Kelly did my makeup for a wedding I was attending. I wasn't in the wedding I was just a guest but I wanted to look my best. My makeup was natural and she made me look so beautiful. I received so many compliments throughout the night and even the pictures looked amazing. She does airbrush. I text and read through about 5 makeup artist but Kelly's profile, resume, portfolio is so impressive. After reading everyones I decided to go with Kelly. I made the right choice. She also did my makeup perfect and as she promised, it lasted the entire day and through the night! I was airbrushed but it did not look cakey at all which I was worried about after talking to some people. She also gave me a little bit of the lipstick she used so I could reapply it if needed. I would highly recommend Kelly for any of your makeup needs! I've attached a few pictures and I'm sorry I don't have any "before" shots to compare to. Anna and Liana did the makeup and hair for 4 people on my wedding day and they did not disappoint. We got compliments all day. The makeup really popped out in person and I was initially taken aback even though the look was what I requested. But wow the photos came out amazing. They're so great- you can tell them exactly what you want and they will do it for you. They are true professionals. My makeup stayed on all day, through tears and a lot of running around. What I love most about her is she makes my clients (brides) feel comfortable and leaves them looking like a beautifully enhanced version of themselves on their wedding day unlike some artists who will make the client look like a completely different person with the amount of makeup they apply. She has a great eye for what will look good both in person and on camera. She also has great time management, she is great at getting all bridal party + brides make-up done efficiently and on time, which is every coordinator (and photographers) dream!

I did my due diligence with research and was pleased that she had a well-maintained website, great reviews, and a contact form. Despite the fact that I contacted her within less than a week before my shoot, she responded promptly and eagerly to my request, and took my deposit via Venmo (so easy). I sent her some samples of styles I liked and she said we could discuss more the day of, combined with my outfit, to ensure we were on the same page and I was satisfied with her work. She arrived to my house early and set up. She comes prepared for everything and has high-quality brands such as MAC and NARS. She even brings her own extension cord, which is really smart! We decided on a dark purple eye and red lips for my makeup. She has a very light hand and her application felt smooth, never cakey. Her brushes are soft and I could tell she keeps them clean and in great condition. I appreciated that her approach was collaborative and she asked me throughout the session what I thought of the work. The falsies we picked out together blended seamlessly into my already-long natural lashes, which I absolutely loved. She also took her time to ensure everything looked blended and put together. The look ended up appearing exaggerated, but that was perfect for my purposes since this was specifically so it would photograph well. My hair turned out fantastic as well. This was quicker than makeup, but my curls held up very well given that I was dancing in the photoshoot. She knows hair and loves learning more about it; I love that she is always looking to expand her knowledge rather than being set in her own ways. In addition to the excellent quality of her work, Michelle is incredibly warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. I definitely felt comfortable spending two hours alone with her because it is apparent she is so passionate about her job. All in all, Michelle is an immensely talented and personable hair/makeup artist, with very fair pricing to boot. I'm not sure when I will next need these services done, but when I do, I know I will contact her, and I highly recommend you do the same!
