getting recommendations I must say unfortunately it was the worst Mexican restaurant I ever went to besides being overly priced,(the bill was $100 after tip with one drink apiece)!!! I ordered the three enchiladas dish with three different sauces, but I hardly got any sauce for them and a Chile Riano side dish. The cheese tasted and smelled like olives. It had a weird tangy taste even the complementary salsa and chips. The salsa was so bitter you hardly tasted any tomato. It was just a bitter taste, my wife had the fajita combo steak and chicken steak was tough. Peppers were under cooked charge $2.50 for a little side cup of sour cream. Our waiter had the attitude that we were bothersome and couldn't wait to get away every time he came to our table very standoffish. Oh well I guess you don't know about restaurants until you try them but suffice it to say we won't be going back. How can you screw up Mexican food that bad??? read more
