Walked into this store on a whim! I was staying at the Kimpton Hotel and this market is right next door. They have all you could need, especially as a hotel guest. Frozen foods, snacks, alcohol, dog essentials & toys, toiletries, and gifts, for mostly reasonable prices. Think: floss for $1 or bamboo hairbrush for $6. Happy, happy dance! I am beyond thrilled to finally have a neighborhood market on Riverplace Esplanade. When I'm on my daily walks, I pass this area every day. Now, rather than having to get in my car and drive to the Un-Safeway for cream for my coffee or other needed staples, I can pick them up here on my walk home. It gets even better! Not only do they have cream for my coffee, bread, eggs and other basic staples, they have lots of upscale items, too. Fresh and dried artisanal pasta. Premade meals in the freezer. A wonderful selection of olive oils. Wine, many local. Items for a charcuterie board like fine cheese, dried meats, fruit, crackers and nuts. Other staples include coffee, tea, cookies and snacks. Even some beautiful gift items like candles, soaps, kitchen decor and greeting cards. Inside is light filled with lots of space to walk around and see what is on the shelves and various display tables.. The owners did an excellent job curating fine food items, gift items, beverages and kitchen staples and displaying everything artistically. Please support this market if you live in any of the condo and townhomes on the Willamette River by the Marina. Residents of The Douglas and The Strand, I'm talking to you! If you are coming to this area for a walk, ice cream, coffee or for dinner at Il Terrazzo or McCormacks, stop in and check out Marina Market and pick up some items. It took years and years to attract a market to this section along the river and the only way to keep this market here is to support them! Adorable little place in one of the nicest parts of the city, this one is a great little market right on the water. Brimming over with all manner of food, drink, and various other products, you are definitely going to find something to bring home with you.
