In addition to their signature pancakes they also have typical breakfast food items like egg dishes served with tater tots and salad, eggs Benedict, eggs with cheese, etc. we got the tiramisu soufflé. It's definitely more like a dessert than a breakfast item. But it was delicious. One thing to note is that the soufflés take 25 minutes to order since they're made from scratch, just an FYI in case you're in a rush. they also have specialty coffees, Boba tea and Matcha drinks too. During our short weekend trip to Atlanta, we decided to explore some new places instead of sticking to our usual spots. We started the day a little late so we were looking for a brunch place. I came across Fluffy Fluffy on Yelp and since they serve Japanese-inspired pancakes, we decided to give it a try. It was Mother's Day so the restaurant was completely full when we arrived. We took a while deciding what to order and luckily a table opened up at just the right time. We ordered both a savory and a sweet dish, the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and the Mini Soufflé Pancakes. One thing to note. Their website mentions that the combo set is available all day but this particular location doesn't offer it. We really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. You can choose either a croffle or sweet toast and we went with the sweet toast which was delicious. I also loved the dressing they used on the salad. (I was disappointed to later find out that they actually sell the dressing!) The soufflé pancakes, however, were a bit of a mixed experience for us. We chose the mini version so we could try four different flavors: blueberry cheese, tiramisu, matcha tiramisu, and strawberry cream. In the end, we were actually glad we ordered the minis instead of a full-size pancake with just one flavor. Out of the four, the blueberry cheese was our favorite. The tiramisu flavors didn't really taste much like tiramisu to us and the strawberry cream topping was fairly simple as well. The pancakes themselves were also a little drier than we expected. I also ordered a matcha latte but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. It tasted a bit watery and didn't have a good matcha flavor. My pancakes were overcooked, which took away from that fluffy texture I was expecting. The flavor just wasn't there. Jalapeño Chicken & Pancakes -- 8/10 Now this was a win. Great balance of sweet and savory, and the chicken had good flavor. Definitely one of the better items on the menu. Strawberry Matcha -- 10/10 Absolutely rich and full of flavor. Plenty of parking, and even a cute locally-owned home decor store a few doors down. There are only a few bigger tables and more 2-toppers towards the back. I'm shocked the line isn't out the door here. You order at the counter, where the ladies there are helpful if aren't sure how or what to order. I recommend checking the menu online before coming in because it can be overwhelming. They warn you that it takes like 20 minutes to get the fluffy pancakes (worth the wait to me). Come when you have time to savor everything! The food comes to your table in good time. Prices are reasonable for the novelty and QUALITY of the food! In addition to the pancakes with typical sweets, they have a selection of savory sandwiches--lox, benedict, etc.--and the amazing "croffle" (waffled croissants)! This is a Japanese inspired pancake house. They do offer salads with waffles, breakfast sandwich and an assortment of drinks but I must confess I came for the pancakes. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy and not weighted down like so many other places. The chicken, maple syrup and sliced/sauted jalapeño slices was great if you crave mostly savory with a little sweet. A good portion of fried/breaded chicken that was seasoned well. The green matcha was more decadent with a layer of whipped cream in between the cakes and shavings of white chocolate to garnish with. The mango and kiwi pancake is nice if you want a lighter fruity version and the two pair quite well. Underneath is a mango purée perfect to sop up with your pancake fork in hand! The Nutella and banana came with the chocolate separate that you could drizzle on top. So much fun! I don't think you can go wrong with the food choices here. The pancakes are an amazing texture and so dang good. I appreciate that when you order it tells you the timing on the pancakes. Our minus a star moment came when the chicken and waffles came so much later than the rest of our food... like everyone else was done eating late. I don't remember seeing any outdoor seating which would have been perfect during the summer and fall days. --Service/Staff-- Shout out to the women, which was running the front register for helping me out. I forgot her name, but she helped me with my order and gave me some great pancake recommendations. --Products-- I ordered the Classic Tiramisu and the Signature Tiramisu. I recommend the Signature based on what toppings. I'll go back and try the Nutella Banana and Raspberry Caramelized in the future. --Overall-- Expanding chain of fluffy pancakes. If you are in the area and near one. I recommend stopping by to try it out. It's a unique dessert option. Tin the owner Is serious about trying to please his customers. Even ordering pure maple syrup immediately after we suggested it making sure that it was there for the next time we came. I was very hungry, so I had two entrées, one sweet and one savory the savory one was the chicken and waffles entrée. The waffles were really croissants that they smashed into a waffle iron so it had the waffle look they were delicious! Fluffy fluffy is an adorable, small cafe! My friend was visiting Atlanta for the first time, and we came by here to try the fluffy pancakes. We shared the matcha flavor pancake, and the serving size was very big--we couldn't finish it, I'd say it serves at least 3-4 people! The interior is really cute, and the service is mostly self service after ordering with the cashier up front. I had Jana see fluffy pancakes in Japan recently and was so excited to find some right up the street from me! This place was as good as Japan. From the moment I entered the place I felt welcomed by greetings from the staff. They had many options. I ordered the main fluffy fluffy with banana slices, strawberries and blueberries. My husband got the fluffy French toast either same. Both were amazing and spot on like in Japan. They brought your food out to you when ready and said to just ask if we needed anything. After we were done the owner I think came and asked how everything was and we said it was as good as we had had. Hopefully everyone will get same experience and the place will thrive.
