Solid pizza option on the West end of the island. It's not a dine in spot but pickup is a good business for the place. Conveniently located in a small strip center at Mile 12 Road amongst a convenience store, liquor store and Seafood market. This could be your one stop spot. Pizza crust is medium thin/thick, sauce is good and toppings are plentiful. Drop in for the kids or yourself.

We came in and ordered a pizza, I asked if I could use the restroom and the lady was nice enough to let me use it, a couple minutes later I had to go back in and asked if it's ok, the guy in the front decided to be an ASS HOLE and refused to let me use the restroom, the lady just stood there quiet and looked at me, told them this is a joke and I will be leaving a review, they didn't seem to care so there you go, plenty of pizzas around with service much better than this one, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE‼

Yuuuuummy! Fresh toppings, great crust and a deal! We called in an order for a medium Mario's special, bread and salad to go. Our order taker was pleasant. The pizza came loaded with quality ingredients. The cheesy garlic bread with marinara sauce was toasted to perfection and the marinara sauce was delicious. The garden salad had tomatoes, cucumbers and black olives. It was large enough for 2 people. Everything was wonderful! We were able to make 2 meals out of our order and still had bread leftover. In the Jamaica Beach area, I've now tried 2 pizza places. This one is by far the best for service, food quality and price. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was recommended by the gentleman that owns the condo that we're staying at this week, and we are so glad that he made the recommendation. Mario's is truly authentic Italian, and probably made one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. We combined it with the Greek salad which was plentiful for two of us to share. We enjoyed our time at Mario's and the service was top shelf.

This is only a take out place. No option to dine in. Staff seemed nice but because it is only take out, the menu is limited

Ordered a quick pizza for dinner, it was ready in 20 minutes. Toppings were fresh, crust cooked well and seemed better from last visit.

Do they deliver to Jamaica Beach?

Yes they deliver to Jamaica Beach. They even deliver right out into the darkness. You have to order a certain amount of food for delivery. But I promise, it's worth it.

The interior of the restaurant is small, but interesting. The pizza making portion of their kitchen is visible from the tables, so you can watch them as they make the pizzas. Our waiter was super friendly, and the service was excellent. We started off our meal with the fried mushroom appetizer. Usually, when you order fried mushrooms, you get an entire mushroom dipped in breading and fried. Here the mushrooms are chopped into chunks before breading and frying. It came with both marinara and ranch for dipping sauces. We loved having the smaller chunks, because if you've ever eaten fried mushrooms, you know that when you bite into them , the juice can sear your mouth. By using smaller chunks, it was much easier to eat, especially when piping hot. We were surprised that they didn't carry banana peppers as a topping for pizzas, but other than that, our pizza was fabulous! We deliberately bought a larger pizza than we needed, because we were looking for leftovers. The pizza heated up well the next day! We would highly recommend visiting Mama Teresa's!

But as I was looking at the photos of the pizza, I was trying to understand why the rating was so high. It honestly just looked like pretty standard pizza, so I couldn't quite figure out the angle. But then our meat lovers pie came to the table and I understood. I can't quite describe to you what made this pizza unique, but there was something different about it. I think it might simply be that the crust was airy. Whatever it was, I really enjoyed it. Granted, that magic flavor tended to dissipate as the pizza sat and got a bit soggier, but I still really enjoyed it. My wife ordered chicken parm and she really loved it, but I thought the sauce was a bit on the watery side. Either way, I'm happy we finally got the chance to visit, as we've had Mama Teresa's bookmarked for a while now.

I got to enjoy all of those things last night in the company of our new friends at Mario's! Dishes we enjoyed were the Rigatoni in vodka sauce, pasta and Alfredo sauce but the pinnacle of the servings was the daily special of a freshly caught redfish, lightly breaded and sautéed in butter paired with green beans, served over linguine in a light creamed lemon sauce. Fantastic!!! The service was great and to top it off we indulged with their homemade gelato! Chocolate Hazelnut and Almond for me, a Grapefruit sorbet along with many other options we just had to sample. The staff is well trained and it was a pleasure to share our evening with them. We sat at the bar since they had happy hour. We ordered two hh martinis. The house vodka is titos! Really great and perfectly dirty too our liking. We also ordered the muchachos. They were fine I guess. Pretty plain. Crispy with cheese sauce and that's about it. I think an Italian bruschetta topping without have been nice. It had something on it, but it was not nearly enough and didn't have any flavor. My shrimp parm was good. They leave the tails on the shrimp even though it's coated with piping hot marinara and molten cheese. It made it really hard to eat. I wish they would have taken those off. It's like leaving feathers on chicken. Must be removed before eating. I never understand why places leave it on. Well cooked and the sauce was delicious. The side of Alfredo was also great. I took the leftovers home and it reheated just fine and didn't break. That's really hard to find. I'll be back again on my next visit to the island if I'm craving pasta. This place did not disappoint.

The restaurant is small and cozy. Sitting next to the Cove pool at twilight was very nice. We had the antipasto (italian charcuterie board) it was loaded with meats and cheeses and shared with bread on our table of 7. A little on the spicy side. We had our 3 older teen/young adult boys who came with us to the beach. 5 boys between 17-24 and they all got some bites in. For drinks the older had peach Bellini (which is frozen) and the martini. For seconds we had espresso martini and the sour. I personally liked the drinks not too sweet and the martini was dry with the espresso martini heavy on the coffee side. For entrees boys did some pizza the boglonase, Alfredo sauce with crab (they can customize a dish) and the chicken Luis was mine and delicious 10/10. And a huge oversized slice. My foodie son could not eat it all! I've gone down 61st countless times, but not once have I ever set foot inside this longtime Italian culinary institution. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ordered from here, either. Mario's was on my radar for the evening on Wednesday after I toured the new Ball High (Class of 2000). I failed to resist the siren song of the dinner buffet, which takes place every Wednesday from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. For about $17, diners could have their pick of the five or so pizzas in addition to entrees, pasta, salads, and deserts. I decided to have a slice of each pizza -- cheese, pepperoni, supreme, meat lovers, etc. -- since I was a newbie to the establishment. The slices were the usual hand tossed and not too thick. The cheese-to-toppings ratio was pretty even. Fortunately, I enjoyed each, so much so that I felt stuffed as I worked on my third slice. After pizza, I assembled a plate consisting of fried fish, potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken pasta. My taste buds were continuously treated to straight-up Old World Italian deliciousness. I couldn't get enough of the fried fish and chicken pasta. It took me a while to finish the spaghetti because I was beyond the point of full. I had no choice but to forego the chicken masala and seafood rice pilaf. Mario's, which has existed since 1967, has the undeniable feel of an old school pizzeria. Guests can actually feel the warmth emanating from the kitchen as well as the staff. When dining in, be sure to ask for Wyatt. He'll make you feel right at home. Whitney is another person you ought to get to know also. I believe that a lot of my Wednesday evenings will be spent here.
