Holy cow what a hidden gem. Went there on a very cold and windy day. We ordered a tea and a hot mocha. Drinks were good, solid. What stood out was the amazing and I mean amazing croissants. I ordered a pistachio croissant and it was divine. Pistachio cream inside. Crust was soft and flaky. The presentation was, dare I say perfect. She ordered the ham and gruyere. Stunning. The service was good. Food came quickly and it was fresh and hot. If you are in the area, you must go and enjoy the croissants!! Sorry for lack of photos, ate the food too quickly. read more

Super cute spot! The chicken sandwich was tasty and a good amount of food. The almond croissant was flaky, and the flavor of the filling made it sweet but not overwhelming. They had several other croissant flavors that looked great, as well. The food came pretty quickly, too. read more

Came for the tiramisu latte i keep seeing on latte and it was worth the drive! It was one of the best ones I've had thus far. A lot of thought and effort was put into the design of this latte. Honestly it was a work of art that i hated to touch. The cafe was cute too. Def a chic cape cod vibe and the food people were eating looked as good as the drinks! I've just never been somewhere run so poorly. I totally understand being busy and a long line and would be MORE than happy to wait and be patient. However, it was so insanely slow and then when you finally get to order everything is wrong and disgusting. How do you mess up a half iced tea/half lemonade? I mean after waiting an hour you finally get to sip your drink and it tastes like straight acid no iced tea or lemonade in sight. The person at the register didn't know how to use the computer system either- again more than happy to be patient for something stellar but the staff was rude and had no clue what was going on. Many other great coffee places in the area- I'd skip here and try elsewhere read more

Adorable cafe with beautiful pastries and coffees. My iced latte was exactly what I was hoping for, and the flavor was tasty without being too sweet. My waffle was delicious as well, however I would have liked for it to have a bit less nutella (and this is coming from someone who looooves nutella!) I would definitely return here, though, for a breakfast, brunch, or coffee. I went during the off season, though, and can imagine it would get busy during the summer! read more

The breakfast was ok I got the avo toast on gluten free bread with egg on the side and my husband got a pistachio croissant. We think it's extremely overpriced. 8$ for a croissant and $15 for Avo toast. We get it this is America these days but it just didn't feel with the spend. My chai was good and he enjoyed his tiramisu coffee. It was very busy and loud. Some staff was very kind and helpful but the kitchen was a little lacking in knowledge, when I asked about my food allergy. I probably wouldn't return just because I wasn't blown away. Great place if you're looking for some good and different speciality flavored lattes and breakfast food. I got the tiramisu and the pistachio lattes on different days during our recent trip to the cape. We also go the pistachio, bow tie and chocolate croissants all good. Some of our party got the eggs Benedict and some breakfast sandwiches. My husband loved the strawberry lemonade and got it multiple times. This place can be pretty busy but they seem to have a good system to keep it moving and get food and drinks out pretty quickly. read more

We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it just missed the mark. After seeing it had 4+ stars and was heavily marketed on tik tok we thought it'd be good. Don't fall for it. The drinks were a big letdown -- my cold brew tasted like hotel water. My brother's latte had that burnt espresso taste, and my sister's mocha honestly tasted like mud. Not sure what was going on with the coffee that day, but it wasn't good. We ordered some food too, hoping it would make up for it, but it was super bland. Nothing terrible, just really plain and forgettable. The vibe of the café is nice and the staff was friendly, but with so many other options in Hyannis, we probably won't be back. read more

Surprisingly bad. Don't come here if you expect any baseline level of decent service. Also the ambience of this establishment is not as expected from the photos. The place just has an uncomfortable vibe. Had to order and tip before I even sat down, if given the option to tip after eating, I wouldn't have. In actuality this place deserves 3 stars, but I'm giving it one I order to correct the false reality of the 4.5 star rating it currently boasts. read more

I stopped by the Mariner Cafe while in Hyannis. I got a bow tie croissant that was filled with Nutella and their tiramisu cold brew. Both were delicious. I got both to go and walked down near the water to find a bench to enjoy the sun and my treats! Made for a perfect afternoon. read more

We just found the Mariner Cafe, what a nice surprise! Order at the counter, the food is brought to your table. There's a big high top communal table in the center and smaller tables around the rest of the space. Many baked goods are from Pain D'Avignon-so are the very best. The online menu page doesn't do it justice. The pictures tell the story, much better than I could have expected. Friendly, helpful staff. read more

As a local, looking for an afternoon coffee with a friend, we stumbled upon the Mariner. Late and a cappuccino, almandine croissant fit us both. What a pleasant surprise!! Both coffees were excellent. Service was wonderful. Both pastries were perfectly laminated, buttery to the taste and melted in the mouth. PLENTY of luscious filling. Our server stopped by to ask how we liked our food. He then offered to let us try another croissant, just out of the oven!! Another treat - absolutely flakey, buttery and delicate. While the staff was nice, the croquet Monsieur wasn't made the traditional way. They used some sort of either Portuguese bread or brioche so it was soggy and kinda gross. The Iced coffee is far too strong for me and they only have the little coffee creamer single servings. Prefer to use fresh cream or half n half out of a chilled pitcher when making my ice coffee. This place is one of the BEST places to eat. We went every morning for breakfast and everything we had was top notch. Try the croque monsuir and thw avocado toast! You will not be disappointed. The service was fast, the staff patient and knowledgeable and SO personable. They truly love their customers. It's a beautiful little Cafe with alot of sunlight. It's a cozy spot for breakfast and lunch and if you want to be treated like family this is your spot. They remembered my husband's order after we came in the second time. Not today, over medium, so not much runny yolk but a thicker one. This is a gigantic salt bomb, in addition. They serve your water in tiny glasses and every bite led to downing an entire glass of water. It's good they were on top of refilling the glasses, but even then I finished a quarter of this before I couldn't take it any more. I did saunter over to the counter where they have a lot of good looking pastries, so we'll see if the ones I bought end up redeeming this place. As it stands, I can't recommend this establishment unless you'd like to try the tartare.

My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.

Not the crappy stuff... very good fresh fruit including things like blackberries and strawberries. All sweet and ripe. My wife got an excellent omelet with a toasted blueberry muffin. She also got the fruit included. She liked hers a lot. The waitress was great. Very friendly and provided great service. She automatically brought me a second pitcher of hot water and a second tea bag without me even asking. That's a notable first!!! My wife and I looked at each other part way through the meal and said...."We're gonna come back here!"

He was talking with two local girls. . I think the owner. He was very unfriendly and rude to me. Because I asked if the deli was open. He acted like he did not hear me. While looking straight at me. Then said the deli was closed. Funny the two cute young girls were served. Very uncomfortable and degrading as I am overweight. I work hard and am very considerate of others. I am non judgemental.
