Their food truck came to my workplace today and I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer burgers & fries!!! I got their classic burger which came with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, house sauce and a side of fries. The burger patty reminded me of a smash burger and was soooo good and well seasoned. The burger and fries were super fresh! I loved that their fries were the seasoned, breaded kind. All this was $15+tax which is not bad at all. I would highly recommend! read more

We had Mariscos Arenita at a brewery last weekend. We ordered carne asada fries, a gobernador taco, and a fish taco. It was $35, which I thought was a bit much, but the food was delicious and we were full, so it wasn't a terribly expensive dinner. My husband had the fries, the portion was massive! They were thick steak fries loaded with so much perfectly seasoned carne asada, cheese, and sauces. I had a few bites of the meat, and when my husband tapped out, I couldn't stop grabbing the fries that had absorbed all the delicious carne asada juices. YUM. My tacos were great! The gobenador was one of the best I have ever had. Their sauces, one a creamy chipotle and one a very spicy green salsa, were so good. They also put some freshly fried chips on my plate and I loved them. I am now following them on IG so I know where they will be, cause I need to eat from this truck again! read more

Just had their food at Common Space and it was super flavorful! The aguachiles are spicy and packed with flavor. The fish tacos are also very tasty and the sauces do not overwhelm the flavor of the fish. The salsa is a great pairing as well. The service was great, but the guy that attended me should try to speak up more in places as loud as these. I look forward to the next time I can find them near me! read more

A disappointing catch. Mariscos Arenita's Instagram promises seafood heaven, but the reality falls short. The guy taking orders with the pink hair was more focused on his pen hits than service. The quesadilla arrived in threes instead of the requested fours, service was slow, and they kept skimping pennies by turning off the grill. The asada burrito was small and fatty with lots of filler, and they ran out of chips for nachos, then skimped once the owner brought a refill. This satellite location is sinking the ship and can't even recover with the ambiance of being anchored at Monkish with a cold Foggier Window.. The ambiance is great because it's at Monkish brewery. read more

Decided to check this place out because I saw an IG post and read really good reviews on it. Honestly, when we got there, the place the food truck in was sketchy. It was in a dirt lot all on its own surrounded by other businesses. One of which was a liquor store. There was no one there ordering and there was only one guy in the truck taking orders and making the food. We ordered a few asada tacos and gobernador tacos. I have to say, they were all good. The tacos came with chips and salsa. The meats were not dry and was actually flavorful. They aren't stingy on the meats either. Service was cool, we had questions about what some of the stuff on the menu was and the guy was really helpful. Will definitely go back. read more

Picked up tacos and aguachile from their food truck outside of my apartment and it was so good and different from other Mexican food trucks I've tried. Tortillas were moist and flavorful and tasted homemade, and the meat had a nice bite. The highlight was definitely the avocado crema, which brought out the flavor of the meat and balanced out the whole dish. Aguachile was fresh and spicy if you're into that. Very light breading that gives it that crunch without overpowering the flavor and texture of the soft, delicate fish underneath. My favorite food truck. We frequent the local breweries, usually hitting up at least one every weekend, and we often choose which one depending on the food truck of the day. If this truck is at one, we almost always go there. The seafood is fresh and delicious and full of flavor. Always hits the spot when you need a break from all the heavy, greasy foods most of the other trucks carry. It's more filling than it looks when you first get it. Sometimes they carry oysters which are my husband's favorite but they're seasonal. read more

Mariscos Arenitas catered our post-wedding brunch at Trademark Brewery. Liz was very helpful when we were planning our brunch out and we quickly identified the menu we wanted our guests to have. The day of the event was a bit chaotic because she wasn't there and I had to call her to get the logistics down. As a result, the taco service started a bit later than expected, though they adjusted when it would end correspondingly. In terms of the food, we got the asada, chicken, and veggie tacos. They were also very solid if not spectacular in taste and were very filling, though we didn't get any of their seafood specialities. My hubs and I enjoyed a couple things off this pop ups menu at The Bruery in Placentia. We had the shrimp in green sauce with cucumbers. Absolutely delicious. A bit of a bite on the seasoning but really awesome. So flavorful. Then we had the shrimp and the fish tacos. Fish and shrimp are grilled with amazing seasonings and the shells are cooked on the grill also. No frying involved, a nice heathy choice in pop up seafood offerings. The chips alone were worth it. We had Mariscos Arenitas cater our wedding last weekend on May 4th, 2024. We had 130 guests and everyone truly enjoyed the variety of tacos and the burgers from the Arenitas Burger truck. The Asada Fries were my favorite accompanied by a burger. Liz provided two different trucks for the event and we had a third truck (Italia on the Road) serving Italian pasta. When they were done serving our guests, they came inside and brought the remaing food that we purchased in to go containers. Truly professional and everyone was full and satisfied. We will be calling them again for our next event. Although we will.likely travel to a location to get a burger and Asada Fries. read more

This is the BEST Mariscos I have ever had. Their shrimp & Fish are so clean, which is not common for most Mariscos places. You can taste the freshness in their food. From their ceviche to their aguachiles, you can't go wrong. So much flavor, and good sized servings. My personal favorites here however are the fish tacos & Taco Gobernador. They are not just good, they are EXCEPTIONAL. Definitely the best fish tacos I've eaten and the Gobernador hits the spot every time.
