Short Sum: Yea - agree with all the reviews about the disorganization here. Pros: - My NP Nicole was really sweet. Cons: - Sometimes the receptionist is nice and sometimes she's not? I had the most challenging time trying to get a prescription refill. The first time I called she made the situation more confusing when I simply just need a specific refill. After she confirmed a refill would be made, it never got to the pharmacy. Had to call again after a week and a half for them to ping my pharmacy. - I changed my insurance and the receptionist told me they didn't cover my insurance (which was even PPO). Because of this, they couldn't do a prescription refill and I had to scramble for a new doctor (which I'm glad I finally got). Weeks later I get a call from the NP about a check up which took me surprise because I thought they didn't cover my insurance? I told the NP this and she went back and checked and found out I was covered! This is so confusing lol. I'm glad I switched because I honestly don't trust my health records here. Anyways, I typically don't like giving bad reviews but doing this so they can see some improvements can be made. Hoping for the best. read more

I can't with this place. Between the front desk staff being rude when asking them to call quest because there's an issue with your results getting sent back. (Sorry to be a burden when trying to get a referral) and the doctor wanting me to go get an X-ray but won't tell you where to go.You have to figure out where to go yourself they don't do that apparently. I wanted to share I never go to the doctor unless something is wrong. In October my regular primary physician no longer takes my insurance so I called my insurance and they gave me Dr. Marina Gold. I've called three times and I've never had an experience like I received, the lady who answered was so rude. I told her that my insurance said that Dr. Marina Gold was going to be my doctor. She insisted that my insurance fax over my proof of insurance I said to her I just didn't pull your name out of a hat, my insurance assigned me to you, her response was you need to call them back and tell them that they need to fax as proof that you have insurance. Well, since then I'm tired of arguing with her and I stated and I quote when I see a doctor and there is something wrong with me. I will hold your office responsible for my condition, I'm hoping it's nothing but to tell me well you wouldn't get in till three weeks and then you're gonna need an MRI and you're going to need a mammogram which I have had at my other primary doctor. I think the mistake I made was telling her that I was changing insurance as the first of the year, but why go to a doctor if there's nothing wrong with you I've always been like that now I have an issue and I can't see a doctor because it's almost December and I've never been to them before I would not recommend this office to your worst enemy read more

I bought a Groupon for B-12 shots on the groupon it stated that I would be assessed by a doctor which never happened. I then told them I didn't wish to use my groupon but the medical assistant said she had already processed the groupon. I asked if I can take the shots home they said no that I had to visit the office each time. I explained I would not be able to use the shots because I don't live close to any office. The medical assistant assured me it will be ok because the groupon doesn't expire. I was forced to use the groupon & a few weeks ago I called in to see if someone was available to give me a shot (before driving in & finding out no one was available). The Santa Clarita office manager told me it's been way too long since I bought my groupon & that it was expired. I explained what I was originally told by her staff & she said no one would ever say that. I later attempted to visit the Glendale office where I spoke to Dr. Gold & she reiterated what the Office manager said. I contacted Groupon for answers & they are going to send me an email stating that groupons never expire. If you can avoid visiting this office, please do! I only received B-12 shots but often overheard patients being unhappy with the management of their medical care. Their office staff in Glendale is nice. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I think it's important to make wise choices when it comes to medical matters. read more

0 Stars DO NOT GO HERE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE I was trying to get a new PCP established after switching from Facey because my insurance changed. Took me over a month to get in to see who I THOUGHT would be Doctor Gold. Nope. I got a surprise visit with one Anna Mezentseva, possibly the most aggressively unpleasant person I have ever encountered. I have several chronic health issues which I take various medications for. Needless to say if I don't have my medicine, very bad things will happen to me. This woman charged in the room and wouldn't even let me speak before she starts barking at me. First thing, she asked me in an extremely condescending tone if I actually knew the meaning of the word "refill" because I hadn't had a prescription filled with her before. This went on for a minute or so. Next, without asking me anything at all, she spat at me that wouldn't even think about giving me any of my much needed medicine until I underwent a ridiculously long series of tests, including blood work which I'd recently done. She hardly let me get a word in edgewise, even when I tried to explain that the medicine was very important and I've been taking it for years with success. She was extremely rude in her tone, clearly showed disdain, annoyance, and anger. She immediately demanded I get my blood taken and do a pap smear before she even would hear about my medical history. If I wasn't going to do these things, she essentially told me I could go fuck myself. I might've been willing to go through the whole rigmarole if she'd actually spoken to me with even a hint of respect. She also accused me of lying when I told her I didn't have to go through this ridiculous process when I first started at Facey. I absolutely didn't....and I seriously wish I could go back there, where they actually treat their patients like human beings. So, so, so awful and disrespectful. Stay far, FAR away. STAY AWAY! How this woman practices medicine is beyond me. We picked her name out of the Anthem HMO book (I wish there was a better way!) Her receptionist is creepy and Dr. Gold prescribes "Russian ointments" in UNMARKED urine bottles that she swears will cure Psoriasis and blemishes. She orders TONS of unnecessary tests. My husband had high blood pressure, she made him get an ultrasound. I was told to get an ultrasound as well as an eye exam. WTH? My eyes are fine! Thankfully our insurance covered all the ridiculous amounts of bloodwork on both of us, who are healthy. Please run far, far away from this office. I came in with a hoarse cough, runny nose and a deep fearing of visiting the doctor... maybe it was instilled by my parents who would threaten to bring me to the doctor if I don't "behave". Nevertheless I had to come in - I've had these symptoms for over two weeks and it was not getting better. Turns out I've had a sinus infection. Yelp should have an option for zero stars. The only reason I have 1 star is because you need to in order to leave a review. I was a patient of Dr.Bai at Dr. Gold's Office. He was thorough and I never had an issue with him, however when I went back after a year or so he was no longer there. They offered me an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner Anna Mezentseva.... From the moment she walked in to the exam room she was rude, no bedside manners. I told her that I had my diabetes under control which is why Dr. Bai had lowered my metformin .. her response to that was " are you sure you have it under control because you have to look like a model to get rid of Type2 Diabetes. I told her to check my chart and look at what my weight was when I was diagnosed vs my current weight Bc she would have seen that I've lost over 50lbs. I weigh 140 and I guess a model shouldn't weigh that much! I was speechless. At this point I asked for something that I have been asking for over a year.. test results for a pap. Until this day I have yet to get those results. For some reason they cannot produce them. I didn't want to see her again however I needed to see a doc ASAP due to a new issue I had and she had the soonest appointment available so I said fine I'll see her one more time meanwhile looking for a new medical group. Again she walked in no eye contact asks "why are you here " I told her my issue and that I wanted another Pap smear as they had lost my results , she ignored me when I requested the pap, then she instructs me to do a vaginal swab on myself .. there in the exam room. I thought I misunderstood her but no she repeated herself and I told her isn't this your job? I get on the exam table and you do the swab? She says "you want help? Fine take off your pants I'll help you. " she stands there waiting for me to get undressed in front of her and no gown is given or offered to me. No privacy was given to me so that she could " help me" do HER JOB! I walked out of the exam room and told her I would be switching Doctors in which she replied "ok thank you" I WOULD NOT recommend Dr.Gold's office to my worst enemy. They shouldn't be practicing medicine they are incompetent and unprofessional. She is a terrible, mean, unprofessional person.... the receptionists are nice to you IF YOU CATCH THEM ON A GOOD DAY. One last thing.. don't bother leaving messages for your Doctor Bc they seldom return phone calls. I love the doctor and had a great experience! After reading the reviews it seems like some people had problems with the office being their primary. I went in off a Groupon for the Pellevé treatment and had a great experience! She was so kind, knowledgeable and caring. She was also encouraging me not to do other services, instead of most offices that will encourage you to do everything and anything because all they care about it making money off you. She was the exact opposite which I loved! I decided to purchase additional service anyways and can't wait for my next appointment and to see the final results! She also noticed another issue to get checked out by my primary which ended up being a huge help to me. If I wasn't moving this would be my new go to office! read more

I echo everyone's concerns here. DON'T GO HERE. BOTH offices are unsanitary. Why are there stacks of old paperwork sitting in the room I'm being seen in and why is there so much dust on them? And WHY does the blood pressure cuff look dingy and why does is the velcro festered with dirt and lint? BOTH offices have unwelcoming staff. A "hello!" would be nice especially if you're not on the phone or talking to any one else in the room. The Dr. did not listen to my concern at all and instead of trying to help me by listening to my symptoms, wrote me a prescription for something and made me schedule another appointment to see if it helped. One star because there is no option for negative stars. I agree with the others, STAY AWAY!!!! MALPRACTICE!!!! I signed up with Dr. Gold as a local doctor through Anthem when I moved to the area. My first visit was just a regular yearly women's checkup. She tried to sell me all kinds of extraneous treatments which were not covered by insurance. She told me not to eat strawberries in order to clear up my complexion. Newsflash--that can't be the reason, as I never eat strawberries. What a quack. But wait, it gets better: The pharmacy couldn't fill my prescription because they could not read her handwriting. The pharmacist said he always has that problem with her, and has repeatedly talked to her about it. Despite multiple calls to her office by both the pharmacy AND me over the next two weeks, we could never get her to verify the prescription. If I wasn't thinking of switching doctors already, this certainly forced my hand. I signed up with another provider. The other provider said they would renew my prescription over the phone if I could just get my test results, so they didn't have to redo the test. And it gets better still: I went down to pick up my test results from Dr. Gold, because not only did they never call the pharmacy back, they never called ME back, either. And when I insisted they copy them and hand them to me right there, I read them on the way out the door. My test results indicated a problem and NO ONE CALLED ME to follow up. The new doctor immediately got me in for follow up testing, and biopsy, which Dr. Gold completely, NEGLIGENTLY, missed. It could have resulted in a serious problem and I never would have known...if I had not been proactive in getting out of that office. Where do I start...This was my Dr...I went to them for about 6 months for a stomach issue that was terribly painful..The doctor was friendly and cool to talk to but littterally did zero testing and the office set up appointments for times the Dr was not even there...So I had to take off work to find out they made a mistake on there end and the Dr was off that day...On one of his regular days off...The Glendale office is a joke...I won't even get into that..I switched Drs after seeing this was going no where..Two years later I found out I have a bacteria infection in my intestines..One that could have been found two years ago if I was tested for it...and it's a common bacteria! I went there and the young man(doctor) said you'll get 3 shots of vaccines. One now, one 2 month later and one 6 month later. The day that I went to office for the first shot, they didn't have that ready and they told me that pharmacy didn't send it.They called the pharmacy and asked for vaccine. I was sitting there for 45 minutes waiting just for a shot. 2 month later I went there for second shot and they had no clue why I'm here for! I had to explain why I'm here and then they said they didn't get anything from pharmacy. They said they will follow up and call me to announce when I should go there for second shot. This doctor is horrible. I cannot believe she even passed medical school. I saw her about 4 or 5 times and each time she told me I had a different diagnosis for the same issue. Her writing is like a million loops on a page. Her office staff wanted copies of my previous medical records and asked to keep them until my next appointment so they had time to make copies. This office and the doctors here are a joke. I'm starting to wonder how they even have a medical license. The Glendale office is in a strip mall and the same chair and room you sit in to get your temperature and blood pressure taken is the same chair that someone with shaking nervous hands will try to draw your blood. After my experiences at the Glendale office I refuse to go back fearing for my own safety. I decided to go to the Santa Clarita location, the one girl at the desk, I believe right now is maybe 6 months pregnant, is very nice, very respectful and does a great job. The older woman who sits beside her is very rude condescending disrespectful and talks to you like you don't know anything. I went to this office after severely cutting my hand at work in need of a referral for a hand surgeon. After waiting almost 3 hours I finally went and saw the doctor. As I was getting ready to leave the office after my appointment the doctor wrote me a few prescriptions and was supposed to give me a paper to present to to my employer for the days off of work. However, the doctor Timur pogdin (sp), forgot to write it so I had to drive all the way back to pick it up the next day. 4 days go by, my referral arrives and it is for an eye doctor for unspecified visual loss not for a hand surgeon. After finally making a few more calls and getting the correct referral I see the hand specialist only to be basically laughed at and told I shouldn't even be here and my doctor who sent me here was incompetent and should have at least looked at my hand to get an idea of whether or not the referral was even necessary. Even with all of this I didn't mind my hand was healing I got what I needed and everything was fine. Two weeks later I receive my disability form in the mail and call the office to ask if I can have it filled out, they said yes to please come in and drop it off and it would only cost $50. When I went into the office and begin to look at my paperwork a little more closely I realize that on the certificate of disability he wrote he put 3 weeks instead of 4 so I asked the woman at the desk if we could clarify this and again received some very rude remarks and backlash when doing so and then was told I could not talk to the doctor unless I signed up for a walk-in appointment and paid another $35 on top of the $50 I was already going to have to pay for the disability form. So I put my name on the list and waited. When I finally saw the doctor he came into the room treated me with disrespect sarcasm and did nothing to address any of the health problems I was experiencing at the moment. He then began to get up in the middle of our conversation about the issue of the disability certificate and my disability form being filled out and walked out and told me he would not be filling out the disability form it is not his job. In the end after a ridiculous amount of dialogue back and forth and frustration he finally filled out my disability form but I was still receiving a ton of sarcasm and disrespect from him and his clerical worker at the desk. When he gave me the disability form back all the information about the doctor on the front was not filled in, his medical license number, type of doctor, etc. His clerical worker or office assistant decided she would fill this information out for him which was fine meanwhile Timur was on the phone with the doctor Marina Gold who I've seen in the Glendale office who's also extremely incompetent speaking in their native language which I could not understand. I only assumed itbhad to do with them getting a complaint or maybe they're shotty medical licenses. Doctor Gold asked me, prior to my testicle exam, if I felt sexually harasses by her needed to do the exam.. wtf... sketchy.. I got what I needed but at a ridiculous amount of emotional distress. This doctor's office and most of the employees there, but not all because there are a few assistants that are great, are a joke. If you like under-qualified incompetent doctors that do nothing for you but take your copay and send you on your way this is the place to go. I will say the facilities in Santa Clarita are much nicer and a lot more sanitary than in the Glendale offices but both offices have doctors that are completely incompetent and for your safety I would avoid all of these doctors. On top of all of this my primary care physician should be Jillin Bai, who I conveniently have never met or seen and who always seems to be in Glendale when I'm at the Santa Clarita office or vice versa.
