The Phoenix area has some of the best Mexican eateries, and this is one of them. The restaurant is old but clean. We have been there for breakfast eating Huevos rancheros, and huevos à la Mexicana. Both dishes were very good. Our next visit we went for lunch and enjoyed 2 very mouthwatering dishes. The service is quick! Parking outside is limited and they do not serve hard liquor. Plenty of seating inside and can accommodate large parties. This place serves flavorful and authentic Mexican food. It is a spot that we have recommended to several friends and family. Those that have visited agree that it is very good. They are also known for their seafood dishes, although we have yet to try.

Great food! If you are looking for authentic Mexican seafood it is here! We had lunch here. Shrimp with napolitas was delicious, shrimp burrito was nice and think, grilled fish was full of flavor, diablo shrimp is nice and spicy. A bit on a high side especially for a hole in the wall but totally worth it for the quality of food.

Really good seafood. The ambiance does include music in Spanish. Like they say little hole in the walls have the best food

This place is awesome. We had the Ostiones Preperadas and a Shrimp cocktail. Best Ostiones preperadas I've ever had. The cocktail was really great as well. We are definitely coming back and working our way through the menu!

Initial Impression: Hard to find, its right off of the side of a major street in a subdivision. Hard to notice its a restaurant. Pros: Food tasted really good Horchata is freshly made Clean Nice venue Wide variety of food Friendly Employees Cons: Walked in & there were about 20 men in there more like a bar feel. Hostess was not at the front Waited a while Parking lot is dirt Experience: We finally foundthe restaurant & parked on the side next to it. Dirt gravel parking space. Not good for heels or flats. We walked in & waited a while before the hostess appeared. She was very nice. Service was fast & great. We were brought chips & salsa. We were running behind on time so we got our food to go & they jumped on it. Fast easy check out. Overall: Worth a second visit, food is worth it

Colorful place. They need to turn the speakers down tho.

She was very informative about the menu and gave great recommendations that did not disappoint. You can really tell the staff cares about the experience. While we were there, I overheard several regulars talking about how addicted they are to the food and service, and after eating here I completely understand why. We started with the calamari and sweet potato fries, which were both perfectly cooked and a great way to kick things off. Then came the garlic noodles... and wow. They were fantastic. You can taste that they use fresh garlic, and it makes all the difference. For the seafood, we ordered shrimp and snow crab. Everything was fresh, juicy, and flavorful without being overly salty like many seafood boils can be. Every bite was satisfying. Great food, great service, and great value. This place definitely earned its reputation, and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you love a good seafood boil.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

This is one of the best or the best Mexican seafood meals I have ever had. As a spicy lover I was over the moon with the ceviche, torre, and tacos durados. Two wimps in our group were not into seafood or not into spicy so they had quesadilla with fries or chicken tenders with fries. If this is you, just order a kids meal like a boss! One person had the soup and loved that as well. Maybe ask for your fries unseasoned if you don't want too much flavor. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and was delivered by another server. Our server (blonde hair) never returned, no refills, and our dirty dishes were not picked up. Basically she came by when we were done eating. All servers seemed extra attentive to the tables with only men. A lot of socializing going on in the back. The food: -The aguachile tostada was the best dish. -The shrimp crunchy taco was okay, the sauce on top seemed more fitting for a sushi plate than a shrimp taco. Something about the flavor didn't make a lot of sense. -the breaded fish and shrimp tacos okay, they're doing way too much with the seasonings in the breading. -out of oysters at 1 pm on a Friday. Overall not too authentic compared to other seafood restaurants. Trying too hard with the flavors. Uninviting experience. If service had pep in their step I would give more grace.
