I went to Delta Watercraft for jet ski service. NOT rental…read more I have 2 sea doo gti's that both needed motor rebuilds. I talked to jeff on the phone about a week before I decided to go with him to see how much he would charge for the rebuild(s). He seemed very knowledgeable and gave me an estimate a lot cheaper than everyone else. He also said that he would warranty the work for a year just like SBT would (the other option I was considering). Me being me and researching everything i called a few other places to see what they wanted for the job, etc. When it came down to it, Jeff was the best option. I drove an hour to get to him and when I got there he estimated 2 weeks to have the job done. I also re-asked roughly how much the job would cost. His price was a few hundred dollars more than what he said on the phone the week before. I didn't question it and told him I would see him in 2 weeks when it was done. He called me once he started working on them and gave me a more exact estimate based off of what he saw once he tore into them. Again, a few hundred dollars higher than he quoted me when I dropped them off. Keep in mind this is the 2nd time the price has jumped. Not ok with me. About a week and a half goes by and I got a call from jeff letting me know that the ski is done. I scheduled a time to pick it up. When I got there I questioned why the price was a lot higher than originally quoted. I guess there were a few parts that he needed to replace including the battery. I never got a call to "approve" these items. When i figured out how much the additional items were and subtracted it from the total the price ended up very close to what he quoted me when I dropped them off. I asked him about the warranty and asked if I could get one written up and signed. He found every reason in the book to not write one and give one to me. He said I needed to bring the ski back once i broke it in so he can re-check it and then he will give me a warranty paper. I brought it back in like he asked and still never got a warranty paper. I guess i will have to trust his word and if something happens hope he will honor his word. Overall Jeff was cheaper than the rest, including the few price jumps. He is a nice guy but can easily come across as rude because he doesn't give his customers his full attention when they are there. He is juggling round his employees and jobs while trying to maintain a conversation with you. He is to the point and I feel doesn't lie or upsell to make more $$. Aside from the pricing issues and warranty issues he does a great job. The ski runs great and he is a knowledgeable guy. I would highly recommend him to others. Just make sure the price is firm before you leave and make sure warranty terms are discussed before hand.

Jeff is a fast talking tweaker. He will give you 3 different prices, one when you call, a higher…read moreprice when you drop off your boat and an even higher price when you pick it up. He doesn't provide written quotes, he doesn't call for approval on price increases. And he gets mad when the customer's like, "WTF?!" Jeff and his staff look and behave like dr*g addicts so trust your instincts when dealing with these people.

At the end of last season (2023), and our last day of boating, we met this couple doing a gel coat…read morerepair at Bethel Harbor; Dennis Russo is the gentleman's name. The couple was very nice and Dennis was very helpful as we asked questions about their business. We told them about a stain in our gel coat in a small section at the waterline, and asked if they would take a look at it and let us know what they think. Since we were putting away the boat for the winter, we would not be returning to Bethel Harbor until this season, 2024. A few days after we met them, I received a call from them letting me know that they had finished the work and were able to successfully remove the stain with a cleaning solution, no gel coat application needed! Today, my husband sent me a picture of the area they worked on and you can't tell it was ever stained! I wish we had taken a "before" picture so we could share the "before and after" photos. We are very happy with the outcome and so excited to have met Dennis and his helper!!! Thank you so much! We are going to share your information with our ski club, Bay Area Water Ski Club (BAWSC)! Keep an ear open for calls from some of our members!!!

I wish I could give them negative stars!!…read more They failed to ever diagnose the boat, and started doing work on what we said we thought it might be without knowing for sure. He then tried to put in a rebuilt part vs a new one without asking us what we wanted to do he did work without getting our approval. Then he had the nerve to get angered with us when we told him it was illegal to do work on any automotive vessel without customer approval. He then refused to do any more work, stopped replying to calls and texts, and left our boat taken apart. They never provided us with any invoice or any receipts to show us what they actually did, I think because they never did anything at all and were just trying to take our money. We had to bring it elsewhere to get fixed and it costs us over twice as much as it should have because of the incompetence and unethical business practices done by the Chandlery. We found pieces of the boat that should have been reattached sitting in the cup holders. The boat was left in shambles complete a mess dirty (shoe prints all over the seats) and not put back together. I think they saw 2 younger people and thought they could scam us. There's a reason they aren't accredited by the better business bureau. I'm now looking into small claims court.
