We were referred to Dr. Doulaverakis (do-LAH-ver-AA-kis) by our kid's normal dentist because it became evident early on that his mouth was too narrow as his permanent teeth coming up were all over the place. On the initial consultation, staff took photos and measurements and then the Dr. came in to do an evaluation, explain what she sees is the issue and proposes the plan of action. I thought whoever saw my kid's snaggleteeth would immediately say "BRACES. NOW!", but Dr. D said that they would first approach this with trying to make enough room with a palatal expander that would widen the upper jaw. Once the upper jaw is widened, the lower follows suit on its own (had no idea about this...you really do learn something new every day!). If that didn't correct the issue, they would recommend next steps...braces perhaps. So the doc explained everything and provided a timeline and cost schedule for this initial treatment. She did a very good job of thoroughly explaining everything, breaking down what the costs include, and was patient with all of my questions. Dr. D has very good rapport with my young son, so he's not afraid of checkups here. Front of office staff and dental assistants have all been very friendly, kind, and helpful whenever we've had an appointment. During Halloween season they would hide a little ghost stuffed animal somewhere in the office and if your child finds it and tells reception, they receive extra entries into a monthly drawing. Each month they hold drawings for neat prizes and gift cards. Also, once you start getting services here they give you a Dr. Ortho t-shirt, and if you come in your tee to your appt, you receive extra entries. Fun for the kiddos! Orthodontia is def not inexpensive, but when necessary it's nice to go to a Dr. that you are confident in and one whose office is clean and comfortable with staff that are helpful, capable, and kind. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Doulaverakis to someone wanting a referral to an orthodontist. read more

My review is long over due. The orthodontics office of Dr. Marie Doulaverakis is the best ortho office that exists. From my first consultation, to getting my braces, to removing my braces, I have been extremely satisfied with all of there services. Now, two years later & I am still being scheduled for regular check ups on my teeth & retainers. There appointment system is also the best, they don't over book appointments like other places. No kidding the most I've waited when I had an appointment was at the most 5 minutes. They also offer installment payment plans for braces. Lastly, ALL of the staff is extremely friendly & professional & treat you like family. I definitely recommend Dr. Marie Doulaverakis & her staff for your orthodontic needs! read more

My experiences with Dr. D and her staff were entirely positive. The technicians were kind and gentle, admin staff worked effectively with my insurance company and Dr. D was very helpful, giving me treatment options and letting me know what was going on during the 18ish months that I wore braces. When (if) my son needs Braces he'll certainly be going to Dr. D. I can wholeheartedly recommend her. Though if I had to do it again, I'd probably choose Invisilign, which she offers. read more

I originally went to another ortho for my son and that ortho clinic was charging me more than $2000. I am so glad I found this place. I saved a lot of money. It turns out my son only needs braces on the top and retainers on the bottom. Also, I asked something about my other son just to asked about him grinding his teeth while sleeping. She went ahead and looked my sons teeth and gave him a mouth guard for free. Also, the staff are very nice and friendly. read more

I started my braces treatment here, so far so good. Everybody in this office is very nice from the front office to the dental assistants to the doctor....everyone is A1. They'll work with your schedule and even have Saturday appointments for people who work all week....I'd recommend this dental office for anybody who's looking to get braces ....I still haven't won any raffles though so hopefully I will soon haha read more

I am usually very critical with my stars, but with Doctor Marie and her staff, it's very hard to deny. They have been consistently good with the kids, keeping them calm and an extreme conscious effort to keep appointments on time. There have been MANY instances when my son would bend his wires or lose his rubber bands and they would always accommodate so a little boy would not have to sleep with metal sticking out his mouth. This has got to be the best doctor's office I have been to and I have been to many. All the girls at the front desk are amazing! I had my braces with Dr. Doulaverakis after going to other orthodontists who would only give me the option to extract my tooth in order to repair my smile Dr. Doulaverakis repaired my smile without any tooth extractions something other orthodontist could not do. All her assistants remember your name and everyone at the office is so kind and really involve in your treatment. Appointments are accommodating and I never not once had to wait in the waiting area to be seen. The office offers convenient and easy payment plans that are manageable. I will be taking my son for his braces soon with Dr. Doulaverakis and would not consider any other orthodontist. I guarantee you won't regret going here. Best decision I ever made. Dr. Doulaverakis is so sweet and very knowledgeable. Since this ordeal is something that will make a lasting impacts on both my kids, I needed to look for the right ortho. I've been to other orthodontists for a consultation for both my kids and none met my expectations. They're all giving me "what if's quotes". None saw my kids cross over bites!! I mean, how could you if you won't go to the extreme measures to X-ray their teeth. Dr. D X-ray their teeth, therefore was able to let me know exactly what she's fixing. For that reason, I guarantee she cares about her patience smile and well being. All that was just about Dr. D!! Now to the staff.....They're super sweet, very warm, extremely knowledgeable, and did I say sweet??!!! I love all her staff members. From the front desk to her assistance. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about Dr. D and her staff members. Oh, another plus is that if u have an appt at a certain time....they let u in immediately!!!
