We're staying at the Rodeway Inn next door for a night after our cruise before we fly out in the morning. We came to this restaurant for dinner. Party of 2, we sat outside (it was a beautiful night). The waitress was prompt with delivering menus, bringing our waters and taking our order. That took place at 6:15pm. At 7pm, I asked them to just make the order to go. 20 minutes later, at 7:20pm, they finally brought out our food. We took it back to the room to eat; -we ordered sweet potato fries and got regular fries -I asked for lettuce and onion on my burger, there was none -the onion rings were cold Disappointed in the entire experience. They advertised a happy hour but it was only valid if you were actually sitting at the bar and that seating was very limited. But the Happy hour sign drove us to go during those hours but we did not know it did not include bar tables. A bit disappointing. Food was good, just great nor memorable. I had the shrimp quesadillas and there were maybe 2 shrimp in each slice a tiny concerned that the shrimp were so translucence (hope they were fully cooked) and a ridiculous amount of pico asked for more and was charged of course. We ate here as a lay over before a flight home. The restaurant was out of almost all of its food items at 1pm in the afternoon on a Monday with no one in the restaurant but us. We come here for the Penn State games. They have a decent amount of TVs and the servers are awesome. This is also a South African sports bar so a lot of times we (PSU) changes the sports bar to another bar down the road which is a bit disappointing but totally understandable. The food is marginal at best at Marina 84. Bar food but less impressive. I wished they used more fresh ingredients. For example we had the Fiesta Nachos once and the tomatoes on top tasted like they were from a can. Pricing is a bit high too especially for the quality. Most burgers are around $20. We walked in and all the tables were dirty, trash on the ground outside. We were asked to wait while the tables were cleaned. We tried to go to the bar to grab a drink and the bartender said we had to wait until we got a table. Waitresses had no hustle, no greeting or customer service, we ordered our food, my order was wrong, after correcting it they never came back to ask if we needed anything, didn't ask how our food was or if we needed another drink. We wanted to watch it but the manager who walked around the whole time with an attitude change the channel and we never got it back until we got ready to leave, they charge 3.25 for each glass of tea get there nothing extra. And if you ever heard fajitas with no guacamole, they had no guacamole. The ambience was not the TV made but when the manager kept changing the channel, it was time to go. Don't think I had visited Marina 84 in over 4 years when we used to go for college alumni game-watching parties. This hot spot is in the Rodeway Inn motel complex and a stone's throw from highway I-95. It has not changed since how it was prior to covid. That is, there's plenty of seating, lively music, cold beer, and bar bites. On this particular night the live band was performing! A female vocalist performed two Tina Turner songs. Many televisions inside & outside for everyone's viewing pleasure. Plenty of parking too! Prices are totally reasonable. This is a great dive type bar. Always fun to visit! read more

Marina 84 we never been too, so we came here and wasn't disappointed. The NFL football game was on. Even though we like the Miami Dolphins, we sat and watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cleveland Browns game. They have a pool table, nice bar, many televisions, lots of adult beverages, a great menu and nice employees. There are lots of local and out of towners at the bar. Everyone is having a good time drinking, socializing, watching the game, and eating. They have a live band tonight which sound pretty good. Wednesday is Karaoke night. I heard it's crowded on that night as well. My husband drank a few beers and ate lemon pepper wings and hamburger sliders. I had a soda and wasn't in the mood to eat. I really like the fact that Marina 8 have their own soft drinks. That's really cool. The menu have a lot of appetizers, finger foods, entrees, and salads. We will definitely return.
