This spot is great if you want something quick, tasty and reasonably priced. I love coming here to grab a chocolate muffin in the mornings. I have also had their salmon croissant. Both are very tasty. The inside is nice and they have a good amount of tables outdoors if you want to sit outside. The apple tart I had was delicious, on the sweet side and tasted of cinnamon. The tart looked like a traditional tarte tatin, but the cinnamon flavor reminded me of an American apple pie... so the apple tart was a tarte tatin adapted for local tastes. I stopped by the cafe in Midtown for lunch. Had the goat cheese quiche and a butter croissant. The quiche was good, but I've had better. I tasted the goat cheese, but I thought the quiche was supposed to have roasted vegetables: I only found one or two chunks of roasted tomatoes. The croissant was buttery, crunchy, and rather airy. This is a local branch... there are hundreds Marie Blachère locations in France... amazing to find them here! Just a month ago we were at one of their locations in Les Sables d'Olonne. The selection is similar, but the coffee here is not the same. Everything we tried was quite good, especially the spinach breakfast pastry. Of course, you can't go wrong with a chocolate croissant. I recently read that a Marie Blanchere opened in midtown so I came to check it out! As soon as I walked in I was kindly greeted by staff. They were super helpful with any questions I might have had. The space is big and nice. Lots of seating inside and outside. Soo many options for pastries, bites, and drinks. The prices are also a bang for your buck. We tried the cheese danish and the pain au chocolate. The cheese danish was the star of the show. Delicious, flaky, and flavorful. It's really hard for me to rate this place. When I first walked in, I could smell the scent, of fresh baked bread which was really lovely. All of the pastries looked really delicious. I found the staff not necessarily the warmest but polite. I ordered a Matcha latte, which unfortunately was not good. To be fair I don't think matcha is their specialty. I noticed a lot of people were having coffee so I probably should've went with that. I also ordered a croissant, and it was really buttery and flaky, which I quite enjoyed. I get breakfast here at least once a week. The service and food is great. The food and pastries are fresh everyday. They make the best almond croissant that I've ever had. Do keep in mind that most times they do have a long line, but it goes by quick. I recommend going between 7-8 am, right after they open. read more

Actually quite lovely! This just opened, and I was excited to try it because of the window display. After finishing my lunch, I googled because I was curious (says est 2004) and realized it's a French chain that sells 280 million baguettes a year this makes sense since the baguette used for the sandwich was very very good. I had a croque monseuir, a sandwich with Brie and some sort of meat, and a salad with lentils. These three things were all very very solid and exactly what I expected. They will warm up the sandwiches for you if you're sticking around to eat in. The croissant I got was softer - maybe this is their thing, but I'm someone who really wants the crispy flaky texture! Service is VERY friendly. Prices are fair. Ambience is pretty standard re a cafe. Definitely will be returning for pastries and for lunch. read more

My husband came by today and bought a chicken wrap. salmon wrap, a Madeline cookie and iced coffee, I'm from LA and my husband is from Miami so it's rare to see nice people serving here that speaks English "no disrespect intended" . I order my meal and a lady with glasses took my order. She was swiped nice and food was good. We sat on a table outside which belonged to the other restaurant so the lady came out and explained to move to the other side because those tables belonged to the burger joint. The food, was so good I got 4 items and loved each one then went back bought 4 More to go. The coffee and teas were on point. And the prices were reasonable for a chic place in design district! What lovely place for lunch or a pick up any time of day. The most beautiful looking sandwiches, bread, sweets, and tasty, too. They offer specials, with my petite baguette sandwich, a coffee was $2 - what a deal. Another deal is if you add on a pastry. I've been on a HUNT to find the cutest and yummiest coffee shops to eat at here in Miami..I THINK I FOUND IT! The vibe in this place is just sooo cozy, it doesn't even feel like you're in a coffee shop. As soon as I walked in I was in AWE of alllll the variety of pastries, baguettes and croissants, I wanted to take the entire shop home!! The service was amazing, the cashier gave me her recommendations on which coffee to try and what pastries were good and she did not miss! I got a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk - let's talk about it: I don't know what they use to make the coffee/latte's but this was amazingly THICK and the perfect amount of pumpkin taste, I was hooked after my first sip. 10/10! I then got the "Croffin Cream" pastry, which for the price is so worth it because it's HUGE. It was such a delight. So airy, crunchy and creamy in all the right places. You need to try this place!
