Sitting outdoors with the ocean directly in front of us, watching the waves roll in while enjoying the sea breeze, it felt exactly like the kind of coastal Mexico experience you imagine before arriving. The view alone almost made me think that even if the food turned out to be average, the setting would make the visit worthwhile. We ordered the grilled seafood platter and a seafood margarita, both of which sounded promising on the menu. After all, when you're dining in a city known for its seafood, expectations naturally rise. The seafood platter looked impressive when it arrived. The plate was loaded with a variety of seafood and certainly made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the actual flavors didn't quite match the presentation. Several items seemed overcooked, leaving the seafood a little dry, and the seasoning was fairly ordinary. More disappointing was that a few of the seafood items carried a noticeable fishy taste.
