The best I've had in a good while... and I have a few places under my belt (Lo-Lo's in Phoenix, May's Counter in Tucson, and The Red Door in Little Rock.) The chicken was lightly breaded, the waffles fluffy, sweet with a syrup that I can't place, and a little spice from what I believe to be Sriacha. It was so delicious, because the flavors melded together perfectly. The Chicken and Waffles was their signature dish, it came with a $10 price tag, and it was so incredibly worth it. There were other options, and they change daily. Let's just say I'll be back for the "Pig In A Blanket." (I just recently heard about the Waffle Wagon a week ago. I've been waiting to find them within close proximity for lunch, and I am glad I found them at this small venue.) As for BlackHound, I was flying solo, and not feeling like a fat kid. Then, after stopping the service we were still charged, and they now won't return my calls and messages to get refunded. Clearly, this company does not keep track of their billing and accounting and are not worried that they overcharged and are not in a hurry to resolve the issue. My next stop is the BBB and the attorney general.

I also grabbed a jar of blackberry jelly which looked to have been made in small batches. The sandwich was very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that it was maybe on the small side considering the price but nothing to get too upset about. The steak was great. I made a homemade marinade and let it sit for several hours. I slapped it on the grill, 450 degrees for 3 minutes a side and 3 min on the top rack with reduced heat and it was perfect.
