Our potential buyers hired this company to do a septic inspection. They paid good money for a thorough and honest job. That is not what they or we received. The two techs they sent to our home were not experienced enough to know that we have two tanks. This is very common for larger homes. However, they came to the assumption, very prematurely, that our drain field was bad. We then paid for our own inspection and had the very reputable and capable Leesburg Septic out to our home. The first thing he noticed was that the ground around the second tank was undisturbed. He said that experienced inspectors should know that if you open the first tank and do not see a filter, that should prompt you to look for the second tank. Now I understand that mistakes can be made but when you are paying for an inspection you should reasonably expect the team they send to know what to look for. What is more disturbing and disappointing to me is when Prime Plumbing was contacted to tell them about the findings of Leesburg Septic and question the discrepancy, they doubled-down on their error causing even more concern for our buyers. Now we are having to call out a THIRD company to prove their oversight and lack of proper inspection practices. I would not recommend this company on principle alone. **Update** we had a 3rd company come out and do a full inspection of both tanks and dug a hole for the drain field. He actually did it for FREE because he understood that both parties had already paid for 2 inspections... wow! His findings were in agreement with Leesburg Septic. At this point it is very telling, to say the least, what kind of company Prime Plumbing is. A couple of months ago we were having some plumbing issues ie. water backing up in showers & tiolets not flushing properly, we called prime & they sent a tech to pump the septic drain field which he did. He stated that we needed a new dain field & would send me written estimate which he did. when the estimate arrived I was shocked to see that the total for the drain field was over $8000 dollers!!!!!! . And just yesterday the system plugged up again so we called last night and was told a rech would arrive berween 9:22 & 11:22 & an email would be sent verifing the arrial time. the emial arrive & we wated& waited. The plumber arrived to my residence and seemed very dismissive of my information involving my water leak. Told my home warranty company the water leak was something that is wasn't and cut excess holes on n my way and replaced a perfectly good piper and the water leak was still not fixed. This caused extensive conversations with the home warranty and delay on fixing the problem. The cherry on top of the whole situation, the plumber said he could fix the problem for $750.00. I was appalled and asked the plumber to leave because it was very evident they were out to rip me off. 2 weeks later another company fixed the leak without any issues under warranty. I had a water leak i believe was within my wall the tech comes out quickly did a test test ( water Pressure test ) and could see there was some kind of water issue happening. The tech must be commissioned based as he proceeds to try and sell me a repipe without even knowing where the leak was coming from for approximatley $9700.00 Also stated as an alternative he would need to bust up my kitchen and gargae floor to locate the leak. $2700.00 I had to call a leak detection company, American Leak Detectors, ( Highly Recomend ) which was fast at arriving and found the leak in the wall in less that 10 minutes, exactly what I had asked to the tech from Prime Plumbing to to do since you could see the water coming from the wall. I then hired LaTow Brothers in Orange City to complete the job. I dont reccomend this company because i had to spend an extrak $400 to get the answer i already knew and that is the leak was in the wall. Called in during the busy season. My property is on a very steep angle causing a very difficult time to get a Leitchfield installed with it being approved through the city. I had over a 5 foot drop, in a questionable 2 to 3 dozen truckloads of dirt going through another company. The team came out and inspected the property came up with multiple different avenues to approach the situation, and found the best and cheapest route available. Due to the cities new rules it was a bit pricey, but with their 0% financing this was something that I was able to afford. (we had just bought this house within the year). Their team came out during the delay of waiting for the city for approval and pumped out our septic. From there added three additional inspection points to help further any issues down the road with diagnosing. Their quality of work is above par, their employees had great attitudes and were very responsive as well as explained and informed me as everything continued with the repairs. We ended up needing six truckloads of dirt were they were very diligent in ensuring that all the dirt was placed in the proper positions to not cause additional costs. During this time I received an email stating that there was a raffle for veterans military and first responders I responded to the email and won to free my Moab sink faucets including installation. These were installed in my house during the Leitchfield install and was absolutely free! This is a great team to work with, the only downside is the roots that were pulled up while running the drainage field were properly stacked in piles but we're not loaded up and taken back with them. This causes additional work on the yard cleanup process. (although I'm quite sure that this could be an easy add-on but since they were working so hard on keeping our overall cost down they probably had this removed in order to save us money). The second thing would of been to pack the dirt where they dumped it and drove on the property as we have more of a dirt bike looking backyard. (once again I'm quite sure that this would've been an easy add-on but working so hard and keeping the overall cast down they probably remove this in order to save us money) I 100% would hire prime plumbing again as well as will be using them as our yearly plumber and septic field engineers. Although they didn't have masks, we provided them with masks for them to wear because we had my elderly parent and children in the home. They wore the masks without issue. I have used Prime Plumbing at a previous residence to pump out my septic tank and their price was on par with other companies so I called them to come out and give me a repair quote for a 1 1/2" water line that had been broken and was actually already repaired but was leaking a little as the person who repaired it didn't leave the glue to dry long enough before turning on the water. They quoted me over $600!!!! Giving the benefit of the doubt here and determining that they wanted to remove the repair work already done which was two couplers and replace them, that's about $20 worth of material and 30 minutes of time, 1 hour if they wanted to stay and wait for the glue to dry, but even at an hour of time and double my estimate of material its no where near a $600 repair! I am disgusted and concerned for anyone who may call them that does not have the knowledge to say no, that's a rip off! This is a predatory company, do not call them! read more

They wanted more money to pump the tank, so I had a different company come on Monday, when they opened it the tank was not full, and the level was where it was supposed to be. They pumped it anyway. I tried the toilets again, and they immediately started backing up, when I called prime plumbing and explained everything , they said they don't warranty their services, and I would have to pay for them to come out again. They also lied saying they cleared the pipes from the septic clean out, only problem is my septic doesn't have a clean out. This company is a complete scam. When I called to schedule service I was told it was $95.00 to show up and I agreed. We wanted two faucets installed and Nick who did a nice job. He then quoted me I asked him to leave based on the price, $1800.00. He than told me he could reduce it to $1600.00. I agree with Michelle. Stay far, far away. Outrageous price: $59 dispatch fee, $149 labor charge without doing any labor and a 3% visa fee. My $59 opinion became $214. I bought a foreclosure that sat 2 1/2 years with a well that was pumping black water through the outside hose bib even after running it full blast for an hour. So I called Prime and said I wanted them to check it before opening the indoor water valve to all faucets. I didn't want to clog all the faucets and toilet valves and have to replace them and the faucet seats and springs. They said they would charge the $59 dispatch fee - which for all other companies means check it out and tell me if it was bad bacterial organisms that live in wells after not using them or just minerals. I ran it 5 or 6 times over the next 24 hours and it started to clear. He determined it was iron and magnesium, checked the water softener and said I could open the inside valve to check everything for leaks. He helped me check for leaks. One toilet had a bad fill valve and one a tank gasket (each a 20 minute job which I always do myself). I could see charging $214 if he fixed them but he did nothing other than give me the OK to turn the water on and help look for leaks. read more
