This is a great restaurant the food is great

This is a great restaurant great food and drinks and my little baby. The atmosphere seems half restaurant and half sports bar.

The food is real good. Everything we had was delicious. Smoked marlin tacos, shrimp empanadas and the shrimp cocktail was awesome. Would definitely go again.

We waited for what seemed like forever for this place to open. So glad to have one so close to home. So far I've tried the grilled fish tacos/burritos, mixed fajitas, chicken quesadilla, carne asada tacos & toritos. All were ok. It is a traditional Mariscos restaurant & the portions are huge. They have a full bar & aren't cheap Mariscos. The Michalada's are really tasty & have a shrimp hitch hiker which is yummy. There is a mess of bottled hot sauces if you want more zing. The soup starter is a nice touch & also good. The chips & salsas are not good. I'd skip those entirely if I were you. The service on all 3 visits were consistently slow. Hopefully they work that out sooner than later.

This place is tucked in side a strip mall area behind a carnacaria and a sonic. The ambience was good, the woman helping us didn't speak good English but was nice and had another girl who did speak English come over to take our order. We did a to go order, I felt welcomed but put off a bit. They took my order just a ceviche tostada and I was waiting for so long I ordered a Michelada which tasted like the one Puerto Peñasco it was good. they use Maggie in their dishes. Every culture has their own twist in making ceviche I didn't really care for Maggie in it. I like the fresh crisp clear broth of my ceviche. It wasn't bad it was good. It's a place to check out for yourself. To each his own. Happy Eats!

By far the best michaladas/ seafood! Service is A+ plus, very friend and welcoming. The price is worth it.

First time here and we loved it! We've been looking for a great mexican restaurant and found it here. The salsa was very good and spicy. We had a burrito and it was freshly made. Also a taco de pescado and it was delicious! Been looking for a good fish taco and i finally found the place to get my fix. The hubby had ceviche de camaron which was bomb! A little pricey but well worth it! Definetely coming back!

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

One of the ceviches came out very quickly, the other came out last and we had to inquire about it. Not sure if they forgot or were just making a new batch. All the food was good. No complaints. I know NO ONE in Arizona every friend I've made has been by online dating working or picking a restaurant with a bar (because I eat alone mostly) and here has become my new spot. The management team cares that you're happy Juliette and John alone make the place worth the stopping everyone else is amazing too IN SEASON they have live crawfish and you can tell. The regulars make it worth coming back as they're wholesome so the atmosphere alone is wonderful! Now we're hungry right so the live crawfish seasoning and heat options don't miss. I would say the "hot" for Cajun tastebuds would be mild it's always nice to know what fits they're oysters are purged and delicious as far as I can tell it's an all year option. Prices here are fair as the quality is good. Heard one person mention the sauce is good at pier 88 but everything else is better here...I'd take cooked to perfection than a little better sauce. You should too traveling or native. I'd post a pic of the crawfish (live it's in season) but they were perfectly cooked amazing flavor and I smashed the whole pound before I thought this place deserved the atta boy!

A Taste of the Bayou Right Here!…read more Walking into Flavors of Louisiana feels like stepping straight into the heart of the South--where the spices are bold, the portions are generous, and every bite carries a story. From the moment I sat down, the warm hospitality made me feel like family, and the aroma of Cajun spices drifting from the kitchen let me know I was in for something special. The Food The star of the show is undeniably the seafood dishes. The crawfish étouffée was rich and velvety, with layers of flavor that only true Louisiana cooking can capture. The seasoning was spot-on--bold without being overpowering, spicy but balanced. The fried catfish was golden perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. And don't get me started on the gumbo--hearty, smoky, and brimming with soul. Every side dish felt like comfort food elevated. The hush puppies were crisp little bites of heaven, and the dirty rice was so flavorful it could have been a meal on its own. The Experience What I loved most was the authenticity. Nothing felt watered down or rushed--it was food made with love, patience, and pride. The staff checked in often, always with a smile, and you could tell they genuinely cared that you enjoyed not just your meal, but your entire experience. Final Thoughts Flavors of Louisiana isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience. It's the kind of place you come to when you want food that warms your soul and reminds you what real flavor is supposed to taste like. If you've never had authentic Cajun or Creole cooking before, this is the perfect place to start. And if you already love Louisiana cuisine, you'll feel right at home. Authentic. Flavorful. Unforgettable!
