These guys are GREAT! They were recommended to me by my former boss, who has been taking her cars to these guys for almost 30 years. I took our car in for a tune up and oil change. They called back an hour later to say that the car didn't need a tune up and they wouldn't let me pay for one. I had expected to leave the car overnight, but they changed the oil and called me back a few hours later to cone and get it. It cost $30 bucks. If you've ever stumbled upon a Valvoline or gotten an oil change from a car dealership, you know this is a great deal. Good, honest service is hard to come by in this city. I completely appreciated their unwillingness to take advantage of a customer and have since referred everyone I know here. These guys are top notch! Don't go anywhere else! Tony Marino deserves a Fat Gold Star as far as I am concerned. I live in fear and dread of car repairs...you see, I drive an older car (1999 Toyota Camry) and any occasion to see a mechanic is an occasion on which I MAY have to spend a lot of money. So, when my check engine light came on a while back, I knew that getting the car inspected was going to be a bit nerve wracking for me. So, I finally dropped the car off for the oft put off inspection, and today I needed to go pick it up. I had purposely not called Marino's because i didn't want to hear what he would tell me. Then today, I waited as long as I possibly could before going to pick up the car. So imagine my surprise when Tony tells me that he was able to get the car through inspection WITHOUT an expensive repair. No problem...just like that - There were no surprises - no little things that had to be done to get the car to pass inspection - This isn't my usual experience with a mechanic. Usually they try to tell you that you need this or that - brakes, windshield wipers - something. For this, Tony has my undying gratitude and my business. Came here because of all the positive reviews. Spoke to Tony on the phone. Wife's car needed an oil change, tire rotation, and brake inspection. Tony got me in 20 minutes after I called. Place is unassuming from the outside, but facilities are clean. They got to work on the oil change and rotation. They ended up not diagnosing a couple of things I asked about, oil change and tire rotation were in line with most chain auto repairs, but you could tell they care about the quality of their work. read more
