Marian's is a one sub stop, Italian Sandwich, done very well. The only variables are the veggies. These Italian subs are great!

Just like I remember it. I grew up eating subs from Marian's and I always loved them. They became my favorite sub and nothing ever compared to them. All these years later, they are just as good. It had been almost 10 years since I last ate one. Each bite took me back to my childhood. Place only makes one type of sandwich. That blows my mind. A so-called Italian, but has none of the Italian meats. I think they even use bologna. Don't like to bash people's business, but they need to get it together. I heard it had been doing this for a while so they must be doing something right. We have lived in Ruskin 5yrs and we are just now having are frist Sub and I must say that We were surely missing out I ordered a full 16" for myself and husband had1/2 made no peppers and no onions and the other 1/2 no peppers and light lettuce with the sub lightly toasted and I must say when I got it home it was made as ordered and it was very delish We will definitely be enjoying another sub soon read more

Finally! a place that I can finally go to close to my house that's actually worth a five-star rating. Customer service was perfect location was perfect and all around good experience. Marion's subs is located right next door to the taco shop in Ruskin off of college and the 41. When you first pull up it's not much of a sight, when you walk inside it's not much of site in there either. When you look up to see what's on the menu it's true it's only one item a whole or half you choose. Just like the menu you have very slim toppings to choose from they go in order tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle, pepper, and oil. I did ask for mayo and mustard but they said no they don't have that. Once it's in its wrapper and in your hand on your way home you can smell the goodness throughout the truck. I got home open it up and my first bite was just out of this world. Got done with the first half and decided I probably should only order a half instead of a whole next time. I can't remember what the price was for a half but the whole was nine dollars. I will definitely be hitting this place up again in the future especially when I go fishing this will make a good sandwich on the boat. read more

We've also traveled all over the U.S. and Europe and I stand by this statement! BEST! I love the service -- you order at the counter or call in.... and the ladies there really care about making your order perfect! We hadn't been there in about a year and they still remembered me today! Subs are still as crazy good as ever! Really kind people work there and they make great subs! One sub feeds two people amply with some chips and a cold drink... unless you have a really big appetite. Whole subs are about 18". They cut the whole sub in half. Everyone raved about the sub shop I don't see what all the big hype is about the sandwiches are gross. Of course this is my opinion and it's just not my type of sandwich. This one was drowned in some kind of marinade and was basically just like a bologna sandwich. Nothing special or fresh really about it at all. In a word ; YUCK ! They only make one meat choice of sandwich - so you might think that they would be the best at it but sadly NO ! I purchased a half and was offered a few toppings to customize the sub and then the woman turned around and walked to the cooler and pulled out a pre-assembled sandwich wrapped in plastic . What a let down ! The meat is a bologna , salami hybrid with bad texture straight out of a 1970's school lunchroom . The tomatoes were almost liquified . I have lived in Ruskin since 1995 so I'm a local and I have asked around with my neighbors if they have tried this sandwich and we all agree it's bad .
