--Location/Parking-- Located off a busy Marietta street, so it can be easily missed. I think I did two u-turns to find this place. --Ambience-- Small donut shop with only 1 or two tables. More of a take out place. --Service/Staff-- The staff was friendly, but disappointing to see that they kept apologizing for the food that was out. --Food/Products-- Freshly made daily donuts. I enjoyed the donuts, but they were too sweet for my taste, so I tried to order something savory, which they were out of. --Capacity-- Only one or two tables available for sitting. --Overall-- Saw this place in a news article. I will definitely be back to try out their savory items.

Went there around 10:30ish on Saturday and some donuts were all gone! Anyways, I got a dozen for the fam. Everyone loved the maple bar and blueberry donuts. Boston crème with custard filling was also good. I thought the regular old fashioned cake donuts were also pretty good--would be a dream with coffee I think. Same with the regular glazed donuts (which were very soft). I got a chocolate bar with vanilla filling and the filling was unneeded. I also got a ham cheese egg croissant and it was really nice, a quick breakfast to go. The person at the front was SO nice and everything was done efficiently. As others have stated, it's behind the gas station, in that same parking lot.

There is a wide variety of donuts available to choose from. And what you may not know about is that you can order custom donuts ahead of time to spell out whatever you want. This is a great idea for a gift, birthday or other celebration. They also have choices of fillings for the eclairs and other donuts. When I bought the chocolate covered eclair, I was allowed to pick from four different flavors of filling.

It's not too much to look at but it's a pretty amazing place. The donuts here are absolutely delicious. They're very light and fluffy, but have substance and incredible flavor. All the toppings are fresh and delicious. They also have a lot of different kinds here. My kid loves the elmo and the cookie monster ones. You also get a great value because they put donut holes in every box you order. Their filled donuts or items like eclairs are also excellent. Something about the chocolate icing on top is fantastic. It's rich and creamy and smooth and has a perfect taste. Overall they are some of my favorite donuts and while they usually look busy when we go by, I think we definitely will come again even if we had to wait

A true hidden gem! Attached to a gas station in Marietta with a variety of donuts, and breakfast sandwiches! There may be a little bit of a line, but it's worth it! Prices are super reasonable too!

We went at 10:00 on a Saturday morning. They still had plenty of selection left. There were 2 people in line and more people came after us. In terms of COVID precautions, the employee was wearing mask. They don't have a sign out front that says masks are required, but they have masks on the counter for customers who walk in without. They also didn't have a sign that said social distancing is required, but customers were doing a good job of social distancing on their own. Now for the donuts. We got a half dozen. It came out to $6 + tax. Very cheap! Here's what we got, in order of my preference: - Glazed: Soft and airy. So good. - Old-Fashioned: Perfectly crunchy on the outside. Perfectly glazed. Yum. - Apple Fritter: We didn't really taste any apple, but it was still delicious. - Cinnamon Roll: Soft and cinnamon-y. So good. - Chocolate Cake: Normally cake donuts are my favorite, but this donut was just eh. I would probably try something else before I got this donut again. - Blueberry Cake: Again, normally cake donuts are my favorite, but this didn't have the same texture as other cake donuts I've had. It was also disappointing because, as far as we could tell, there weren't real blueberries in it. We would not get this one again. Overall, I was very impressed with this little donut shop. I would definitely go back! I recommend.

Yum yum light and fluffy. Some of the best donuts I've had in a very long while. ( and I'm not a very big fan of donuts. So it's saying a lot) This place is tiny and it's hidden by gas pumps connected to a gas station. The store is small but very efficient. They allow 2 people in at a time social distancing is a big deal. The prices are $ we got a dozen and a half and they were all delicious. The blueberry ones were WOW. My fiancé said that the apple fritter was the best he has had. Must go to this place. To me they remind me of Voodoo donuts but even better.

Need some gas? Maybe a carwash? Or better yet, some donuts? If you answered yes to any of these, then you need to swing into the Shell station on Johnson Ferry Road in East Marietta to get your fill! Personally, I was after the donuts, so I darted to the right and made my way inside of Marietta Donuts! This place is tiny and no frills, they focus on the product and I ain't upset about it...I appreciate that focus on those sweet little rings of deliciousness! When I say tiny, I mean that there is enough room inside for about 3 folks max before you start feeling cramped. There is a cooler on one side, two tables on the other and the counter in the middle. Given the current situation, customers seem to be respectful of each other and tend to wait right outside the door if more than 3 people are inside. Covid precautions are visible, but not mandated it appears, as there is no signage. However, the employees are masked up and wearing gloves, and all the customers that were there during my visit were masked up as well. Parking could be an issue on busy donut getting days, but the Shell station isn't the busiest station, so there should be a spot most times, but there are only about 6 spots between the Shell and Marietta Donuts. If you happen to see a packed lot, then there is a little room to park at the curbs on both sides of the lot. Now, onto the reason we are all here...the donuts! I got half dozen assorted, which ran me around $7 for the ones I chose. I filled the box with (1) Cinnamon Roll, (1) Apple Fritter, (2) Blueberry, (1) Plain and (1) Strawberry Glazed. While I do not consider myself an aficionado of donuts, I will say that these were some of the lightest and airy donuts I have ever had. Light and airy is perfect for the glazed, but it was a little odd for the blueberry cake donuts. I expected a little more substantial of a donut, but it was really light and featured blueberry flavoring, not actual fruit pieces. It was a decent donut, but there wasn't much "blueberry" about it. The cinnamon roll was equally light in texture and was subtle in taste. Again, I was expecting a little more from it in ways of cinnamon flavor, but it was still a tasty treat. Per my partner, the apple fritter was solid with good apple flavor and pieces. The donuts were good, I don't want to take anything away from that...they definitely are lighter on flavor and profile than other spots I have had, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy em - that is just the way Marietta Donuts does it! In addition to the donuts, I also grabbed an Iced Mocha. Nothing fancy, standard iced mocha drink to help wash down those sweet treats! Also, while I didn't partake, they do offer other breakfast favorites in the form of biscuits, croissants and bagels. Lastly, and this is something you don't see on the menu of a local donut spot, is kalaches'! They have a few varieties from sweet to savory. I definitely think I will have one thrown in on my next visit! Overall, Marietta Donuts is a solid local spot to pick up a sweet treat for yourself or the family. Between the mocha and the donuts, I spent around $10 which was worth it for me. Given all this, I will say that I will definitely be back...after all the box tells me that I deserve a donut!

We came in there craving their egg and cheese croissants but FORTUNATELY they had ran out. We got the egg and cheese biscuit instead and was pleasantly surprised! I can honestly say this was THEE BEST biscuit breakfast sandwich that I've ever had. I actually can't stop thinking about it. Their donuts are always amazing too! read more

I kept seeing people review this on Next Door and thought "they can't be that good".....I was wrong. They are wonderful. They fill the filled donuts once you order them......and the fillings are wonderful. This is my new favorite donut shop. read more

Absolutely fantastic! I can't believe I've never been to this donut shop until today. Hands down the best donuts I've had. They melt in your mouth. I'm not sure if they are homemade in store or not but it sure tastes like they are. Unbeatable prices! 3 dozen donut holes for around $5. I will definitely make more visits here. Bonus!!!! They have kolaches! I haven't had one since moving from Texas. It's was delicious. If you haven't tried Marietta Donuts, you need too! read more

We got there on the later side, so the donuts weren't as fresh as we would of liked, but they were still delicious. We got a mixed variety and there wasn't one I didn't like. Staff was very friendly! They also threw in a couple donut holes to munch on the way home. This place is unassuming,but definitely recommend trying for yourself. It's tucked away right next to the shell station. read more

These donuts are so good. For those who have a hard time gaining any weight, these donuts are for you lol. I can literally sit all day and eat these seductive donuts. Mind you they don't look seductive at all, but as soon as a piece enters your mouth, wow you're hooked, and your hand makes these involuntary movements of stuffing your mouth every crumb that falls out. Try them, you'll forget you're on a diet! read more

These are my favorite donuts of all time. I didn't know they were down the street from my house until a friend of mine told me about them. They are very fresh and most are in cake style. Better prices than Duck Donuts and Dunkin and they are REAL. It's a modest interior in a gas station but they are famous in the area locally! read more

Don't let the gas station next door fool you! Marietta Donuts is a hidden gem! Light, fluffy, fresh donuts at great prices lurk behind the counter and you are in for a treat! The apple fritters are the best I've ever had. Definitely get at least 2 because someone will try a bite of yours and will want one for themselves. Also, they have filled donuts, but the fun part about it is that you get to pick what you want to donut to be filled with! I'm a fan of the cream cheese filling and the apple filling. Also, their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. I usually get the croissant with egg, cheese, and sausage. It's made to order and is the perfect cure for a hangover (just the right amount of grease). Service is fantastic and everyone has always been very friendly and helpful. So glad they opened right down the road from my house! read more

I want ALL THE DONUTS! Seriously. I was up in the area for lunch. Figured it was a great opportunity to finally try out Marietta Donuts. Totally passed the store the first time. I had to call and she explained that they were connected to a gas station. Ahhhhh. You really have to look for the sign. Once I knew that, easy to locate. This is like my hometown donut shop when I was a kid. Simple, mom and pop operation. Just your basic kind of donuts - no frills. I got a twist glaze and blueberry. Both were FANTASTIC! I wish I lived closer. Cheap donuts but no cheap flavor. Just one person operating the register so I had to wait a bit while she took a call. Not a big deal but I happened to be in a rush that day. Hope to have an excuse to be in the area again some time soon. read more

Oh, Marietta Donuts, what happened?? I've been a dedicated fan for the past year. You have failed big time and I'm afraid there is no going back. I pre-ordered a large order a day in advance. When I can to pick it up, the line was out the door. You had NOTHING prepared. So many unhappy folks who had preordered, you responded with "it will be ready in an hour." A sad little girl picking up birthday donuts for her class, a mom picking up donuts for her child's teacher's birthday. It kept getting worse and worse with people leaving without donuts. I had to finally leave like most of the almost customers because we had jobs to get to. I would chalk this up to everyone has a bad day every now and again. I asked for my receipt and said I would return for my order. When I called asking for a refund because another person had picked up donuts from Dunkin to replace the Marietta Donut fail, Marietta Donuts denied it! They refused to refund my donuts or allow me to get them another time. No way to keep customers coming back. Sadly, I my coworkers heard about the experience and are very disappointed as well. You lost a faithful customer Marietta Donuts. I'm going to Ray's or Dunkin from now on. read more

I always want to try Donuts looking for the overall feel and taste of Shipley Donuts. I am not a Krispy Kream fan, but if I had to say something good about KK, it would be the softness when they're hot. Marietta Donuts has that softness and it was awesome. I'm happy I got to go and try it. The guy at the front was very respectful! It's no surprise they have such good reviews. read more

This place is my favorite donut shop. It's not fancy...it's next to a gas station. But their glazed donuts are so light and fluffy, the blueberry cake is heavy on the blueberries (as it should be). The buttermilks have that little crunch on the outside. The family that owns is very nice. Every time I've been in they are wearing masks. read more

BEST DONUT SHOP EVER... The fritters are unlike any I've ever had. Even if you dislike apples you will like this fritter. THEY FILL YOUR DONUTS TO ORDER! Meaning, if you want a long John with cream cheese filling, they fill it once you've ordered. And they fill it FULL of whatever filling you desire. This keeps the donuts super fresh. I've never experienced anything like it. Top notch. The family that owns it are also wonderful. I made a large order for the ladies at my kids daycare and they threw in a complementary bag of donut holes for me to munch on. Very friendly. One last thing. If you're looking for something savory to go with all that sugar, you must try the spicy kolaches(pigs in a blanket'ish). Very good. Ended up being a very nice surprise. read more

When it first opened I was impressed. Everything was very fresh. Really liked the kolochis. Cinamon rolls and filled donuts excellent. Cake donuts although only tried once were very heavy and way to sweet. All cake donuts and fritters covered in thick coating of glaze. Cake donuts really heavy and dense. Good donuts seemed to be a decent value however now, today Cinamon roll, Maple bacon, and Boston creme were very noticibly smaller. Still good but very small and there filled donuts used to be heavy with filling but now only a very small amount. Been there many times unfortunately very disappointed now. Like most businesses had hoped they would keep quality and value but have not. read more

We always make a point to stop here when in the area. Even the plain donut is so tasty and light. When we got donuts today they were warm! The strawberry frosted actually tastes like strawberry and has flavor, not like the stale cardboard coming out of the chain places everyone is used to. Everything is delicious and the girl at the counter is a total sweetheart. Just go, this place is a hidden gem!!! read more

A great classic donut shop! They fresh fill their filled donuts when you order them so they are always perfect and they are always filled edge to edge. The kolachi are fantastic here and something I missed from living in Texas. Wonderful family run shop that I hope is here for years to come. read more

I have been waiting for 12 years for a real donut shop to open that has kolache's. Finally! It has been great for my cravings but bad for my waist line! Love it! Yes parking and a small dining area are challenges, but this is a new shop that will undoubtedly grow as word gets around. I hope they will be able to expand or find a larger place to accommodate when they can. read more

Love, love, love this place. It's a hidden gem that shouldn't stay hidden. They are all about customer service and delicious fresh donuts. You want a filled donut? They fill it while you wait. Nice selection of donuts and at least five different fillings. If you know you need a big order (such as a soccer team or swim team), you can place the order the day ahead and they'll have it ready with a smile. Great addition to east Cobb. read more

We ordered both a savory and a sweet dish, the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and the Mini Soufflé Pancakes. One thing to note. Their website mentions that the combo set is available all day but this particular location doesn't offer it. We really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. You can choose either a croffle or sweet toast and we went with the sweet toast which was delicious. I also loved the dressing they used on the salad. (I was disappointed to later find out that they actually sell the dressing!) The soufflé pancakes, however, were a bit of a mixed experience for us. We chose the mini version so we could try four different flavors: blueberry cheese, tiramisu, matcha tiramisu, and strawberry cream. In the end, we were actually glad we ordered the minis instead of a full-size pancake with just one flavor. Out of the four, the blueberry cheese was our favorite. The tiramisu flavors didn't really taste much like tiramisu to us and the strawberry cream topping was fairly simple as well. The pancakes themselves were also a little drier than we expected. I also ordered a matcha latte but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. It tasted a bit watery and didn't have a good matcha flavor. Overall, it ended up being a hit-or-miss experience for us but we still thought it was a fun and unique concept to try.

As a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami and married to a Cuban man, I am happy to report that Cuban Diner is the real deal. This is authentic Cuban food that is as good as the Cuban food easily found all over Miami. We started with croquetas and mariquitas. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!

Wow! Sublime donuts doesn't even come close to Marietta donuts! These are the best donuts I have ever had in my life! They are so fresh... Made from scratch right before you put them in your mouth! There have variety and they're willing to make anything you want special for an event if you would like. There also so inexpensive! This is our go to donut shop...
