I've been to Marietta Brewing Company twice now and the atmosphere and service are both exceptional. It's a short walk from the Lafayette Hotel, the regions main place to stay, so it's convenient if you're looking to venture out. I can't comment on their beer, but I suppose if you were in the mood to relax at the bar with a drink and an appetizer MBC would be a good choice. I would consider the food here to be on par with the other restaurants within walking distance of the Lafayette, which isn't saying much. Overall, both experiences here were underwhelming which is disappointing because it is a convenient, well designed place.

Awesome food and drink in downtown Marietta. They have a wide menu and great in-house beers. We were there on a busy show night but got quick service and not rushed out. (Until the yynot show that eve, which was all Rush lol)

My really tasty pizza - so dense with toppings I could have easily shared it and still had plenty to eat.

Cute place, good beer menu, nice people. Plus, it was a quick three-ish-minute walk from the Lafayette Hotel, where we were staying. Too far from where I live to go back on a whim, but if you're in the area and hungry (or thirsty) for a nice experience, I'd recommend you try out the Marietta Brewing Company.

Comfortable brew restaurant in downtown Marrietta. The spicy buffalo wrap was decent. They split the portion in half as we weren't very hungry and didn't want 2 full orders. Tried one of their flagship beers, Cooper Copper Ale which was just okay. The hamburgers served next to is looked good, and the young couple are their entire lunch. Service, speed of kitchen, presentation of food was a 5! Make sure to check out the murals on the walls.

I visited twice for dinner The first evening I was impressed with presentation of their portobello Gouda burger. The side potato had an interesting zigzag cut. On the second evening the baked potato was cut normally. What does that mean. Lazy cook on the second evening or an enthusiastic chef on the first evening. That's why I only gave 4 stars since they don't have quality control. This means you may get good food today and so-so tomorrow They have a red pepper pesto on it. It was ok I also had their red ale. Very good. Low bitter value I had their rib eye on the second evening. I think it was too salty for me. Also I asked for medium. But since the outside is seared it is practically almost well done. Like I said the cook on the second evening was just not as good

Came by this place during a road trip and liked what we saw. The decor is fun and inviting. The bartender was attentive. The pours were good and this is a brewery I would frequent if I lived in the area.

Took away full menu, bar food which is not good at all. Noisy, inattentive and slow wait staff.

Great wings and good craft brew. Stop in and try the milk stout. The bartender is awesome. Great craft brewery with a historical feel.

It seems to not know what it wants to be. Is it a pub? Is it a sports bar? Overall clean and comfortable. We were there for lunch and it was fairly busy and VERY loud. Definitely people talking at "bar" levels. The menu is a smallish sandwich focused spread. We had a Rueben and a NET Burger. Both were large and as stated average. The strange thing is sandwiches do not come with anything on the side. Just a sandwich on a plate. No chips, no fries, no pickle spear. Just a sandwich. We did order onion rings as a appetizer they were pretty good, butI just found it odd the way our sandwiches were presented , and odder that our server never mentioned this. When talking about service, this is the one place that is not average. It is below average It was semi busy, but our server was often missing in action. Aside from the not mentioning the no accompaniment to sandwiches, she disappeared for 20 minutes as we were awaiting our check to leave. We actually had to ask a different server for our check. Over all service was poor, food and facilities were just OK-ish. Probably would not return. Based on observations locals love this place, but our visit was lackluster

It was very good and even though I ordered the small size it was still filling. They have a variety of toppings too, which you can customize. We also ordered potato wedges which was a huge basket. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. It wasn't very busy, especially for a Friday night, but service still felt like an afterthought. Our bartender/server seemed much more focused on pouring herself beers and chatting than paying attention to customers. There were two people behind the bar who were also serving tables, but most of the time it felt like they were more interested in hanging out with their regulars than checking on guests. They were out of traditional wings, which was disappointing. My husband said the boneless wings weren't very good. The homemade salsa and beer cheese were actually the highlights and were both really good. The rest of the food missed the mark. My chicken Caesar wrap came with soggy chicken and tasted like it had been drenched in Italian dressing instead of Caesar. The fries were limp and soggy. We spent what felt like forever trying to get someone's attention just to ask for ranch so we could add some flavor. The beer itself was decent, and I'd probably come back for that. But based on this visit, I wouldn't come back for the food, and I definitely wouldn't go in expecting good service.

Along with Garlic Cheesecurds. Then as I had teased Gabby our severer I would follow coffee with donuts. I had the Donut Stout and my spouse had the Mexican Lager. So of course we had to have the Bavarian Petrels to go with it. Of course by this time the creative ideas start to flow so our next choice was a beer we shared a 1/4 of coffee stout and 3/4 of donut stout. Oh my! Good thing I am retired or this would my coffee choice each morning! We both loved the mix and then I talked to Zach about how I hoped both will be available in January when I am back in the area. He liked my input or talked like he did. I am so glad that we have a local brewery for when family come in but that we can stop by and say Hi. So when it comes to service it was excellent, thank you Gabby. When it it comes to the food it was awesome and the decor. I still want the lights in my home or at least may she shed if my spouse won't rewire the house.

One friend ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and got a fruity vinaigrette instead. Another friend ordered a burger and they forgot the bacon. A third friend asked for his burger well-done, but it came out medium, also with no bacon. When he asked the server if it looked well-done, she said she didn't know what well-done looks like. He asked if she could get a new one so he wouldn't get sick, and she said she'd check with the kitchen. No apology. It took 25 minutes for the new burger to come out, and by then we had been there for over an hour and a half. When she finally brought it out, she asked if he wanted a box to take it home. Still no bacon on the burger. Also, no apology again. Overall, not a great experience. Will not be back.

The wrap-around bar gives it a welcoming, communal feel--perfect for grabbing a seat solo or catching up with friends. It's the kind of place where you don't need a massive tap list--just a few good options done right. What really surprised me were the wings. Locally sourced and noticeably larger than your average bar wings, they were absolutely packed with flavor--easily some of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with the perfect amount of dry rub. Worth the visit for those alone. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with great food, good beer, and a neighborhood-pub kind of feel, this place delivers.
