Food was so good! We started with the Cape Cod Benny. the egg was perfectly poached (major win ). The lobster mini cake that came with it was a tad salty, but the fresh French baguette saved the day and balanced everything out beautifully. The lobster omelette was another highlight they did not skimp on the lobster. Big, juicy chunks in every bite. Totally worth it. The only letdown was the spiced pumpkin latte. The coffee was sour and felt like it skipped the milk entirely. If you're craving pumpkin, go for the regular pumpkin latte, a much safer bet. Overall, we'd absolutely come back to try more dishes. We love sea street! Upscale diner feel, but bright and cheerful. Food is a huge cut above! Menu is breakfast and lunch. Both fab. Pancakes light and fluffy; Mediterranean chicken sandwich is fabulous. California burger was amazing with blt; fried egg and all sandwiches cone with home made potato chips. Quesadillas also fabulous - 5-6 large shrimp, more like a fajita with sautéed peppers and onions. Top with sour cream guacamole and pico it's a fabulous lunch. Stopped by for Sunday brunch with family (3 people) Id never been before and was a bit skeptical given the recent reviews but decided to go anyway, and I'm glad I tried it out for myself! A bit busy when we arrived but it's Sunday. Several families inside, which is nice to see. It's not very large inside but they tried to place tables well as much as is feasible. For $60 (including 20% tip) we got: three egg omelette with onions, Greek omelette, avocado toast, a chocolate chip pancake and fresh squeezed mango juice. The portions were just fine; I never understand people who want loads of food while eating out The juice was fresh and delicious: perfectly tart and sweet at the same time. The glass was full - no skimping. Good value for the price IMO. Photos attached. Staff were very sweet. We will return. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is about the extremely tight parking lot and minimal spaces for cars but that had nothing to do with the food or people or ambiance so keeping it to 5 stars read more

Dear Owner, I have to write to you to tell you about the experience I had in your establishment. I was in Hyannis for my birthday celebration and we went for breakfast at the Sea St Café. We were lucky enough to have arrived before the line started to form at the door. I should also mention I have waitressed a good part of my life. From the moment that I walked in until the time I left, I had nothing but an amazing experience. I may have been a little hypersensitive due to the fact it was my birthday, and I was looking for nothing but happy, positive vibes/feelings. That is exactly what I received there. The décor was beautiful; the floor & tables were clean and pretty. The music playing was soothing and there was absolutely zero noise coming from the kitchen. No smashing/clanking of dishes. The servers were helping people with clam & friendly demeanor. They were not stressed, over tasked or appearing overwhelmed. My two servers working with us on September 7th was Warlin & Lillian. Both were wonderful, helpful and attentive. In a world filled with such ugliness at the moment, I thought it would be nice to know that someone came into a place that you have built, own and run and had such a lovely experience that I had to take the time to let you know. We ordered a variety of breakfast foods. I had the Fenway Benedict. It had sausage, onions and peppers. Quite tasty. Definitely get the side of hash. It is made with pulled pork and is among the best we have ever had. The pancakes were good! The French toast was even better. The espresso machine wasn't working, so we had the regular coffee. Not tasty. If you have ever had strong coffee that could be mistaken for cigarette ash, this is similar. They had a variety of juices, including strawberry. It is essentially a strawberry daiquiri. Nice flavor. The veggie omelette was well received. The hash browns were well made and had a mix of regular and sweet potatoes. Very, very good. Highly recommended! read more

I work nearby this place and haven't been in to eat in many years, since it was Colucci Brothers Diner. The owners have done a great job. Our food was delicious and the service was great. They started off by delivering a couple of pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese puffs) while we read the menu. I had the Irish Benedict with house made corned beef hash topped by poached eggs and finished with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese sauce. A side of white and sweet potato home fries came with it. Came here expecting a basic diner and oh, boy, it's not! I left impressed with interest to return to try more! "Yes!" to the Brazilian cheese puffs that you want to ask for seconds of, and and "Yes!" to the Mimosa that comes with a small bubbly bottle freshly opened for you (instead of some old bottle sitting around). Ordered the Cape Cod Benedict; I never order benedicts but this looked pretty benign with poached egg and lemon dill sauce. For me, they nailed it - a minimal amount of the sauce, eggs were cooked accurately and the creatively speared toasted baguette was fun to use to mop up the food. Lobster cakes were spiced nicely, and each had a bit of lobster (of course, more would be just more expensive....) The potatoes seemed to be a mix of sweet potato and regular, also fun. Unexpectedly delicious breakfast this morning. We were looking for a place that served mimosas, celebrating some good news and came across the Sea Street Cafe in Hyannis. Beautiful little place. What first caught my attention were the orange juice ice cubes served with the mimosa! Genius. Good strong coffee. Beverages were served with little eggy/cheese puffs (Brazilian, don't remember what they were called but we affectionately termed them "cheese baby's"). They were delightful! As we were finishing up, they were baking a fresh batch so we ended up ordering some to go! We ordered the Angry Jackie breakfast (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and home fries) and said we would split it. The hubs ordered a side of corned beef hash. They brought it out split on two plates, super thoughtful. The bacon was thick and crispy, perfect. Home fries were Yukon and sweet potato cooked crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside with delicious seasoning. Ordered the eggs scrambled and they were cooked perfectly. Pancakes were fluffy and light, served with warm maple syrup. Hubs had the corned beef hash and said it tasted home made and was delicious, finished it all. This was a breakfast for one that was more than enough for two. We will definitely be back again and rumor has it they're going to start doing dinner! read more

Excellent early bird breakfast deal. All three of us ordered off of the $7 specials that include coffee or tea. I had the two eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. The other two had pancakes and French toast. Both were fluffy and fresh. We arrived right at 7:30am on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves for the first 15-20 minutes and then it quickly filled up. During our meal still-warm Brazilian Cheese Bread was brought to our table as a complimentary snack. All of the staff was friendly, it is meticulously clean and the decor is welcoming. Well I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised, the restaurant was sold and the new owners who I'm sure are trying hard just don't seem to cut it. The orders really seemed almost generic in their quality, though I must say the fish in my 'fish tacos' was not at all greasy and was by itself very tasty. But everything else was quite a bit below average. Even the chips that the salsa and guacamole were in were stale, never mind something with the ingredients that you got from a jar. My mothers was a little better but her side of corned beef hash was a total mystery beyond its absurdly high salt. It was away from a hash and more like a tossed blend. I wish I took a photo of it but I didn't, it looked like corned beef shredded through a light meat shredder. Not unpleasant to look at, but unpleasant to taste, and not looking like any corned beef has we've ever seen. On my tacos, the size of the fish was just ridiculous. Have you ever seen fish that size on tacos? Might have been good if there was ANY prepared toppings, but as the picture shows, there were none. Went here for lunch and wanted to sit inside but it's just one big room so it was super loud. We chose to sit outside which is the parking lot. Our waitress got 2 out of 3 orders wrong and the food seemed to just miss the mark. It was fine but no more than that. We had one fish tacos and you had to put it together yourself which I didn't love, one chicken sandwich and one cape cod Ruben. The fries were good. We don't know many places in the area and this one is ok so we came twice. The food is good, for the most part but the service isn't. First visit: We were asked when we were almost finished if everything was ok. By then it was too late to ask for a refill on the very small $3.50 coffee. Second visit, both of us ordered rye (and it was written down on our receipt). One got rye and the other got rock hard white bread. Very easy to tell they were different breads so that's a bit baffling. It's mentioned in several reviews that they don't serve butter either on or with the toast. You actually have to ask for butter, and by the time you get it the toast is cold. No butter with the pancakes either. I feel like toast and pancakes both are normally a buttered item. Was not offered a coffee refill again but this time found someone and asked. Our meal was about done by then but I needed to at least get my 3.50 worth. We paid for cheese in the omelette but it was cheese-less and bland. Too difficult to get it remade so we just paid. The potatoes are very good and the bacon is nicely crisped. The syrup is clearly watered down and portion is a bit stingy as well. The service is friendly and the restaurant is adorable. Just try and get the orders right and for goodness sake bring people butter for toast and pancakes without them having to ask. It's very strange not to. read more

Food is tasty and the place is CLEAN! Service is good. Wait staff very friendly. Small problems: I ordered two eggs over easy with side of corned beef hash and sourdough toast and potatoes. The toast was purely white. It wasn't toasted much at all. The waiter offered to toast it again but I had already broken bread, so to speak. The potatoes were tasty. Until I found a few pieces of home fried sweet potatoes in the mix... I don't really like home fried sweets. ‍ The hash came on a separate plate and the potatoes were in a small bowl on the main plate. Not enough room for the plates so I dumped the hash onto the eggs and the tots onto the plate and all was good. Great place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Arguably the best breakfast and lunch spot in town. Small place but BIG vibes! Very clean and modern inside and out plus the employees were all super nice. Let me start by saying I was in town for four days and this place was so good I went here TWICE! When I was there for breakfast one morning, everything on the menu looked so good I had to come back for lunch. The house made drinks are one of a kind. Fresh squeezed orange, pineapple, grapefruit and other kinds of juices are great for breakfast and they also have a few fresh lemonades for lunch! I got the pineapple juice with breakfast the first time and the strawberry lemonade for lunch and they were both super fresh and tasty. For breakfast I had the Irish Benedict, classic eggs Benedict but with corned beef hash and a kerrygold cheese spread on top! It's was insanely good, not like that corned beef hash from a can that most diners will pass off as real but actual pulled corned beef made into a hash. The breakfast potatoes are also on another level. For lunch I had the cape cod Rueben (which I didn't even know was a thing until visiting cape cod) and lm not a Rueben guy, I don't think I've ever ordered a Rueben before in my entire life but this take on it with fresh fish is awesome!
