Fortunately, I was referred to Brodsky Orthodontics. When I saw Joel, he was completely upfront with me. He gently asked why I was even there with that retainer, explaining that it wasn't going to straighten my teeth at all, it would only hold them in their current, shifted position. While I was annoyed that my previous provider had me pay for a retainer that couldn't fix the issue, I was incredibly relieved to have landed at Brodsky. Joel was honest, clear, and walked me through everything every step of the way. My entire experience was amazing. I'm so excited to start my Invisalign journey with them, and I've already recommended them to my sister! He took the time to explain to me not just what his recommendations were, but the WHY behind them; I didn't feel rushed as I asked follow up questions, which I really appreciated. His staff was very friendly, patient, quick to respond to messages, made my child feel at ease, welcome, and part of the process. Even though it's a 40min drive each way for our appointments, and my insurance doesn't cover orthodontics, this was clearly the right choice based on the treatment plan, as it actually made sense, and my child's treatment requiring more than just braces throughout the process. I really should have written a review for them years ago but haven't. My kids are now 14 and 17 and they have probably been patients here for maybe 10 years at this point. They have never complained. I remember when they were toddlers/little kids, the doctors would explain each tool and showed them what kind of noises it made and told them what they do. My kids have gotten their cavities filled and probably a tooth or 2 pulled out in their lives here and have never complained about it after ever. And I think it completely has something to do with how much they taught them about the tools when they were younger to completely remove all dental anxiety during youth and now teenage years. This place is in no way shape or form a "children's" dental office but they do such a great job with kids because they work with them as learning people. Don't fall for colorful offices and video games. Keep it simple. Also. Their cleanings are pretty affordable! My kids are here every 3 months and their cleanings are half the cost of mines somewhere else.
