The ambiance is nice and cozy, and the ladies are very hospitable and prepare the food very fresh and with love. They have daily specials where if you order an entree, you get a free cookie with your order. The cookies are homemade and taste very good. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and picked a double chocolate chip cookie. The chicken salad sandwich was fresh and delicious. The double chocolate chip cookie was excellent. All in all, Kris and Sam's is a great lunch place for state of AR workers to grab a quick bite before getting back to work, and hang out during their lunch hour. That said, I feel inspired to take a minute out of my life and find out that this restaurant seems like a hidden gem. We've never heard of it before, and Tosca pointed it out out of the corner of our eyes as we were passing by.
